And if one of your other Chimes landed on Esmus, there is basically no chance of killing it. Aꦑll told, Esmus is an ex🐈ceptionally irritating card to play against, which means you probably want to run it in your own decks if you can.

Gwen is an interesting case. In theory, she&rsq🥂uo;s exceptionally powerful. Draining your opponent’s Nexus is a potent ability; it simultaneously brings them closer to death and keeps you safe from a counterattack.

However, the current decks she’s seeing play in haven’t cracked the highest tiers of the meta. They're playable, certainly, but far from overpowered. Still, it feels like Gwen has far more potential than that. If more Hallowed cards are released, don't be surprised if Gwen becomes a card you'll hate seeing in your opponent's deck.

There's nothing quite as satisfying as aiming a bunch of spells at your opponent's Nexus, then watching them concede in frustration. The Ravenbloom Conservatory can give you that feeling.

4 Jhin

One of League of Legends’ best champions, Jhin 𒈔gets a worthy representation in Legends of Runeterra. Simply by virtue of being in your deck, Jhin will begin planting Lotus Traps in your opponent’s deck. The Traps work toward leveling Jhin up and steadily begin chipping away at the enemy Nexus.

And once he’s leveled up, Jhin will quickly finiꦅsh the job. He deals four damage to the enemy Nexus every time he attacks, bringing the game to an end with raw damage. He’s arguably the strongest champion𝓀 in the game for aggressive strategies.

3 Illaoi

Did som𓆉eone say tentacles? No? Too bad. Illaoi brought several hꦆundred, and she’s eager to share them with you. Even unleveled, she can deal immense damage if you’ve spent the game boosting your Tentacle.

And if she’s actually allowed to level, she effectively wins the game on the spot against any deck that can’t remove her immediately (although, if they had the ability, they likely already would have done so). It's not uncommon to see Illaoi with over 20 health and power, along with a Tentacle of the same size. Good luck stopping that.

2 Bard

A player who is new to card games might not immediately recognize Bard&rsq💟uo;s power. Chimes only give ꦗone health and one power; how scary can they really be, right? Wrong. Chimes feel small individually, but even one Chime on the right unit can change the course of a game.

Adding stats to early units can allow you to outclass aggressive decks, effectively winning the game on turn one. And of course, once Bard levels up, his ability can stack buffs to turn even the smallest units into threats your o♒pponent has no choice but to deal with. His presence warps the game around him like a black hole.

Because if you leave a Kai’Sa deck to its own devices, you are effectively allowing your opponent to assemble Exodia. Once they have all the components—adding Spellshield, Overwhelm, and any other keyword that strikes their fancy to Kai'Sa—there’s basically nothing you can do but go to the top right of your screen, open the menu, and click surrender.
