Frontier has announced ꧅another title coming to its Frontier Foundry label, and it's about to revolutionize the first-person shooter. Lemnis Gate is a turn-based combat strategy FPS game where you have to manipulate your actions within a time loop to defeat your opponent.

This exciting an🔯d unique concept makes you forced to t😼hink in new ways as you have just 25 seconds to make your move. You'll take turns with your opponent in 1v1 or 2v2 matchups that will test your brain as much as your aim.

There are five rounds in total and you'll need to select five unique characters with different skills to place in the time loop. During each round, you can set up ambushes, blast your enemy, or use some abstract thinking to develop a plan or fix a mistake. Every new character is placed in the same time loop, whiಞch will replay after every round.

Lemnis Gate's mind-melting time loop mechanics create a totally new way to defeat your enemies in close quarters combat. The combinations of moves and abilities combine to create more ꦇunique experiences that most games in the FPS genre. You'll need to think about your last move as much as your next move when considering how both will work together. Add to this what your opponent is doing, and you've got a big puzzle that creates a unique combination of mental and physical warfare.

The concept changes the way players think about teamwork, requiring them t꧅o co-operate with themselves as they plan the moves of five characters at once in what the team is calling "auto co-op" mode.

Lemnis Gate is being developed by Ratloop Games Canada, an independent studio based in Montreal, Canada who specializes in a "gameplay first" philosophy. They aim to disrupt the norm with innovative𒊎 and exciting new⭕ ideas. Their partnership with Frontier's new Frontier Foundry publishing arm allows the two studios to come together and create something that's truly groundbreaking.

Lemnis Gate is currently availabl👍e to wishlist on Steam and will be launching in early 2021 for PC, Xbox One, and Pla🎐yStation 4.
