168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Naughty Dog has released another documentary, this time focussing on the making of 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:The Last of Us Part 2. In the documentary, actor Laura Bailey sheds💯 some more light on the death threats she received due to her role in the game, revealing that the abusers also targeted her newborn son.
Towards the end of the documentary, t💮he developers and cast discuss the intense backlash and hatred they all received when footage from the game leaked before launch. Bailey t♔hen explains that the messages she was receiving were so serious that the threats had to be assessed, especially as some mentioned her son.
"Every time I went online, that's all I saw. Death threats and threats of violence," says Bailey. "The worst of it, the real hardcore death threats, got passed along. They made sure that they weren't anyone that lived close by."
Bail🦄ey continues, visibly shaken by the incident. &quo🎀t;They were threatening my son who was born during all of it. It was rough. But more than anything it just taught me to keep a distance."

Bailey previous⛎ly shared some of the death threats she received on social media when the story leaked back in 2020, highlighting the abuse that everyone associated with The Last of Us Part 2 was receiving. 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:The abuse extended to Abby's face model, Jocelyn Mettler, who shared that she was still receiving hateful messages last year, long after the game's release.
This has led many to fear that the actor playing Abby in the TV adaptation, Kaitlyn Dever, will face similar abuse when the next season premieres. While the scene that sparked the abuse - Abby killing Joel - will not come as much of a surprise this time around, we've seen that many of these abusers are still struggling to let it go, even all of these years later.
Despite her experiences with abuse stemming from her work on The Last of Us, Bailey has previously commented that she would return to the series. In fact, ⭕she made a cameo😼 appearance in one of the final scenes of the HBO show. Incidentally, she appears in the scene where Joel kills Abby's father, unknowingly sealing his own fate years later. Other actors from the games appeared in the show too, with Troy Baker playing James, one of the members of David's community; Ashley Johnson playing Ellie's mother; and Merle Dandridge reprising her role as Marlene, leader of the Fireflies.
