The release comes soon after some bad blood between Meteos and the team's coaches reached the public eye. The 27-year-old player was benched towards the end of June after the team's 💜poor showing during the LCS Summer Split, after which he called out the coaching staff on Twitter for their decision.
The tweets have since been delet�♊�ed, but there is a good chance that his choice to publicize his feud played some role in the decision.
For his par൲t, Meteos apologized for his Twitter outburst.
"I let my emotions 🌞get the best of me and made𒆙 some angry tweets which were a mistake," he said in a about the release. "It was unprofessional and I take full responsibility for that mistake and accept any consequences that come from it."

"I’d rather let him have the spot since 𒀰splitting time wouldn’t be ideal for either of us, or the rest of the team," Meteos said. "I let the team know that I’m available if they need anything, but I’m confident that they’ll do well without me. I was also given opportඣunities to talk to other LCS teams but decided that joining on such short notice wouldn’t be great for myself or the team."
Meteos said that he still wants to compete in League of Legends, though he's not currently sure what his future holds. He also stated that he doesn🌄't want anyone to lash out at his old team for the situation.
