168澳🌱洲幸运5开奖网:The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild is a game you've probably heard of. Better yet, you've probably heard the praise from left, right, and center for this massive open world and the freedom it offers. However, freedom often leads to mistakes, and you'll want to make sure you stay safe out there.
In this post-apocalyptic Hyrule, freedom is the key. Bearing that in mind, there are a few things that you should never do in Breath of the Wild. But let's be honest - you already have.
Updated on June 14, 2022: Breath of the Wild continues to be one of the biggest and most popular open-world games available, and with that amount of freedom comes an even bigger number of things you should definitely not do. Even though we all have. But don't.
10 𒁃 Chuck Away The Korok Leaf
Look, we know that you need all the weapons you can get. Early on, you have very little space to hold equipment, but your sticks and rusted swords won't be saving any kingdoms any time soon. So of course, you'll want everything that can deal a good whack on you at all times.
However, don't overlook the Korok Leaf. You'll likely find one naturally as you explore the Great Plateau, and they are excellent for creating a gust of wind. In 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:a game so heavily focused on physics, this is invaluable. You can also have one for pretty much the entire duration of the game - as long as you're not slapping enemies with it. So please, just keep the leaf. It's worth it.
9 Put The ✃Rock Back Down ♔
Ta da! You've just picked up a random rock and found a forest spirit underneath it. These Koroks are everywhere, and you will find dozens upon dozens hiding under little boulders. But hey, maybe turn around and put the rock somewhere else before you rush off.
We know that you'll be pretty tired after you lift up another rock and find Korok number 427, but mashing the B button will only have you drop the rock straight back down onto the Korok's head. It doesn't want that. You don't want that. The little "oof" of pain will weigh on you.
8 Jump Off The Great Plateau Early 🥃
You can't wait to get started on your adventure, but just wait a little while. The Great Plateau will teach you all you need to know, and provide you with the tools and abilities you need for survival. Most importantly, it will give you the paraglider, so that you can descend from the formation safely.
So maybe don't jump off early. We know it's fun, and you want to see what happens - but you know what will happen. Also, don't try to climb down the cliff and cheat the system - it won't work either. Just a little patience and you'll be on your way.
7 Head Straight To Hyౠrule Castle
There it is. The castle, where Zelda is trapped. You can see the malice, and it taunts you. But hey, they've waited 100 years, what's a little while longer? You'll want to make sure you're fully prepared before you take on Ganon. Also, you could find all 900 Koroks before saving the world - they'll wait.
Just because you can head straight to Hyrule Castle, doesn't mean you should. You will have to face down the four forms of Calamity before taking on Ganon himself, and you'll probably have nothing but a rusted sword, a Boko club, and seven Deku sticks to your name. Perhaps later, then?
6 Put That Lovely Horse In 🎃Danger
We all love to charge into battle every once in a while, and in a Hyrule teeming with monsters and dangers at every turn, it's going to be a given. However, what you should never do is put 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:your oh-so-lovely horse at risk - they did nothing to deserve this.
Yes, you can resurrect them if the worst does happen, but that's not insurance you should rely on. If a Guardian happens to stare you down with that big, menacing laser beam, maybe just hop off the horse and go hide behind a tree or something.
5 Head Into ♋The Snow ⛄Without A Jumper
While most games will let you go anywhere and do whatever you want, Breath of the Wild focuses on this aspect. However, that doesn't mean that you can do it unprepared - environmental effects are prominent, and they'll catch you out if you're not careful.
If you try to venture into those snowy regions without a nice, thick jumper - well, Link will start shivering, and he'll slowly begin losing health. We know you want to see what's up there, but just grab a coat first. If you don't have one, then cook something spicy and keep yourself warm.
4 ﷽ Wear Metal In A Storm 🍃
This one should be obvious, but it isn't - until it catches you out. If you have picked up some good weapons and are having a grand time on your adventure, then everyone loves to see it - except mother nature, however.
If you're exploring the world and a storm begins, you might think it's quite cool. The moody atmosphere, the dull colors, the clouds closing in - wait, the sword on your back is sparking. Yeah, maybe take off any weapons from your person during a storm, unless you want a crispy Link with a side of regret.
3 Head To Death Mountain Wit꧟hout Preparing Properly
Similar to heading into the cold without protection or traveling through a storm with a big ol' metal target on your back, you should never head into the region of Death Mountain without the proper preparation.
How will you know when you're getting too close to the region? Well, you'll see less plant life, a fair bit more lava, and also an absolutely massive mountain spewing volcanic rocks. Oh, and you'll be on fire.
2 Try Pullin▨g Out The Master Sword... Again
You've navigated your way through the 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:weirdly horrific Lost Woods, and there it is - the Master Sword. You try pulling it out of the ground, but you can't quite manage it. It drains your life, and the Great Deku Tree will tell you that you aren't quite strong enough yet.
So do you know what you shouldn't do? Ignore the talking tree and try again. Look, he's a wise tree, and he's not going to stop you if you attempt to take the sword once more when you're unprepared. You'll drop dead on the spot, and the tree will stare and judge you.
1 Hit The Chicken𓃲
The rule of Zelda. The rule of a lot of games, but The Legend of Zelda takes this very seriously - ever since A Link To The Past. Those chickens - the little Cuccos that run around looking happy and enjoying their free-range life? Yeah, don't smack them.
"I do what I want" you might say, and hit them anyway, laughing to yourself as they run around - however, a storm is coming. If you persist, the chickens will exact their revenge, and it will be glorious. Okay, now you just w🃏ant to hit the chicken even more, right?
