Though results won't be completely visible for several years, there are more than a handful of rookies who will have an imme🌃diate impact on the teams that drafted them.

There also happens to be several superstar ꦑplayers who won't be able to change the course of a team's success for years to come. Let's take a look at five things the 2020 NFL Draft changed and five things it didn't.

10 Same: Bears Defense Willꦰ Dominate

Going into the 2020 NFL offseason the biggest question mark for the Chicago Bears was what they were going to do with the quarterback position. They also needed to find a way to replace some aging veterans on defense they let walk in free agency, which included two positions in the secondary. The Bears took cornerback Jaylon Johnson out of Utah, who many experts believed to have first-round talent, in the second round. If he's able to come in and start, 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:that defense could return to its 2018 form thanks to other key signings and returns f﷽rom injuജry.

9 C🍰hanged: Chargers QB Situation💃

Days before the 2020 NFL Draft the Los Angeles Chargers front office made it clear that they were more than comfortable going into next season with veteran quarterback Tyrod Taylor under center. That strategy seemed to be a bit of a bluff as they ended up taking one of the top QB prospects, Justin Herbert from Oregon, in the top ten picks of the draft. It's unclear if Herb🤡ert will start in Week 1, but Taylor will be under a lot more pressure to stave off the decision to throw the rookie in for added energy.

8 ✅ Same: Patriots Leaning On Stidham

With Tom Brady now taking snaps under center in Tampa Bay, NFL fans across the globe have been wondering what the New England Patriots plan was at quarterback 🃏in the 2020 season. Despite having the youthful Jarrett Stidham on their roster, it was unclear whether the✨y'd go for a QB in the draft.

Most analysts believed if they did it would likely be a selection of either Jacob Eason from Washington or Jake Fromm from Georgia. Both were taken by other teams and the Patriots finished the draft in the same place they started it in, with Stidham likely♏ being the future of the franchise.

7 Changed: Baker Mayfield's Safety 🌟

Before the beginning of the 2019 season, the media picked the Cleveland Browns as the polarizing favorite to make a mark during the season. The addition of Odell Beckham Jr. seemed to be the tool 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Baker Mayfield could use to ascend to MVP status in the league. Mayfield ended up regressing due to poor offensive line play and what seemed to be loss of confidence that grew as the weeks went 🐠on. In the 2020 draft the Browns looked to protect Mayfield by drafting one of the class's best offensive tackles in A🎃labama's Jedrick Wills Jr. in the first round.

6 💜 Same: Bengals Place In AFC North

Drafting at the #1 position in the draft is exciting as fans become hopeful that a single player can turn around the franchise. That team was selecting that high for a reason, though. Joe Burrow may come into the league and post great numbers, but the Cincinnati Bengals still need a couple more pie⛄ces to compete in the AFC North. It's hard to see the Bengals not winning at least one more game than they did last year, but against the likes of Lamar Jackson and Ben Roethlisberger, they're going to have a tough time in 2020.

5 Changed: Reliance On💞 Kerrigan

Imagine having 90 career quarterback sacks and most NFLꦆ fans not knowing who you are. That's the career Ryan Kerrigan has had with the Washington Redskins ever since they drafted him out of Purdue.

With the #2 overall pick in the 2020 NFL Draft the Redskins selected what most believed to be a generational pass-rushing talent in Ohio State's 💃Chase Young. It likely means Kerrigan's years in D.C. are numbered, but at least he'll finally have someone acrossඣ from him bringing pressure to opposing quarterbacks.

4 Same: Fitzmagic In Miamꦗi

Every year it seems that numerous teams leak false information in hopes of throwing up smokesc🌠reens so other teams have 🍌no idea what their true intentions are. This year the biggest one was by the Miami Dolphins who made it unclear whether or not they were still all-in on drafting Tua Tagovailoa from Alabama. They ended up snagging him in the top five picks of the draft, but due to his injury history it seems they'll be super patient in terms of putting him out on the field. Looks like Dolphins fans should expect at least half a season of Fitzmagic by way of Ryan Fitzpatrick.

3 Changed: Pressure On Chandler Jones ဣ 🌺

Ryan Kerrigan was already mentioned as one of the best defensive players no one talks about, but he's not alone. has managed to put up incredible pass-rushing numbers for years now but goes unnoticed due to him playing for the much-maligned Arizona Cardinals. The most versatile defensive player in the 2020 NFL Draft, Isaiah Simmons from Clemson, fell to them. If he's able to com𒐪e in and bring playmaking energy to the linebacker core and secondary, it could relieve some pressure off of Jones' shoulders to constantly disrupt opposing offenses by himself.

2 💃 Same: Rodger's Lack Of Weapons

The 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Green Bay Packers may have been one game away from the 2019💜 Super Bowl on paper, but they were demolished in the run game by the San Francisco 49ers and Aaron Rodgers' lack of offensive talent around him became quite clear. In the 2020 NFL Draft the Packers opted to ignore each of those issues and instead traded up in the first round to draft Rodgers' eventual replacement at quarterback. The rumors of management being fed up with Rodgers seems to become more realistic as their decisions con🦩tinue to unfold.

1 Changed🌳: Broncos Offense 🦩

At the start of the 2019 season it seemed like the Denver Broncos were looking to make 🍒it to the playoffs with Joe Flacco under center. By season's end it was clear that rookie quarterback Drew Lock showed enough to believe in moving forward. John Elway, the Broncos General Manager, seemed to make that their priority in the draft as they focused on surrounding the gunslinger out of Missouri with plenty of weapons and protection. He has all the tools to succeed, now it's time to see if Drew Lock is the real deal or not.
