The next game that will star Link and Prince🌊ss Zelda might be arriving sooner than anyone expected, as several sources are hinting that the gam🧔e will be released on May 30, 2019.

is an upcoming crossover between Crypt of the NecroDancer and The Legend of Zelda for the Nintendo Switch, where the rhythmic roguelike action of the former is transplanted into the setting of the𓂃 latte๊r. The announcement for the game was made during the March 20th Nindies Showcase, where it was given a tentative release date of 2019.

It seems that the Cadence of Hyrule might be coming to the eShop soon, as  is reporting that a promotional email sent out by Nintendo Europe is listing the game as one of the new titles that will be released in May. It has also been noticed that using the 'Inspect' command on the official Cadence of Hyrule page on the Nintendo website will bring up a line of code listing the release date as May 30th (thanks, ).

It seems odd that Nintendo would shadow drop such a high profile game so close to E3. It might have made more sense to use the release of Cadence of Hyrule as one of the big announcements of the conference, instead of just dropping the game on the eShop a few weeks before without fanfare. Then again, Nintendo did just that with the release of Piranha Plant in Super Smash Bros. Ultimate.

The idea of Nintendo shadow dropping a high profile game might make it seem as if the company doesn't have much faith in the project, but the fact that this game even exists suggests otherwise. Nintendo made the costly choice to scrap the development of Metroid Prime 4 and start over fresh, as it wasn't meeting their high standards for the series. The fact that Nintendo allowed an indie developer to use the beloved characters from The Legend of Zelda series means that the company must have supre🌠me faith in Brace Yourself Games to produce a game that is worthy of the Zelda pedigree.

Cadence of Hyrule still has an official release date of 2019.
