Basic attacks and Formless Blade heal Nilah for a small amount, which is converted into a shield upon over healing. ACTIVE: Nilah flicks her whip in a line, dealing damage to all enemies including structures. If Formless Blade is cast whilst in Slipstream, Nilah creates a wave that travels with her to the end of her dash, dealing the same damage. If Formless Blade hits an enemy, Nilah becomes empowered for four seconds, gaining bonus attack range, attack speed, and causing her basic attacks to deal damage in a cone. This will deal reduced damage to minions and monsters but still apply on-hit effects.	Your bread and butter ability, Formless Blade should be used frequently, in order to maintain the buff. The cooldown is extremely short, and the buff can permanently be kept up, although you will risk running out of mana in the early game, should you spam too much.
W: Jubilant Veil	ACTIVE: Nilah surrounds herself with mist, becoming Ghosted, gaining bonus movement speed, magic damage reduction, and dodging all non-turret basic attacks for a couple of seconds. Touching allied champions while misted will grant them the buff for a shorter duration.	This spell is great for dueling enemy carries, and a well-timed Jubilant Veil can help you dodge empowered basic attacks such as Wukong's Crushing Blow. Try to position yourself near allied champions, so that they can make use of the short but powerful buff.
E: Slipstream	ACTIVE: Nilah dashes in the direction of the target unit, dealing damage to any enemies she passes through. Nilah can store up to two charges of Slipstream. Formless Blade and Apotheosis can both be cast during the dash.	A simple ability, Slipstream can be used to aggressively engage, as well as an escape tool. Early Game

While a very strong Mid- to Late-game champion, Nilah suffers from being poked out in the early stages. Her short attack range means enemy ADCs such as Ashe will be problematic for you, as they can safely harass you from a distance. Try to focus on last hitting in order to maximise your Joy Unending value. You can punish the enemy ADC with Formless Blade, shou⛎ld they step up to go for a last hit, and keeping up the buff will aid you in safely farming thanks to the increased attack range. Your goal is to try and maximise your minion kills thr♚oughout the early levels, as without an engage Support, you will probably find champion kills hard to come by.

Jubilant Veil can be used either as an engage tool alongside your Support, or saved in case the enemy engage onto you. You can use your first Slipstream charge to apply this onto your ally, before dashing to the enemy with the second. Buffing your allies with Jubilant Veil can significantly reduce the damage they take, and Slipstream becomes even more important to save f൩or the correct moments.
