Well, it is time to face the music: we've now reached 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Lies Of P's first boss. All things told, the Parade Master isn't actually a particularly tough boss. However, when you encounter him you likely won't fully have your Lies Of P legs under you. Ultimately, the Parade Master is sort of a pop quiz.
So, what exactly is on this pop quiz, then? Well, how to effectively utilize your🧸 Perfect Guard will be a big part of it, but also, learning when to dodge is another important aspect. Thankfully, we can walk you through this entire encounter and 𝄹ensure you ace this test!
Parade Master's Attacks
The Parade Master has a few attack patterns, but one of its primary combos sees the puppet launch straight linear punches, often alternating from left to right. They often come in groups of three. As you see the Parade Master winding up, prepare to Perfect Guard the attack. Don't tap furiously, as that will get you hit. Instead, guard just as the attack is about to land. Start by erring on the side of caution, and gradually tighten your timing.
When you see the Parade Master bring both of his arms together in the air, he is about to perform a slash with both of them simultaneously. This attack hits all around the Parade Master's front side (so if you manage to get behind him, you are safe). Watch the hands. Once they start to move downward, prepare to block or dodge through the attack.
While this attack does hit everything in front of the Parade master, it is relatively stubby, so you can als🍌o just hop away.
Another attack the Parade Master likes to use is a big ol' belly flop. This attack is pretty slow, and he hangs in the air for quite a while, so it is easy to time. This makes for a reliable Perfect Guard opportunity. Make sure to attack him while he is on the ground.
Second Phase Attacks
The Parade Master will get some new tricks once he enters his second phase. After his belly flop attack, while he gets up, he will perform a spinning attack. He will also perform an attack where he raises his club above his head before hopping forward twice and slamming it down on yours. He will always hop forward twice before slamming the club down, so use that to time the attack!
The biggest change is that he will perform spinning attack combos now. These often come in batches of three and are easy to dodge, but he does have one fakeout attack where he will raise the club over his right shoulder, leading you to believe that he is going to swing to the left, only to spin 360 degrees around and swing at you from the right. It is super tricky, so you may just want to default to blocking ⛎when you see him raise his club up.
Furious Attack
The Parade Master's Furious Attack is a giant overhead swing. It will pause for a solid second before it brings its fists down on you. You can time this attack up for a Perfect Guard, but another option is to just run away.
During the second phase, he will perform this attack more often, and due to the club in his hands, its range will be considerably better. You still have enough time to sprint away, but the timing will be a little tighter. However, the Perfect Guard timing is largely unchanged.
Parade Master Strategy
Staggering Enemies |
Just before we get started, we thought we would quickly clarify how the stagger system works for players starting off. As you land attacks, or Perfect Guard an enemy's attack, you will build their stagger. Once their health bar glows white they are in a staggerable state. Landing a charged heavy attack will then stagger them. Now, stand in the glowing red circle and press forward and li🍰ght attack to dish out a massive amount of 🔯damage!
The Parade Master will charge in with a shoulder tackle. In general, when you get distance from the Parade Master, it will try to get close to you using this attack. The spacing of this one can be a little tricky, so, we would recommend just blocking it normally, a light attack will regain any life lost quickly.
You can run away from the Parade Master and heal yourself throughout most of this fight. But get ready for that shoulder charge if you do, as that is the Parade Master's favorite tool for getting in close again.
Now, he is going to attack you with a bunch of straight punches. Before he hits you with one, he will wind up, so you will have plenty of time to prepare for a Perfect Guard. If you are using a light weapon, you will always have time to land a light attack in between these punches.
Once he finishes his punch combo you will get one of three ending🥃s...
- He will perform his double slash attack, which is easy to dodge through.
- He will use his belly flop, which is easy to Perfect Guard.
- Or he will use his Furious Attack, which isn't too hard to Perfect Guard, but you can just run away from it if you aren't comfortable trying to Perfect Guard it.
All of these options will leave him vulnerable afterward. So, charge up a heavy attack, and prepare to deal some♈ damage.
Once you have damaged the Parade Master enough, he will throw down his cage and obtain a club. While he is doing this, take advantage of the downtime: heal up and sharpen your weapon. He still performs a lot of similar attacks in this phase, but now he i♈s more aggressi꧙ve.
Get ready for the barrage of spinning attacks. Dodge in💖to them (toward the direction he is holding his club as he winds up), and then land a light attack, before repeating this step for the next swing. Like with the punches, he will typically swing three times.
Just like during the first phase, after the three-attack combo, he will perform the same moves, though now he will perform a spin attack when getting up from the Belly Flop, and instead of the double-handed slash, it is an overhead slash w♓ith his club (which operates the same way).
The tempo of this encounter picks up pretty dramatically in the second phase, but as long as you stay sharp, and follow the game plan, you will put an🌌 end to this pup🌌pet once and for all.
Rewards For Slaying The Parade Master
As a reward for killing your first boss, you will get Quartz and the Parade Leader's Ergo. While you can use the Parade Leader's Ergo to gain a huge amount of Ergo to level up, this is a special Rare Ergo that can also be exchanged for a unique weapon or accessory down the line. We strongly recommend holding onto it.
As for the Quartz, that is a special material which will be used to upgrade your P-Organs, that will unlock once you beat the third boss of the game. Quartz is one of the most valuable items in the game, so hold onto it!
