In any type of RPG, yꦰo൩u always know that there’s a possibility that some NPC is lingering in the background; lurking off-screen or smiling on-screen, ready to swoop in and “save” you from a boss or take credit for your actions.
During the narrative of Lost Ark, particularly the portion of the main story that has you questing in Luterra (168澳洲幸运5开奖网:levels 10-35), Armen is the epitome of a glory-stealer. There are some instances where he gets some help, either from you oℱr other NPCs, but the fact remains: he was there to take credit for some, if not all, oꦇf your hard work.

7 Rescuing Prideholme Fr🦂om Kharmine
You come back to the quaint town of Prideholme to find it on fire and under attack by hordes of demons. You rescue the cowering innocents along with those who are pinned beneath fallen ❀debris, all the while battling your way through the demonic invaders toward the church. You make it there to find Kharmine torturing and slaughtering the priests, only for Armen to barge in right after you and fend him off.
The priest takes much of the spotlight here, especially since so much emphasis is placed on his half-demon nature (which is super ironic if you’re 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:playing a Shadowhunter). However, when it's over, even though the citizens still hail you as their town’s savior, deep down, you know you could’ve taken on Kharmine instead of having Armen do it for you.
6 Defeating Than꧟atos
You start fighting your way through Morai Ruins with Armen and you two get separated. After quite some time spent breezing your way through the rest of the dungeon without him, you make it to the final boss: Thanatos. When he goes to recuperate from the first beating you put on him, Armen literally crashes 𓄧into the temple atop a giant bell, Indiana Jones-style, with a golden mirror.
This simultaneously creates a br🌼eak in the structure for sunlight to come through and provides you with the means of killing the demon. At least Armen wasn’t a hog and let you use𒅌 the golden mirror after him.
5 Claiming🍸 The Sword Seal
Remember Thanatos? The guy you killed (mostly) because of Armen’s intervention? Well, tha🌌t demon was all that stood between you and the Sword Seal, until Kharmine shows up to claim it for himse🐬lf.
Naturally, Armen throws himself in front of you (why to protect you, of course) and promptly demons-out to have an epic battle with Kharmine. The fight climaxes with the two of them disappearing and leaving the Sword Seal unscathed for you ဣto claim. Armen is the type of character for self-sacrifice, isn’t he? But then again, so are you, at least within the context of the game, so why not take up arms against Kharmine and allow Armen to sneak away with the Sword Seal instead?
4 Killing🅰 Rictus
While en route to officially make Prince Thirain King of Luterra, you, Armen, and the prince encounter a decently-scary looking demon by the name of Rictus (who has a striking resemblance to 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Rengar from League of Legends). You fight him, beat him, and upon doing so, he decides to shrug it off and kꦓnock you out withꦦ a swipe of his blade.
And so, Armen steps up to the plate, reveals his demoni🌠c power, and absolutely slaughters Rictus with ease. It was rather clear that you did all the work in that boss fight, which was evidenced by the fact that Armen was shielding an injured Thirain the entire time you fought Rictus. Figures he would wait until the last moment to drop said shield and last-hit the boss.
3 ﷺ Crowning Thirain As King
Armen knew he was going to crown Thirain the whole time, and his rejections of the to-be-king’s proposals were simply him playing hard-to-get. Regardless, you were the one who gathered a majority of the materials (if not the majority, then the most important ones), and worked with Artisan Urr (the d⛄warf at Lakebar) to craft the masterpiece that is Thirain’s crown. And what’s your reward for all that hard work?
You get to bring Armen the crown so that he can place it on Thirain’s head. Admittedly, you can’t perform the necessary blessings within the ceremony that Armen can, since he’s a priest (and there’s no priest-equivalent class to play, the closest option 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:being a Paladin, perhaps), but the least you could’ve done was be the person to actually crown 𝕴Thirain while Armen did his priestly ceremonial dutﷺies.
2 Demon Beast Commander Valtan ꦕ
When it comes to Valtan (the final encounter of the Siege of Luterra), you fight him after defeating a demon-empowered Regent Scherrit. Again, Armen spends his time during both boss fights tending to an injured Thirain. That said, upon “besting” Valtan in one-on-one combat, he pulls the “I&r🍨squo;m done playing around” line and swiftly headbutts you unconsciouܫs.
Thirain intervenes here, but gets knocked down as well, and finally, Armen steps in to save the day. Though he doesn’t get the killing blow, he stalls Valtan long enough for Thirain to get his bearings and fatally wound him. This makes sense for Thirain’s character arc, but it would have been just as feasible for you to be the one to tag-team Valtan with him, as opposed to Armen, whose half-breed, demonic power is empha⭕sized once ꦓmore.
1 But🍌chering The Sacrian Priests ൲
After the dust settles from the war against Kakul Saydon and his Mayhem Legion, the Chapter of Holy Priests from Sacria led by Executor Solace arrives on the scene to root o🅰ut any remaining heretics. They falsely accuse innocents and take them to a cliff-side to execute them. This conclusion, while unbeknown♚st to you at the time of speaking with Armen about it, can be easily inferred.
Nonetheless, he gives you🦩 the job of comforting the townsfolk who are still anxious after Kakul Saydon’s attack, and unilaterally decides that he should reason with Solace and the holy priests alone. While his request of you was understandable, it most certainly could have waited, as the more pressing matter of the execution of innocents by the church was at hand. But, alas, it was not meant to be.
