With 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:The Last of Us Part II having been out for several weeks, most gamers have already beaten it or have at least discovered the twist halfway through the campaign. After the third day in Seattle, players take control of Abby and discover her side of the story and the redemption arc she goes through after killing Joel.
While the two characters are functionally identical, several key differences in the arsenal and upgrades may make a gamer prefer one over the other. While it is all down to personal opinion, the advantages listed below for each protagonist are key factors in one's decision as to who is🐓 more fun to control.
10 Abb𝔍y: Crossbow 🌸
Fans will remember Ellie's prowess with a bow and arrow from the debut title, but Abby has a crossbow. She does not need to draw 🌺the bow back, though she takes significantly longer to load up a new bolt. As long as she takes the enemy out with one hit, loading a new bolt should not be a problem.
9 Ellie: Knife 𝓀 ܫ
Unlike the necessity of shivs in the first game, Ellie can take out humans and Infected alike silently without worrying about her knife breaking. On the other hand, Abby, like Joel, needs to craft shivs — an ironic similarity considering his death at her hand. Some prefer the added layer of having to make the sharp objects, but unlimited knife kills makes stealth easier.
8 Abby: Hunting Pistol 🌳
Ellie has two pistols at her disposal, but neither of them come close to Abby's hunting pistol. If one hit with it does not take out an opponent, it is sure to stagger them for a bit, giving Abby time to either run or go in for a melee strike, a one-hit kill at close quarters. A later upgrade even 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:adds a scope to the pistol, ensuring clean 🌜headshots from l💟ong distances.
7 ⭕ Ellie: Explosive Arro൲ws
Taking a page out of John Rambo's playbook, Ellie can craft explosive arrows for some unbelievably brutal kills. Use these on enemies and they disappear iꦰnto puffs of red as the player sees some legs and parts of a torso fly about the environment. They are🌊 such sickeningly gruesome kills, one cannot blame a player for not wanting to utilize them. However, they are useful in a bind.
6 💖 Abby: Ince🍃ndiary Shells
Both characters receive a shotgun, a trademark weapon for a zombie apocalypse. However, only Abby can craft incendiary shells, an especially helpful resource when facing off against Bloaꦏters and Shamblers.
The flames are not h🍰uge, but the extra da🌺mage makes dispatching big enemies significantly easier. While one usually has two or three rounds at a given time, those give a huge advantage.
5 🐷 Ellie: Silenced Machine Gun ♕
In the game's closing hours, Ellie retrieves a silenced machine gun from the first couple of Rattlers she kills after falling into one of their traps. This gun could not have⭕ come at a better time, either. This last group of human foes Ellie faces off against are particularly nasty and have more health ☂than the WLF and Seraphites. Some even wear helmets, preventing headshots.
4 ꧋ Abby: F🦋lamethrower
Joel acquires a flamethrower in the first game, and Abby mirrors his discovery by finding her own. Flames always do well against Infected enemies, so be sure to keep this weapon on hand when battling large groups of Clickers and Runners. This rule of undead threats being particularly susceptible to fire goes back far in the history of zombie fiction, even to George A. Romero's 1968 classic Night of the Living Dead.
3 Ellie: Molotoꦫv cocktails
Molotov cocktails are a classic of any video game arsenal. In The Last of Us Part II only Ellie has access to these homemade weapons. Abby has pipe bombs which have a bigger radius, but the bouncing makes them harder to control. Molotov cocktails break where they land andඣ can take out a large group of enemies if they are bunched up together. The radius can also be upgraded later on in the game.
2 A𓆉bby: Momentum ඣ
Abby's Momentum skill makes her a more viable melee combat character than Ellie. With this upgrade bought, the first strike she executes on an enemy will give her a short moment of opportunity to immediately do another strike on a nearby foe. Melee is typically ill-advis🀅ed when facing down several opponents at once, but this move makes hand-to-ha🥃nd a more viable alternative in such situations.
1 ▨ Ellie: More Sympathetic
While Abby ends up in a better place by the game's conclusion, it is an uphill battle making the player empathiz🌠e with the woman who killed Joel. Ellie, on the other hand, has a clear goal within an hour of starting the game and most players are fully on her side during her half. Only during the end of the game does the player start to see Ellie as a monster going too far for vengeanꦫce.
