The only edges the regular Caestus has is a lower equip load and Dexterity requirement, and most of the time the benefits of the Spiked Caestus will outweigh 🔯those extremely minor downsides. 7 🅠 Great Knife (Wei♐ght: 1.5)

The is in a strange spot. It comes with innate Bleed buildup, which is always nice, but there are better Daggers that can also inflict that status effect. The Reduvia is the obvious example, but the Great Knife is also beaten out by the Bl💯oodstained Dagger on almost every Affinity. There i൲s one notable exception, though: Keen.

If you want a🔯 Dexterity-based Dagger that can cause Bleed, the Great Knife is for you. How difficult it is to get will vary; the Bandit class starts with the Great Knife, but other classes will need to farm for it. The weapon is a rare drop from the Demi-Humans carrying it across the Lands Between.

6 🥂 Dagger (Weight: 1.5)

The basic can’t compete with the fancier members of 🧜its weapon class in terms of damage. However, it does have an abnormally high Critical Damage modifier of 130, being outpaced only by the Miséricorde. Most of the time, you’ll want to opt for the higher-tier option, but the Miséricorde does have more stringent requirements than its basic counterpart, costing you 0.5 weight and requiring two additional le෴vels in Strength, and three in Dexterity.

If you want a high-Critical Damage option, and for whatever reason can’t meet one of those requirements, the Dagge𓆉r is a decent alternative. The easiest way to get it is by buying it from the Twin Maiden Husks in the Roundtable Hold. Alternatively, or if you want more than one, the Dagger drop from the Highwaymen and Foot Soldiers you can find in many of Elden Ring's locations.

It scales exceptionally well when Keen infused, gettin♒g the high♒est damage of any Dagger. Additionally, it causes a certain amount of chip damage through Shields, a useful ability in a wide variety of scenarios. However, those benefits might not outweigh the hassle of farming for the weapon. It is an extremely rare drop from the blue-clad Celebrants in Dominula, Windmill Village in the northern Altus Plateau.

4 𓆏 Glintstone Kris (Weight: 1.5)

There are a surprising number of Daggers in Elden Ring that scale with Intelligence, and the is both the lightest and strongest of the three. While it doesn’t have the best raw damage, its unique Weapon Skill, Glinstone Dart, is exceptionally 𓆉powerful.

You’ll need to jump through some hoops to get it, though; it can only be obtained by finishing Sorceress Selen's questline and taking her side.

The is a Faith-scaling Dagger, and has an in-game twin in another Dagger, the Black Knife. The main selling points of both weapons are their Weapon Skills: Blade of Gold and Blad𒊎e of Death, respectively. These unique skills launch you into the ꧃air and fire off a long-range projectile.

The Black Knife's variant is going to perform better against bosses thanks to its health-reduction and damage over time debuffs. However, Blade of Gold beats it out in terms of instant damage, making it better against weak enemies. Unfortunately, the Blade🐼 of Calling is a relatively late-game weapon. You won’t be able to access it until you’ve beaten Morgott and unlocked theไ elevator leading to the Forbidden Lands. The Raptor Talons are also the best Claws when it comes to damage with the Occult Affinity. It loses out to the Venomous Fang when comparing raw attack🐬 power, but the innate Bleed damage of the Raptor Talons will give them the edge unless the enemy is immune to Bleed. This fascinating weapon is hidden within the invisible wall-filled confines of the Sage’s Cave, which you can access shortly after arriving in the Altus Plateau.

The weapon really only has one major flaw, and it is, unfortunately, not a small one. The Cipher Pata deals exclusively Holy dama🌳ge, arguably the worst damage type in Elden Ring. Many late game bosses have high resistances to it, with some being almost completely immune. And while quite a few of Elden Ring’s weapons suffer from this problem, most of them deal at least some percentage of Physical damage. The weapon can still be useful in 🉐PvP or against non-resistant bosses, though, and it's not especially hard to get. It's in the hidden area of the Roundtable Hold, accessed by jumping over the railing near where Sorcerer Rogier rests.
