By the numbers, it is clear that last month’s LudoNarraCon 2020 was a m꧙ajor hit🌸.

An event that began last year - put on by Fellow Traveller Games - LudoNarraCon “is a global digital festival for narrative indie games” that took place April 24th through the 27th and used Steam as a platform. Online attendees were able to check out live panels that spanned a vast array of topics from creativity, to bu♍siness insights, to the indie gaming scene itself, while having access to never-before-seen trailers, in-game footage, and playable demos from some of the participating indie studios.

Whereas last year’s event brought in an impressive 850,000 unique attendees, LudoNarraCon 2020 saw over a 10% increase with over 940,000 att🍌endees from around the world, with the United States, China, Russia, and Brazil having the biggest number of attendees. With twice the number of exhibitors this year, on average, participants also had around 20,000 visitors visit their respective Steam store pages, with unreleased games, on average, receiving 3,000 wishlists.

Additionally, if ever it was in question as to whether or not Steam was the best⛎ platform for the event to take place on, that doubt can be cast aside, as the event banners on Steam itself received over 61 million impressions, which was a gigantic increase from 2019's 13.5 million.

An asterisk could be put on these stats by attributing the increased viewership to the global shelter-in-place orders brought o✤n by the CO꧟VID-19 pandemic. However, given the sheer magnitude of the year-over-year numbers, it's hard to imagine that the event wasn’t going to perform even better than the year before.

For those🃏 who may have missed out on the live event, all of LudoNarraCon 2020’s is still available for you to check out 🍎at your leisure, as are the recording✨s of the 14 different .

At the very least, indie gamers should br🌠owse the content of this year’s event, especially considering that Fellow Traveller Games is already using this year’s insights to make LudoNarraCon 2021 even better.
