Blizzard has announced on Twitter that an amiibo based on the loot goblin from Diablo III will be releas🍬ed in December and will be a Gamestop exclusive𝐆.
The amiibo toyline started out with the characters from the Super Smash Bros. series and spread out to various different gaming franchises, some of which were quite surprising, like Solaire of Astora from Dark Souls.
The latest addition to the amiibo line is coming from Diablo III, but it's not the big red devil himself.
It didn't take long for fans to point out that the Loot Goblin amiibo is just a repaint of a previous figure that Blizzard had released of the creature. There is a series of vinyl figures called "Cute But Deadly" which consists of characters from different Blizzard video games, such as Diablo, Tracer from Overwatch, and Arthas from World of Warcraft, which also contains a Loot Goblin figure.

It looks like Blizzard just repainted the Loot Goblin figures and stꦑuck them on an amiibo ba🌄se.
The loot goblins originated in Diablo III as demonic pests from the Treasure Realm, who use their magical powers to steal items of value from under the nose of mortals. The player will likely see many of these creatures during their time in Diablo III and can steal a ton of 📖loot𒀰 from them by attacking. You will only have a few moments before the Loot Goblin uses its magic to summon a portal back to its own realm, but if you can defeat it before it flees, then you will acquire a lot of treasure from its body.
The exact purpose of the Loot Goblin amiibo hasn't been reveal🔥ed, but the Twitter post suggests that it can be used to open a portal to the Treasure Realm. This amiibo will likely be restricted in the number of times you can use it per day.
The Loot Goblin amiib༺o will be available to🍒 order from Gamestop in December.
