Lost Ark has a 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:very long main story questline, which is broken up by item level requirements. Nonetheless, while the story may start rather basic, being a pretty typical 'good guys versus bad guys', it evolves quite naturally and effectively to become much more than that.

Each continent has a different story to tell with the overarching thread connecting them all together into a dynamic narrative. And it's the cast that makes any narrative shine. There are many characters throughout Arkesia that make this long journey intriguing and wonderful, but as is usually the case, there are a few that stand out more than the others.

Honorable Mentions: Kharmine and Armen

Lost Ark split image of Kharmine close up glancing to the side and Armen close up with glowing red eyes

These two didn’t make the list because Kharmine is too mysterious (๊we still don’t know his endgame) and Armen is overly conflicted and self-doubting (making him annoying at times).

10 Blackfang

Lost Ark Blackfang looking down at you

Blackfang may seem like a surface-level character when we first meet her in Luterra, but after seeing her personal story develop through her Rapport quest, there is a great deal of depth to her character. That said, the title of this article is for the best characters in the main story questline, which is why Blackfang isn’t ranked higher, because we don’t see all that much of her in it. However, her dynamic natuꦚre and motivations are enough to stick her on this list anyway.

To take on the burden of restoring order to the seas in the wake of Bl𒁃oodclaw’s death (or disappearance?) all by herself is quite telling of her character in itself. She also gives us our first ship, which is nice. Either way, her screen time in the main story is criminally low.

9 Thar

Lost Ark Thar standing on stone road with small fire in background

Let’s be real. Thar is one of the biggest, if not the biggest, Chad in the game. He’s constantly charging headfirst into battle, fighting alongside us (oftentimes just flat out saving us), and has remained honorable for one hundred years. If death couldn’t change this man’s incredible outlook on life and 🐼his ideologies, nothing can.

All in all, Thar truly defies the typical side character presented to us in RPGs - for instead of merely tagging along 🌸and helping the hero, it usually feels like we, the heroes, are the ones helping him. That said, his character is quite static, placing him rather low on this list.

8 Brelshaza

The demon Brelshaza stands on the balcony of the Phantom Palace

Of the Legion Commanders, B🌱relshaza is the most intriguing. We see more of Kakul Saydon on the whole, but Brelshaza takes the cake because of her attitude, confidence, and sheer power (side note: though she’s not as strong as the Darkness Legion Commander, we barely see him at all, and he pretty much has a total of five words spoken between his brief appearances in the Feiton and South Vern questlines).

Brelshaza is built up as a formidable foe through the early goings of the Rohendel questline, and we don’t actually see her until we take down the chief fire-elemental, Ephernia. At this point, we also realize she has been manipulating this powerful being from the get go. On top of her ability to manipulate living things, her powers are not only strong but quite flashy, as is evidenced by the Phantom Castle dungeon (broken up into two Abyss dungeons: 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Hall of the Twisted Warlord and 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Hildebrandt Palace), which is an absolute feast for the eyes. And th🍒at’s not even to mention how she casually breaks reality on multiple occasions.

7 Shandi

Lost Ark Shandi with lamps and trees behind him

Shandi is an amusing character and is one of the more mysterious ones, as he encourages us to find out things for ourselves instead of providing us with answers outright. He takes on Kakul Saydon in the initial quests in Luterra which demonstrate𝕴s his power level right out the gate and continues to pop up in parts of the main ꦬquestline when we least expect it.

He is a mentor figure mainly for Zinnervale, but also initially for Bꦇalthorr (and the player), but he goes about his mentoring in oftentimes comical ways. There 🎃are a couple of other sidereals who have similar life-experience to Shandi due to their age (Azena, Kadan, Nineveh), but he beats them to this list due to his charismatic personality. However, we see much lesser of him across the main story than others.

6 Aven

Lost Ark Aven (on the right) and Turan (on the left) with forestry behind them

Aven is one of the primary characters you work with during the Rohendel questline - and he is an enigma. After all, the first time you meet him, he accidentally turned himself into a frog. He’s got a great sense of humor and selflessness, the latter evidenced by him sacrificing himself to ensure Turan and the player's safe escape from Brelshaza’s demonic forces in Elzowin’s Shade.

With alꦿl that in mind, the most intriguing part about Aven is his willingness to go against the grain. He was (and for the majority of the questline, still is) looked down upon by the other mages for wanting to learn about Brelshaza’s dream magic in order to be able to better combat it. He wants to fight fire with fire, to an extent, and even in the face of resistance and disparagement from his peers, he nonetheless persists, making him quite admirable.

5 Shana

When it comes to the Punika story, there’s more than𒁃 meets the eye, with Shana in particular. If you can get past her constantly smelling blood and her often overly-dramatic voice actor - one of the reasons she’sಌ not higher up on the list - her character has some deep layers.

She is an outcast with a depressing backstory, but she still fights for the people of Punika, despite how they bully and reject her. Her main goal is to please Nia, her best friend, and her tunnel-visioning of that goal 𒐪helps her deal with the verbal abuse she﷽ receives from most of the Punikans.

4 Krause

Lost Ark Krause fully evolved with wings and artificial sun behind him

Lost Ark falls prey to your typical “destroy the ℱworld and kill everyone” villain as a consequence of having demons as the main antagonistic force. However, High Technologist Krause breaks from this stereotype exquisitely. Being one of the few antagonists who believes he’s the hero, Krause seeks to take matters into his own hands and lead the Cykins into a technologically advanced future himself.

He believes that the gods won’t save the people of Arkesia from demonkind and that they must fight for themselves. A noble goal for sure, but his methods toward creating a superior Cykin race are often immoral, tౠo say the least. Either way, Krause is an extremely convincing villain, and it’s a shame we don’t see him outside the Arthetine story.

3 Zaika

Lost Ark Zaika consumed by darkness magic

The Feiton story was one of the best, if not the best, continent-questlines in the game, and Zaika is one of the reasons why. We spend a sizable amount of time questing with him, and his motivations are laid bare time and time again. Even though demon powers course through his veins, he remains true to his motivations and lays down his life to protect al𒁏l of Feiton, Delain, and Sacrian priest alike.

He demonstrates incredible willpower just by being able to contain his own demonic powers, and incredible restraint (and selflessness) by surrendering himself to the Sacrian priests in order to avoid infighting between them and the Delains. Zaika isn’t higher up on the lꦐist because we don’t spend that much time with him comparatively and because he doesn’t really go through any character development.

2 Thirain

Lost Ark Armen shining light upon Thirain while crowning him king with onlooking soldiers and player-character

Thirain is, simply put, a noble-hearted person with a strong moral compass. And, aside from Armen, he’s the first character we really spend a decent chunk of time with. During that time, we help him reclaim his kingdom, forge a very close bond of friendship with him, and crown him King of Luterra. He is a very self-doubting 🐬character for sure (not as much as Armen though, thank God), but we see him develop past that, as is reflected by the lighting of his sword, Vanquisher.

It was a great moment, watching it light up for the first time during his fight against Valtan, as it felt li🌼ke that was when Thirain’s character arc truly completed, as opposed to when he was crowned king.

1 Balthorr

Lost Ark Balthorr wielding hammer with Velcruze behind him

Balthorr, Galatur’s successor, is initially a drunk and depressed Umar when you meet him at the beginning of the Yorn questline. By the end of it, he’s a fully-realized sidereal and an incredible source of comic relief. His character development is truly dramatic, and what makes ꦿBalthor💙r’s transformation hit so hard is the player is part of his entire journey.

We are able to see him become a better person firsthand, as well as become his “brother” (even if you’re playing a female character, you’re still considered his brother. It’s the game’s fault, not his). This, along with his humorous, kind-hearted personality are what put him at number one.NEXT: 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Lost Ark: Stronghold Guide
