Team Liquid CEO Steve Arhancet recently confirmed that Edward "Tacti👍cal" Ra will be the starting Attack Damage Carry for Team Liquid going forward. Tactical recently played his first LCS games in place of Yiliang "Doub𒈔lelift" Peng, who was out with laryngitis.
Before going into week six, Team Liquid with Doublelift was sitting tied ജfor 6th place with a measly 4-6 record. After winn🐓ing impressive games against Team Solo-Mid and 100Thieves with Tactical, the four time LCS champions now sit tied for 3rd place, and are in a prime position to make a playoff push.
Doublelift, one of the most storied North American players in 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:League of Legends history with six LCS titles, took to Twitter himself to share his thoughts about the situation. The 26 year old admitted to a lack of motivation being the leading cause to his benching. In the past, Doublelift has been very vocal in interviews about as a region, and how he wishes for more co💟mpetition in the LCS.
The 19 year old Tactical had an LCS debut to remember, being the only ADC to not record a death in week 6, managing 8 kills and 6 assists across both games. He also led ADC's in average damage per minute, gold differential at 15 minutes and CS (creep score) differential at 15 minutes, meaning he was beating up on his laning opponents. He gelled together extremely well with 🀅his support, CoreJJ along with his other teammates Impact, Broxah and Jensen.
Although, Tactical's roster spot isn't completely secured, as Team Liquid will decide who will start on a week to week basis, it will be inter⭕esting to see how the rookie's season plays out. Team Liquid has won the past four LCS titles, but with the undefeated Cloud9 looking like a lock to win the Spring Championship, maybe the team lets Tactical play out the remainder of the split. Or, if their winning streak continues, they mig𒐪ht decide they want to challenge Cloud9 for the title, and put the veteran Doublelift back in the bot lane.
