This article covers a developing story. Continue to check back with us as we will be adding more information as it becomes available.

You'd think that with another game already in development, we wouldn't see Yakuza developer Ryu ga Gotoku Studios show up at the Xbox Games Showcase, but the mad lads absolutely did. With a surprise trailer for Like a Dragon 8, we finally have a proper name: Like a Dragon: Infinite Wealth. Better yet, we even got an idea of where the story is heading, taking our beloved protagonist Ichiban Kasuga to the US, as he seemingly washes up on a beach in the buff.

We know that he's in the US thanks to the many bewildered and impressed locals also hanging out (not literally) on the beach, and Kasuga looks very confused as to where he is and why he's ended up there. To top it all off, we also get a release date for the game, although it isn't particularly specific. Like a Dragon: Infinite Wealth is expected to launch at some point in Early 2024.

We didn't see much else about the title, but it will likely have everything we've come to expect from the Like a Dragon series - previously known as Yakuza in the West. We also don't know where Ichiban's crew are or whether they're in trouble, as Ichiban washes up on the beach by himself. Seeing as though the game is launching at some point in Early 2024, we'll likely learn more soon, possibly at the Ryu Ga Gotoku Studios showcase that takes place next week.

With another trailer for the eighth mainline game, Like A Dragon: Infinite Wealth, that now means Ryu Ga Gotoku Studios has two Like A Dragon games currently in deep development. Like A Dragon Gaiden: The Man Who Erased His Name will be the first out the door, a smaller title that recounts the actions of the previous protagonist Kazuma Kiryu during the time between Yakuza 6 and Yakuza: Like A Dragon. That game was shown off duri✤ng Summer Game Fest earlier this week,ꦯ and was revealed to have a release date of November 19.

Now, we of course have Like A Dragon 8. Or as it's now known: Like A Dragon: Infinite Wealth. This will be a much bigger game, and one that will bring Kazuma Kiryu and Ichiban Kasuga together for a joint story. We had seen very little of this title before today, with just the one teaser trailer to try and rinse information from, but at least we now know that it should be an Early 2024 release. Oh, and we have naked Kasuga to keep us going.

As for what else was announced during the Xbox Games Showcase, we got 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:the fir😼st prop🧔er trailer for the new Fable game, the official a🌱nnouncements of both Persona 3 Reload and Persona 5 Tactica, and a release window for Obsidian Entertainment's highly anticipated fantasy RPG Avowed.
