As you m🌄ight expect from a type of card with a theme as broad as “places,” Landmarks have a wide range of effects. They can summon powerful followers, enhance your other cards, or act as defensive tools.
And just as their effects differ, so do their power levels. Some Landmarks almost never see play even as a meme, w𝄹hile others form the basis for entire archetypes. Here are some of the strongest Landmarks you can use in your decks.
10 𒁃 Star Spring
Any card that has “168澳洲幸运5开奖网:win the game” written on it has the pote🍌✅ntial to be dangerous, and Star Spring is no exception. Unlike, say, attacking or casting spells, which happens in basically every deck, healing is an effect that requires building around to make effective. The current Star Spring decks use Tahm Kench and Soraka, who are a one-two punch of self-damage and healing.
However, this strategy is far from dominating the meta. However, there’s always a danger that stronger healing cards being released in the future could push Star Spring into meta-breaking te🍰rritory.
9 ﷽ 🎶 Buried Sun Disc
The Buried Sun Disc might be the coolest Landmark in Legends of Runeterra. When its effect triggers, it transforms into the Restored Sun Disk, causing 🍷leveled up versions of the champions Azir, Nasus, Renekton, and Xerath to “Asce🎀nd.” Effectively, that means they level up a second time, gaining more stats and new, game-breaking effects.
Unfortunately, the Buried Sun Disc effectively must be run in a mono-Shurima deck. That makes it extremely dependent on how strong the region is overall. That said, if you do manage to restore the Sunꦑ Disc, any of 📖the Ascended Champions can win the game by themselves.
8 Ancient Preparations♕
A cheap tool that can fit into many decks, Ancient Preparations is the💙 ultimate utility card. It allows you to manipulate your draws with Predict, a keyword that lets you choose a card to put on top of your deck. Then, it summons a Clockling to help protect you from your enemies.
Those aren't exactly game-breaking effects, but the card gives you a lot of value in one, cheap package. It is especially useful in combo decks, since deck manipulation and defense are extremely important to such strategies.
7 Time Bomb
This Landmark can only be created by the Champion Zilean, who shuffles them into your deck and levels up when seeing them activate. Time Bomb is a way to level up Zilean and draw cards, but perhaps their greatest strength is as bo💖ard clears.
On its own, a single Time Bomb won't do much, but stacking them together will eviscerate opposing boards. If your opponent is trying to swarm the board with cheap minions, a couple of well-timed Time Bombs can truly hamstring their game plan.
6 Presevarium 𓃲
One of the simpler Landma🐽rks, Preservarium is an example of how valuable ♔highly efficient card draw is. As a result, it sees play across many different Shurima archetypes, since it turns out most decks want to draw cards.
It is often not suitable for 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:aggressive decks, who try to end the game as quickly as possible, but even they sometimes find room to fit it in. If you are playing a Shu💛rima deck that needs card draw, slotting in a few copꦬies of Preservarium could be exactly what you’re looking for.
5 💧 Blighted Ravine
This Landmark is a truly terrifying defensive tool. It has multiple useful effects. The 𓆏less important of these is healing your Nexus for four. That sounds like a small number, until you rememberꦇ that it actually equates to 20 percent of your Nexus’ health.
On top of that, you get a delayed board clear that can’t be countered except with Landmark destruction. If you are on the verge of death, the delay means Blighted Ravine likely won’t save you. It will, however, really throw a wrench into the plans of an aggressive deck that wants to spam th💖e board with cheap units. Put these effects together, and Blighted Ravine becomes an aggressive deck’s worst nightmare.
4 ꦦ Emperor’s Dais 🏅
The Emperor’s Dais is somewhat unusual for🦩 a Landmark, in that it doesn’t have a countdown effect. Instead, it grants a pe꧂rmanent aura, summoning a Sand Soldier whenever you attack.
The Dais is an easy addition to decks running Azir and Irelia, which revolve entirely around summoning one mana units and buffing them. Combining the many buffs the deck runs and the Sand Soldier's own ability, which deals an extra damage when it strikes an enemy Nexus, your opponents will quickly find themselves buried beneath the Shuriman sands.
3 Stasis Statue 𓆏
Stasis Statue isn’t a card you can play in your deck. Rather, it is created by Ancient Hourglass and its big brother, Servitude of Desolation. Of the tw𓆏o, Ancient Hourglass is by far the more common. For two mana, it allows you to destroy your own unit, imprisoning it within the statue.
Why would you want to do that? Well, if the unit was going to die anyway, the Hourglass effectively acts as a counterspell, saving your unit until next round. Obviously, it’s not quite as good as a꧟ true counterspell, but its cost makes it an excellent choice for decks that really need to protect specific units.
2 Fro꧙zen Thrall
Unsurprisingly, this Landmark is seen primarily in what are commonly known as “Thrall decks.” They are built around triggering your Frozen Thralls as early as possible, using cards like Harbinger of Thralls, Draklorn ജInquisitor, and Clockwork Curator, along with the Champion Taliyah, to advance their countdowns.
It’s not hard to see 💖why you might want to do that; an 8/8 with Overwhelm is deadly at any stage of the game, but in the early stages it is an unstoppable threat. If you want to overwhelm your enemies with a horde of monstrous beasts, give Frozen Thrall a try.
1 Ravenbloom Co🥂nservatory ཧ
Like✱ Frozen Thrall, Ravenbloom Conservatory is the sort of Landmark that spawns its own deck archetype. Once its countdown is triggered, you can summon Tybaulk, the demon that lives inside Annie’s teddy bear.
What does he do? Well, aside from being a 6/6 with overwhelm, Tybaulk also gives all allies everywhere plus one power and increases the damage of your spells and skills by one. This effect is permanent, and stacks if you play multiple Tybaulks. Once that happens, cards like Riptide Rex go from merely dealing a lot of damage, to dealing enough damage to kill your opponent several t🧔imes over.
