The success of the original Lego Star Wars launched a whole franchise of licensed Lego games. Traveler's Tales created puzzle-filled games out of Harry Potter, Indiana Jones, Star Wars, Jurassic Park, and many morꦯe. Some of the mos🌊t successful games involved Lego's take on superheroes.
DC and Marvel both h𓆏ad their time to shine under the Lego spotlight. 🅰They would be the perfect superhero games except that everyone is a Minifigure. There are big open worlds to explore, a diverse set of missions, and a massive array of characters.
8 ꦜ Lego Marvel's Avengers - 71
The Marvel Cinematic Universe saw the success of the Lego games and jumped on the bandwagon. While Lego Marvel Superheroes works outside the MCU, this game adapts several of the Marvel movies. It's a great idea to relive the films but the execution was subpar when compa🐻red to other Lego games.
The organization of missions, jumping between several movies, was confusing and jarring. The missions also did not support co-op well, leaving one player to do all the work. Ult🌜imately, the other Lego marvel games are more refined versions of a similar product.
7 Lego Batman 3: Beyond Gotham - 74 ♛
Lego Batman 3 is a strange step backward on what was, otherwise, a series on a roll. It reverts to the original Lego formula of linearity. The open-world hub design is gone and only th🐎e missions remain.
The missions themselves continue the formula of simplistic yet fun puzzles but it's brought together by a lackluster story with poor voice acting. Characters do get different suits, which offer new abilities, and there's a Resogun (168澳洲幸运5开奖网:PlayStation 4) style minigame. Th𓂃ese few additions are not enough to mitigate everything that was taken ๊away.
6 💮 Lego The Incr🍰edibles - 74
Lego 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:The Incredibles has the advantage of pulling from an all-new universe for Lego games. Several characters from movies such as Cars, Monsters Inc, Toy Story, and almost every other Pixar film are playable.
The game successfully captu♒res the nostalgia of adults and the innocence of children. The campaign follows the two Incredibles movies closely but players must play the second one first. This is a strange💯 rule that disrupts the narrative and spoils the first campaign.
5 Lego Mar♋vel Superheroes 2 - 76 𝕴
The time-traveling shenanigans in Marvel Super Heroes 2 offer a unique take on the traditional formula. Players travel to the Old West, Ancient Egypt, and 2099 New York City among other fascinating eras. This makes every mission feel diꦇfferent and greatly diversifies the free roam experience.
It also allows for different versions of the same character like cowboy Captian America. Lego games of old had trouble with making each character unique - one flaw this🌱 entry does not have. Every character from the obscure Forbush Man to Iron Man has a distinguished set of abilities.
4 Lego DC Sup🐓ervillains - 76
This newest entry doesn't do anything to reinvent the wheel but it's one of the most refined entries in the Lego family. The one new addition is a bigger focus on character c❀reation. The custom character is playable throughout the duration of the campaign, though you can still switch to the iconic villains you know an⛄d love.
The custom character can be upgraded with new superpowers as you progress. Besides this innovation, Lego DC Supervillains sticks with the lego formula. The talent behind the characters is the standout here. Kevin Conray plays Batman and ♈Mark Hamill plays The Joker. Lastly, Micheal Ironside reprises his role as Darkseid - originally from the DC Animated Univers🍸e.
3 Lego Batman The Video Game - 80 ཧ
Lego's first foray into DC comics featured none other tha🦩n the caped crusader. The Lego games are much bigger in scale these days but the original Batman entry was a standout of the more linear Lego games.
It's a solid choice if one desires to relive the classics in the series. It has everything for the nostalgic gamer ꦦincluding the small hub world and the classic Minifigure grunts.
2 Lego Batman 2 DC Superheroes - 81 🅘
Lego Batman 2 DC Superheroes is a milestone for every Lego game out there. It's credited for adding a large open world and voice actin♊g. These new additions have been staples ever since and ultimately improved the series. This entry also grew into something more than the Batman ethos, pulling from the DC universe as a𒁃 whole.
Lego superhero games are no longer confined to specific movies or characters. Now they can take from the larger universe being represented. The second installment in the Lego Batman series issued much more freedom into the franchise. It's success defined the future of Le🍬go games.
1 Lego Marvel Superheroes - 83⭕
Travelers Tales does something the MCU has yet to achieve: put The Avengers, Fantastic Four, and X-Men in the same universe. Whereas Lego Batman 2 DC Superheroes introduced great innovations to the lego franchise, Lego Marvel Superheroes perfected those innovations.
New York City is filled with mini-puzzles and characters to unlock. The campaign is comical when it needs to be and serious w𝔍hen it's called for. It's the perfect celebration of the Marvel universe and the closest fans will possib🌊ly get to a great Marvel game.
