In comparison to Chapter 1 of 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Little Nightmares, the Lair in Chapter 2 is much longer. It will also be more mechanics intensive, meaning you will need to quicken your reflexes and know the controls well. This chapter is less puzzle focused and instead is timing and stealth orientated.
Throughout this chapter, you will have multiple run-ins with the Janitor. He will pursue Six multiple times, and if you aren’t quick on your feet, you will have a hard time escaping him. There are many ways to solve some of the puzzles you will e꧙ncounter, but this guide will focus on the easiest and fastest way to do so, while still gathering all the collectibles.
Hug A Nome For Good Luck
After you finish Chapter 1, you wil▨l find yourself on a wooden platform with a staircase to the back of the screen. Follow this staircase to the next platform and go through the doorway into the office-🥃like room.
Climb onto the desk and light the lantern. Next, climb down and push the chair onto the dirt-stained tile. This will trigger a door to open. Grab the door and pull it all the way open before entering the room. There is a strange-looking desk in the middle of the room. Run behind the desk. You will scare a Nome who will run back towards the room you came from. It might be d♈ifficult to spot it because the room is quite dark.
Follow the Nome back the way you came until you reach the staircase you passed to enter the office area. You will see the Nome standing and waiting for you here. It will run up the staircase. Follow it until it stops and then hug it.
Now To Break A Statue For Fun
Follow the next staircase until you reach another platform with a locked door. Climb the box next to the door and go through theཧ hole. You will find yourself in a bedroom.
Climb the toilet pot behind you. Climb up onto the back of the toilet pot and then jump up to the basin. From here you will need to jump to the cupboard. This can be quite tricky and might take multiple tries as you will have to jump sideways and grab hold on the front of the cupboard.
Climb to the top of the cupboard. Move to the right to get a running start and jump to the shelf on your left. Pull yourself up and use your lighter to spot the Geisha statue in the corner. Throw it from the shelf to break it.
Getting The Key From The Desk
Jump back down to the cupboard. From here, jump down onto the pile of books on the desk. From here you can jump down again, grab the key, and then jump from the desk to the ground.
If this proves too difficult, you can also drag the suitcase on the ground to the lever on the right side of the room. Use the suitcase to climb, so you can pull the lever down. This will trigger a bed to fold out from the wall. You can use the bed to get to the key. But this method is more time-consuming.
Pick ♛up the key and go through the secret doorway to your right. You will see the cut-out of the doorway in the wallpaper.
Walk across the room and throw the key up onto the step near the next door.ജ Climb up and use the key💎 to open the padlock on the door.
Walking Right Into A Trap
In the next room, pick up the toy monkey and stand near the button on the right side of the room. Toss the monkey so that it hits the bu♕tton. This should activate an elevator.
Pick up the toy monkey while you wait for the elevator to open. Take it in with you and use it to throw at the button inside the lift to close the doors. Once the elevator stops, go through the open door. Six will kneel over due to hunger pangs after a few steps. Quickly make your way to the next room.
You will see a piece of meat in a cage. Go into the cage and eat it. An arm will come from above and shut the cage with your character inside. Do not panic as this is part of the story and your screen will fade to black.
Encountering The Janitor Again
Six will wake up in a cage. Wait for the cut scene to pass, and you regain control of your character. Sprint back and forth in the cage. Each time you hit the left side of the cage; it will move closer to the edge. Do this until the cage falls off, and you will be able to crawl out.
Squeeze through the small gap in the door to your immediate left. Light the lantern before going back through the small gap.
Grab the last cage on the right (there is a child inside) and pull it towards the handle hanging from the ceiling. Pull it onto the dirt splatter for the most accurate position. Climb the cage, so you can jump and hold onto the handle. A door will open to your right. Swing back and forth while holding the handle. Swing as close to the door as you can before 🥀jumping and either run or sl🧸ide into the next room.
Your timing needs to be good, as the door will begin to shut as soon as you let go of the handle.
Once the door closes when you have made it into the next room, climb it. Once you reach the top, light the candle next to the bathtub.
Go through the hole into the next room and walk until you spot the Janitor. Crouch down and try to quickly sneak by him. Remember, he is blind but has very good hearing. He will turn around at the sound of the floor creaking. Try to be on the right side of the Janitor when this happens as you will now need to sprint to the next room. He will chase you.
There is a small hole near the door at the end of the room; go through that opening. Depending on your speed in the previous room, the Janitor might follow you into the next room (if you were fast enough, he won’t follow you). If this happens, crouch down and stay out of his reach. Do not touch anything as he will hear you.
Once the Janitor leaves (or if he did not follow you at all), pick up the handle on the floor and insert it into the mechanism on the wooden pillar. Turn the handle and this should open the door on the floor to your right.
The Janitor will come back into the room due to the noise. As soon as the door is open, run and jump in.
Escaping The Abominable Shoe Monster
Follow the tunnel until you reach a drop-down with a suitcase. Here you will find the next lantern that you can light.
Using your lighter to find it, climb the ladder on the wall behind the suitcase. You will see a Nome once you reach the top. Move towards the Nome and follow it through the tunnel as it runs away. It will eventually stop running in the next room. Hug the Nome and then jump into the hole behind it.
After going through the tunnel, you will find yourself on a suitcase in a room filled with shoes. There is a monster hidden in the shoes that will kill you if you're caught. There are a total of four suitcases you need to get on to make it out safely.
Move as far back on the suitcase as you can before running and jumping as far out as you can. Quickly move to the next suitcase as this will give you a big head start. Climb up onto the suitcase and repeat the process until you make it to the exit at the other end of the room.
The Janitor Does Not Know When To Quit
The next room should be uneventful. Quickly make your way across until your reach the steps at the entrance of the room after. Immediately sprint to the right side of your screen, as the Janitor will drop from the ceiling and chase you. Remember to slide under any pipes in your path.
Once you enter the elevator, go to the right side of the room and crawl into the open box at the bottom of the pile. The Janitor will enter after you and start the elevator. Stay there until the elevator stops and wait for the Janitor to leave before entering the next room.
Go to the right side of t🍰he box and push it t♒o the left of the screen. Walk over to where the toy monkey is, and you will drop through the floor into the basement.
Move away from this area as quickly as possible as the monkey will begin to make noise and alert the Janitor of your presence.
Follow the basement until you reach the third and last room. At the farthest end of the room, you will find a Geisha statue to your left. Break it.
Stealthing Past The Janitor
Go back to the previous room and climb up the small ladder near the monkey toy above while the Janitor is in the adjoining room. Make sure the room is empty before picki🀅ng up⭕ the monkey toy and tossing it as far back into the room as possible.
Once the Janitor runs into the room, sneak through the hole in the wall.
Crouch down and walk behind the dolls in the foreground, carefully avoiding knocking over any toys. Climb the chest of drawers as quickly as possible. A pot will fall off while you climb and alert the Janitor of your presence. He will come back into the room. Once you make it to the൩ top, push the box blocking the hole and climb through.
Follow the tunnel until you reach the next room, just in time to see a creature exiting upwards. Walk on the carpets 𓆏to get across the room to avoid making any noise.
When you go to push the door open, it will fall over along with a huge clock. This will make a lot of noise and alert the Janitor of your location. Sprint across the room and crouch underneath the button to hide. Wait there until the Janitor moves to the༒ other side of the room𓃲.
Crawl and quietly pick up one of his shoes before heading back to stand near the button. Wait until the clock bells ring and then throw the shoe against the button so that he does not hear you. Quickly run into the next room.
Immꦑediately begin sprinting towards the screen as the Janitor will chase you again. Go through the door to the left of your screen to escape him.
So Many Books, So Little Time…
You will enter a room filled with books. Get your lighter out and walk to the back of the room. Crawl under the desk and a Nome will run out. It will hide behind a stack of books near the door you just came through.
You won’t be able to spot it but have Six go behind ♋the books and attempt to hug it until you hear the tone go off to indicate that you ♔have done so successfully.
Go back to the table and jump on top of it. Climb the bookcase behind it until your reach the top. Light the candle here before jumping across to the piano. When the piano swings closer to the bookcase on your left, jumꦰp across and climb it upwards.
Run back and forth across the piano keys until you see the save icon appear in the bottom right corner of the screen. This will unlock the Six’s Song achievement.
You will see the Janitor on the platform above. Wait until he moves further away before climbing up. Crouch down and follow the Janitor into the library. He will spot you if you do not crouch. Climb the bookcase 🌊closest to you once the Janitor has moved further𝕴 away.
Stay crouched as you make your way towards the abridging plank and climb up on the shelf behind you. Go and light the candle at the edge of the shelf.
When you drop back down, Six will knock down the building blocks, which will alert the Janitor. He will reach up and begin to feel around. Quietly cross both planks without disturbing any of the items as you head to the right of your screen. You wi𝓰ll be able to climb down to the ground from here.
Once ꧃on the ground, climb the pile of books on the wall across the hallway and go through the hole at the top.
Pick up the handle on the ground near the suitcase and place it near the door. Go back and turn on the television by turning the white knobs. Immediately run back to the entrance and pick up the handle. Wait for the Janitor to come into the room. Once he enters, sneak out behind him.
Run underneath the bookcase by the table closest to you. You will see a candle on the bottom shelf of the next bookcase. Quickly drop the handle and light the candle. Pick up ❀the handle once again and sprint along the hal𒉰lway until you find yourself back at the entrance.
Insert the handle into the mechanism in the wooden pillar and turn it until the piano comes ꦯup. Jump onto the piano and wait for it to swing slightly to the other side before jumping across again and going through the hole.
Another Run-In With The Janitor
You will land on a cart as you drop into the next room. Pull the cart forward before going behind it and pushing it along the tracks until it covers the steam in the middle of the room. Jump across before pulling the cart until it reaches the end of the tracks. Climb onto ✅the cart and jump for the door handle.
Do not let go of the door handle until the door is fully open.
Run across the platform until you encounter another hole. Go through it and follow the tunnel until you spot a lantern. It will be next to a pipe, so it will be easy to miss if you are not looking. Light the lantern.
Crouch and slowly move forward until the Janitor sticks his hand through a crack in the wall. Stay out of his arm’s reach. Once the Janitor touches the pipe closest to you and begins to move his hand upwards, st𝄹ay crouched and quickly move past him until you reach the next roo💮m.
Be prepared to run as the door will rattle as soon as you make it into the next room. Run, as the Janitor will give chase. Make note of the cage blocking the door and move accordingly as y𓆏ou slide underneath.
Climb the cages in the far right corner of the room and wait for the Janitor to spread his arms as wide as possible. Use this opportunity to jump between his arms and pull at the cage.
The first pole you need will break from the cage and cause the door to collapse, partially trapping th🔜e Janitor’s arms.
Immediately climb the cage again and repeat this process until you get the second pole. This might take more than one try as the second pole is much sturdier than the first. Once the second pole has been pulled out, the door will crush the Janitor’s arms and trap him there. A door should open behind you. Climb the cages again and go through the hole into the tunnel. This is the end of Chapter 2.
By the end of this chapter, you should have collected 80 percent of your lanterns, 46 p𝔍ercent of your Nomes and 40 percent of your Geisha statues.
