By the time you encounter the Scrapped Watchman in 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Lies Of P, you will already have taken out two bosses. However, both of them were mere appetizers. This encounter is your first true boss fight. The good news is that your encounter with the Parade Master will have prepared you well for this fight. The bad news is that the Scrapped Watchman is considerably more menac🌟ing than that foe.
We'll walk you through this encounter, help identify all the attacks you need to worry about, tell you how to best deal with each one, and provide you with the best general approach for retiring this robot once and for all. Let's help the Scrapped Watchman live up to his name, shall we?
Scrapped Watchman's Attacks

The Specter |
This will be the first fight you can summon the Specter to help with. This is Lies Of P's version of summoning a friend. The Specter is an NPC who will fight alongside you.
They aren't particularly strong, so you don't want them to try to tank the Watchman for you. Instead, it is better for you to try and draw his attention while the Specter gets a few hits in from behind.
Their aid is completely optional. They exist to act as the Lies Of P's easier difficulty setting. However, if you are having a rough go of things, don't be afraid to call in a little help!
The Scrapped Watchman will swing his arm around in the air multiple times before bringing it down on your head. Once he puts the opposite hand down on the ground, you know he is about to bring that first down on you. The Scrapped Watchman will also alternate between relatively quick swiping punches. He will often start with these swiping attacks before ending with one of the aforementioned spinning slam attacks.
He also has a sweeping attack that has a longer windup but hits considerably harder. You know this attack is coming when he extends his arm out and holds it there.
The Scrapped Watchman will also reel back and then lunge forward with a lancing punch. If you areꦓ strafing as he does this, this attack will sometimes 🌼miss.
Watch out, during the second leg of the fight, if you see the Watchman spinning his wrist, he is going to swing his arm at you and try to grab you. If he does, he will slam you into the ground multiple times. It is best to roll through this one.
Furious Attacks
The Scrapped Watchman's Furious Attack will see him windmill both of his arms, while he stumbles forward, before bringing them down on your head. He will use this attack frequently after he uses two of his standing spinning punches and swiping punches.
During the second leg of the fight, the Scrapped Watchman will leap into the air and cannonba༒ll down on top of you. This is another Furious Attack and requires a Perfect Guard.
Finally, the Scrapped Watchman will jump straight up into the air before landing on the ground on all fours and causing all the pools of electric energy to erupt all over the arena. Once again, you will need to Perfect Guard this one. Though, you can also sprint away relatively easy.
Scrapped Watchman's Strategy
The first thing to know is that the Scrapped Watchman isn't THAT different from the Parade Master. Remember the alternating straight punches from the Parade Master? Well, the Scrapped Watchman has those too, he just winds up for longer. Better yet, it is easier to time the blocks, as he places his other hand down just before he slams his fist down.
Similarly, just like the Parade Master, the Scrapped Watchman has swiping attacks which will alternate from arm to arm. And his Furious Attack is a two-handed overhead attack. The Parade Master fight prepared you to face off against the Scrapped Watchman's first phase.
But there are key differences that you need to keep note of. For starters, the Watchman's limbs are much, much longer. So, while sprinting around the combat arena is still viable here, especially when the Watchman is winding up one of their big punches, you are going to want to pick your shots, as youౠ run the risk of g💦etting tagged while retreating.
As you progress through Lies Of P you will find that there are a number of attacks that you are better off dodging through, as they cause too much delay when you block them. The Scrapped Watchman doesn't have any attacks like that. Nearly every attack is ideally resolved by Perfect Guarding.
That being said, we suggest Perfect Guarding those swinging punches, as they are easy to time, and dodging through the swiping attacks, as they can be trickier to Perfect Guard. Your dodge attack has tons of invulnerability frames, so put them to use and dodge right through his sweeping arms.
You will want to learn to block the Furious Attack, but this is quite easy. He goes upright just before he slams his fists down. Once you see both fists in the air, prꦦess the guard button the instant they start to descend.
As for when you get your hits in, after every sequence of attacks, the Scrapped Watchman will become vulnerable. After his Furious Attack? Vulnerable. After his swiping attack combos? Vulnerab✤le. After his backhand and spear attack? You get the idea...
The Scrapped Watchman's Second Phase
Once you have taken half of the Scrapped Watchman's life away, he will discharge a huge amount of electricity. Keep an eye out on his health and get some distance when you are nearing this point.
Once the Scrapped Watchman has electrified itself, it will start leaving pools of electric energy behind after every attack that slams its fist down on the ground. These will erupt in electric energy after a few seconds. This means that even if you Perfect Guard the Scrapped Watchman's attack, you will need to move, as the spot you are standing on is about to explode.
As for new attacks, the Watchman will acquire two new Furious Attacks. He will now leap into the air and cannonball on top of you, and leap into the air, land on all fours, and cause electric puddles to explode. There isn't much of a delay to these attacks, which does mean that they aren't too hard to Perfect Guard (as there is nothing to throw your timing off).
If the Scrapped Watchman leaps into the air, you can run, gౠet൲ distance, and heal yourself.
He also gains a grab attack. This one is dangerous. If you see him raise his arm, and spin his wrist, he is about to grab you. Make sure you dodge through this one! It is the easiest way to get around it, and you don't want to be caught by this attack!
So then, what is the approach for this second round? Well, it is pretty much the same as the first. The only difference is that you need to make sure you don't stand on those electrified puddles. He will frequently be vulnerable after he performs a combo or a Furious Attack. So, take advantage, and stay on him, and you will clear this encounter.
Rewards For Slaying The Scrapped Watchman
You will be rewarded handsomely for completing this encounter. Not only will you obtain a number of treasures, such as the Quartz, Core, Broken Hero's Ergo, and a Small Wooden Officer Puppet, but you will also get the "Overcharged Storage Battery" which will 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:allow you to upgrade your P-Organs!
