Magic: The Gathering Arena has a new game mode that will let players skip deckbuilding and get straight to playing th🍷e game.
It’s called 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Jumpstart, a new game mode where you essentially craft your own custom starter decks from an available list of over 40 different Jumpstart Packs. These packs are already available for the tabletop version of 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Magic, and today, Magic Arena gets to enjoy this fast new game mode.
So what is Jumpstart? It's a new format where two players make 40-card decks and then faceoff in 1v1 combat. What makes Jumpstart super fast is the fact there is virtually no deckbuilding. You c🐼hoosꦬe two Jumpstart Packs, slap them together, and BAM, you've got a 40-card deck to play with.
Each Jumpstart pack is like half of a new expansion's starter pack. They contain 20 cards that are mostly commons and uncommons along with a single rare-value card. Each pack follows a different theme, ranging from simple creature hordes like dragons, pirates, unicorns, angels, and dogs, to more abstract Magic themes like discard and control.
Jumpstart packs are usually monocolored (although there is one Rainbow Jumpstart pack) but each pack usually has at least some 🔴color-fixing so that you can slap two diffe𓆏rently-colored packs together to make a two-color deck.

The new format is also bringing a brand new event to Arena. The Jumpstart event runs from now until August 16 can be played for 400 Gems (or about $2.50) or 2ꦦ000 Gold. That fee gets you two Jumpstart packs to make your first deck and start playing. Your first two wins will get you a free Jumpstart rare-value card.
Best of all, whatever cards you buy in Jumpstart packs are yours to keep. They even work in Arena's Historic mode.
