Dash And Punch Combo
|
Victor w⛎ill crouch and 💖start the Dash and Punch combo.
|
Frustrated Blows - Melee
|
Arm Sweeps
|
The same as above, but Victor continues his sweeping ෴attac🐬ks four times instead of two and is not preceded by his yell.

Victor pulls his right fist back and deli🐬vers a low punch at short range.

The same as the melee variation, but Victor's right arm will go upward over his shoulder instead of horizontal across his torso.
|
Stay away from this attack by sprinting away.
|
Backhanded Strike (and Fury Variation)
|
With Victor's hand over his shoulder, he'll bring his hand down once for a closer, less powerful strike. He'll then spin once and follow up with a second, more powerful and greater-ranged blow of a backhanded armsweep. This attack is only sometimes a Fury attack.
|
Open-Handed Lunge Combo (Rare)
|
Open-Handed Lunge
|
Victor raises his right hand up with his palm open. He then lunges forward, swinging with a right hook downward. It triggers a rare combo, but more often, it is by itself. The combo variation of this move has a much shorter range and does not have a hop beforไe his attack.

In this combo, stay away by sprinting away.

Left-Handed Gut Punch
|
Much like his normal gut punch, but this is dealt with his left hand instead o♔f his right.

|
Sprint away from this attack as soon as you see Victor's hand raise near his head. Continue sprinting around him on this right side. Get close and behind him as his second fury attack starts to wind down. After the gut punch, use a strong attack on him from behind.

|
Grab
|
Victor🐟 will yell like he does with his Frustrated Combo, holding both his hands up and yelling. When he grabs, however, he lunges forward with his left hand, pulling you toward his chest. This attack leaves him unbalanced. If caught, Victor punches his victim several times and stomps on them once before letting them go.
|
When you see the cue, sprint away from him or dodge forward and right (riskierﷺ).
|
Open-Handed Lunge

Victor raises his rig🔜ht hand up with his palm open. He then lunges forward, swinging with a right hook downward. The comboless version of this move is preceded by a single hop and a step backward before the lunge.

Champion Victor's attacks are what you'd expect for any boss themed after a wrestler or ring-fighter. Primarily relying on fist-based attacks and melee combat, Victor is a heavy-weight hardhitter with limited rangꦑed options and pun♉ishments for the arrogant.
Beyond his melee attacks, Victor must use launching techniques to reach you when you're far away. He also rarely runs and insists on walking everywhere.
Victor is right-handed and will primarily strike with his right hand on most attacks. There are a few exceptions with some foot-based attacks and rare left-hand action, but it's safe to say that Victor will spend most of his time using his right arm.
This means that you'll have an advantage in dodging to the right and staying on his left side.
You won't want to get hit by most of his attacks, so it's best to do a dance with Victor in the ring - give hits in his openings and dash back out. Never 🐭overstay your welcome as moves like Backswing and his fast Uppercut w🦂ill punish you.
There are a few moves where you'll want to take advantage of the openings:
-
Dash and Punch combo
-
Uppercut (Fury)
-
Open-Handed Lunge
-
Left-Hook (Fury)
-
Flying Kick (Fury)
-
Smash
However, the best move with the widest window for punishment is his Champion's Fury combo. Be warned: it is also his most dangerous move.
You do not want to try and block his Champion's Fury combo unless you've spent years drinking Nioh 2 and Sekiro like double-shot espressos. The best thing to do with this attack combo is to sprint away as soon as you see Victor's hand raise and hear, if it triggers, his taunt.
After Victor does his gut-punch attack, there will be a window wide enough for even the heaviest and slowest Motivity builds to land a strong attack. Flee after to avoid his Backswing follow-up.

All of Victor's attacks in Phase Two are mostly the same. The caveat here is that many of his combos now have one additional move at the end of them.
The most dangerous of these changes are in his Charging Rush and Champion's Fury Combo.
The Charging Rush now has three iterations instead of one. This means: once he completes one dash and uppercut toward you, he'll turn and do it again two more times.
If you remember the charging bull miniboss near the entrance to the Malum District, you'll find this part of the fight will be very similar. Like with that miniboss, you'll want to dodge (to the right) as he passes and continue until he runs out of steam.
He does like to use this move to begin his attacks in Phase Two, so be prepared for this move straight out o🐭f the gate.
His Champion's Fury combo now has a sixth move. It is delayed. This is a trap to punish players who got used to his combo in Phas💃e One.
You can still get your strong attack in, however. Just wait for the new, sixth move in the combo to pass before attacking.
Another new combo can be punished: Ascended Slam. Although the Slam was alrea🅘dy a good move for punishing in Phase One, it is doubly so now.
You will have the opportunity to land another strong attack against this, and possibly more depending on your build. Just wait until both of his fists hit the ground to punish him.

Champion Victor's fight will be easiest for Technique builds and hardest for heavy Motivity builds. This is because:
-
Victor's weight and high stagger meter means that Motivity builds cannot consistently rely on their heavy attacks to stagger him.
-
Victor's long combos are difficult to Perfect Guard and can break your character's poise.
-
This fight is best done with sprinting and dodging, best suited for builds with high Stamina (and high regeneration).
Regardless, both builds can succeed in this endeavor without a spectre by approaching th🌌is fight with patience and caution.
A spectre, however, is a massive benefit and will cause Victor to become a pushover. This is because he has very few attacks that cover him from behind. Once his focus is on the spectre, you'll have ample opportunity to punish him from behind.
Although Master of Puppets called for aggression and forward movement, Victor's fight will require you to wait for your moment. He 🎀has highly telegrap🍰hed attacks and consistent combos that stay in melee range.
Dodging will be required far more than blocking, though you can (and where possible) attempt Perfect Guarding his forward attacks like his fury attack: Flying Kick.
Because Champion Victor is right-handed, you should stay far on his right side. When dodging through attacking, you should attempt to d🧸o so forward and on his right side.
Most openings will only allow for one attack in Motivity builds and only a small handful in Technique builds. Do not get greedy with Victor; his high damage won't make the exchange worth it.
Any items you have, preferably Thermite and Sawblades, should be left until you're near the end of Phase Two to close out the fight and conserve resources for harder bosses and challe💙nges.
Eventually, you'll put Champion Victor into the grave for good.
