Once again, I’m sorely jealous of anybody who owns a Steam Deck. I’ve wanted one since forever, and 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:am finally considering purchasing one. Not just because the Steam Deck OLED looks really good, but because I’ve been itching to take my Steam library with me on the go. I have a ton of games on Steam that I’m hoping to work my way through during 2024’s emptier months, though 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:the way the year is going, I may not have the time after all.ꦑ I have remote play on Playstation and Xbox, of course, but those require strong Wi-Fi connections to use that the Steam Deck doesn’t – I ju♋st want to be able to play games on the train.
That feeling has only gotten stronger since learning that Like A Dragon: Infinite Wealth is now Steam Deck verified, meaning it’ll work great on the Steam Deck without you having to make any tweaks or alterations to the game. I’ve been playing the heck out of Infinite Wealth, partly for work, but mostly because it was my most anticipated game of 2024. I love it so far, de🉐spite not having the context of the earlier games to ground me in the game’s story – the sub-stories are as kooky as ever, there are a ton of diff💞erent game genres packed into this single RPG, and the characters I’m meeting are distinctive and dare I say, iconic.

I Don't Think I'll Ever Go Back To Non-Turn Based Yakuza Again
Auto-battle in turn-based combat is the🎀 best thing for a lazy dude like me
My one gripe is that I can’t take it with me. I’ve been playing on my PS5, which is giving me a great ওexperience – the game looks amazing – but again, Playstation Remote Play requires a strong internet connection for cloud play. The Steam Deck is a portable PC and so installs games directly, bypassing that requꦅirement. I would actually be able to take the game with me wherever I go, and not just wherever I have Wi-Fi.
Normally, I wouldn’t want to play a Like A Dragon game on the go at all. Historically, I’ve found the game’s combat unwieldy and difficult, and playing on a smaller screen would only make that worse, since I barely manage on my gigantic television screen. But Infinite Wealth, like its predecessor Yakuza: Like A Dragon, 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:is turn-based, making it perfect for the Steam Deck. There are no huge, complicated, time-dependent battles requiring quick reflexes that a smaller screen would disadvantage you with. Everything is on your time, apart from the quick-time prompts you can press when using skills to d💃eal more damage.
Trust me, Infinite Wealth would be great on Steam Deck, especially if you have the OLED. I was already considering making it my year’s big purchase, but knowing I can play favourite game right now on a screen it’ll actually look really good on, on public transport, without the fuss of fiddling with settings to get it to work better, is making me really worry about the state of my bank balance this year𓆏. I love playing Infinite Wealth with my butt planted in bed, but I’d also love to hang out with Kasuga and friends while I’m on long commutes. I need to learn some self-control.
