Riot is intent on making the jungler role in 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:League of Legends m💖ore attractiv𝔍e to players for Season 10 and they're set to rework the oft-maligned feature in upcoming patches.
Junglers have been the butt of criticism for some time now and Riot's well aware, which is why the stu🌺dio has plans to make t⭕he role more appealing.
The League jungle is normally the subject of major overhauls during preseason and the most recent one saw to t🌊he removal of the catch-up experience, which did not go down well. Change has been pretty cღonsistent where the jungle is concerned and that makes the role a difficult one to learn.
Having reached out to players in ꦺthe game's forums, lead gameplay designer Mark "Scruffy" Yetter explained that the constant reworking has been part of an attempt to get more LoL players to embrace the role.
“When we’re digging into our results and fo💜llow ups from this year’s preseason, wꦛe were really struck by a problem in the jungle role that we’d never been able to fix,” he said.
“Throughout League’s entire history, low elo players have preferred the jungle position least of all five positions,🧔 regardless of whether jungle is strong or weak relative to the other four positions.
“One of the core reasons jungle is disfavored at low elo iꦗs that it’s very different ♛than the rest of the game and the learning curve is pretty unforgiving.”
The upcoming 10.4 update, though,🐻 will expose a new approach. According✤ to Scruffy, more champions will be moved into the jungle in order to get more players to try it out, and there will be more options for mains as well.
“In 10.4, we’re going to try adding a handful of champions that we (a📖nd you) love into the jungle pool," he added. "We’d be doing very focused changes that buff these champio♛ns’ jungle clears but leave their lanes unchanged.”
Garen, Talon, Diana, Zed, and Darius are the targeted champions, with changes already previewed for Garen on the Public Beta Environment (PBE). The Dauntless soldier has gotten his Q, Decisive Strike and W, Courage buffed on the test server♊ to boost his clear but Scruffy also admitted that one or more of the aforementioned characters might not get buffed.
Patch 10.4 is expected to go live on February 19.
