Throughout the history of 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Magic: The Gathering, the community has seen a wide variety of cards with mechanics being tested out in nearly every set. While artifacts have been a part of Magic since its very first set, in 2016, Kaladesh introduced a new type of artifact to the game: vehicles. 🎀While artifacts usually come in the form of cards that sit on the battlefield while providing a static ability or equipment that can be used to augment a creature, vehicles feature a mechanic called "crew."

Each vehicle card comes with a "crew costs.ꦕ" This determines how much total power from creatures are required to be tapped in order to turn that vehicle into a creature until the end of turn. Let's take a look at the best vehicle cards in Magic: The Gathering.

10 🍷 Colossal Plow

mtg plow

A brand new ve🤡hicle introduced in the 2021 Kaldheim set, the Colossal plow has a low casting cost of two, although it also has a notably high crew cost of six, 🌄becoming a 6/3 when crewed. However, Colossal Plow ranks among the best vehicle cards due to its triggered ability that activates whenever it attacks.

Upon attacking, Colossal Plow's controller gains three life and adds three 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:white mana to their mana pool. This allows the card to function as an alternative means of 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:mana ramping in white, converting the power of one's creatures into mana through crewing. This card also has great synergy with t🌠he new card, Giant Ox, which is capable of crewing six by itself for the small investment of two mana.

9 Esika's Cha🗹riot

esika's chariot

Another new vehicle from Kaldheim, Esika's Chariot is a green four-mana equipment that creates two 2/2 green 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:cat tokens when it enters the battlefield. As this card has a crew cost of four, this means that these cats can automatically crew the chariot as soon as it is cast, turning it intoꦗ a 4/4.

This card also allows its user to accrue value over time, as whenever Esika's Chariot attacks, its controller creates a copy of any token they control. While this card is strongest when paired with other cards that 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:generate useful tokens, even at its worst, it can at least make more cats꧑!

8 ♊ 🎐 Fleetwheel Cruiser

mtg fleetwheel

While vehicles require their crew costs to be paid in order to function as creatures, Fleetwheel Cruiser is the exception to this rule. A four mana vehicle with a crew cost of two, when ꦅit enters the battlefield, Fleetwheel Cruiser immediately becomes a creature until the end of the turn.

Paired with its haste, trample, and offensive stats of 5/3, Fleetwheel Cruiser is easily the fastest๊ acting vehicle available.

7 Cultivator'෴s Caravan ꦏ

cultivator's caravan

Released in Kaladesh, Cultivator's Caravan is a flexible vehicle that has the excellent distinction of still being useful when it isn't crewed. A three-168澳洲幸运5开奖网:mana artifact with a crew cost of three, ﷺthis card becomes a 5/5 when crewed, allowing smaller creatures to crew it to create a larger threat.

However, regardless of if it is crewed, this card may be tapped to produce one mana of a🎀ny color, allowing it to help multi-colored decks fix their manaไ.

6 Conqueror's Galleon/Conqueror's 🔥Foothold

Despite its high defense, players are incentivized to attack with this card rather than defend, as when it attacks, it is transformed and flips at the end of combat. Once transformed, it becomes the Conqueror's Foothold, 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:a swiss army knife of a land that can draw cards at the cost of mana and is even capable of returning cards from its owner's 🐭graveyar💞d to their hand.

5 🥃Skysovereign, Consul Flagship

skysovereign

A vehicle that takes the form of a massive airship, Skysovereign, Consol Flagship can be the source of repeated removal. Castable for five mana, Skysovereign totes a crew cost of three, becoming an impressive 6/5 with flying🐟 when crewed.

Notably aggressive, when a player attacks with Skysovereign, they are able to deal three damage to any creature or Planeswalker, allowing them to handle many problematic💧 permanents.

4 𝓀 Weatherlight

The Weatherlight is among the most important vehicles in the plot of Magic: The Gathering, being involved in the game's lo📖re as early as 1997. As a card, this four-mana vehicl🥂e becomes a 4/5 with flying when its crew cost of three is paid.

Upon dealin🍃g combat damage to a player, the Weatherlight's controller l🧜ooks at the top five cards of their library, putting any historic card into their hand. This makes it an excellent inclusion in decks that include a wide range of artifacts or legendary creatures.

3 🅠 Heart Of Ki🎐ran

heart of kiran

A low-costed vehicle for only two ma🃏na, the Heart of Kiran becomes a 4/4 with both flying and vigilance when it's crewed. Though it has a crew cost of three, it can distinctly be crewed by removing a loyalty counter from a Planeswalker under its owner's control.

As that Planeswalker's abilities can still be activated that turn, they can theoretically keep activating plus abilities to break even on th🌳e exchange. This means that in Planeswalker-heavy decks, the Heart of Kiran can often function as a 4/4 with two notable keywords for only two mana.

2 🔥 Cosima, God of ꧃the Voyage/The Omenkeel

Cosima, God of the Voyage The Omenkeel

Kaldheim has recently introduced numerous "modal double-faced" god cards that allow a player to choose which side of the card to play. Cosima, God of the Voyage totes a stellar alternate side that comes in the form of the legendary vehicle, The Omenkeel. A blue vehicle for only two mana, this card boasts a l🐷ow crew cost of one, becoming a 3/3 when it is crewed.

The Omenkeel states that whenever🌌 a vehicle its owner controls deals combat damage to a player, that player exiles that many cards from the top of their library. Additionally, the Omenkeel allows its controller to play lands that are exiled this way, allowing them to consistently never miss a land drop!

1 Smuggler𒅌's Copter

smugglers copter

First and foremost, it's important to address the elephant inꦛ the room. Smuggler's Copter is a card so useful that it was bꦚanned in the Standard format. With a low mana cost of two and the same crew cost of the Omenkeel, upon being crewed, this card becomes a 3/3 with flying.

If the copter deals damage to a player, its controller is able to draw a card and then discard a card. While this may not seem to be much at first glance, its low cost ensures it can be cast early in a game and the evasion that comes with flying means it can re🌠liably hit an 🍨opponent. While its controller must discard a card after it allows them to draw, Smuggler's Copter permits a player to rifle through their deck to quickly access key cards.
