These planes are each as visually distinct as they are thematic, with each plane drawing influence from different forms of mythology, cultures, and forms of fiction. Many of these planes are so fleshed out that they've received numerous books worth of lore.
However, as no two planes are alike, it's safe to say that the comfort of living o♋n these planes varies. While some of these planes may be idealistic fantasy worlds one would love to inhabit, others would be complete nightmares. So today, we're going to delve into the many planes of Magic's muꦕltiverse and see which would be the best to live in, and which would be the absolute worst!
10 Best:𝓰 Zendika🤡r
Though the plane Zendikar was👍 initially created ꦯas the plane of adventure, reminiscent to the worlds of D&D, it quickly became associated with the destructive menace, the Eldrazi. But as the Eldrazi have been expunged from🌳 the plane, Zendikar is back to its original roots.
Full of floating islands, massive mountains, and a vast wilderness, Zendikar would be an excellent home for those looki🐷ng to explore uncharted expanses or ancient ruins.
9 🔜 Worst: Theros
While many planes in Magic's multiverse are influenced by various mythologies, it is most apparent in 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:the plane of Theros. The plane based upon Greek mythology, Theros is a p♍lane that is heavily influenced by the fifteen gods that are present on the plane. Each of these gods are immensely powerful being that draw their power directly ꦐfrom the residents of the plane's belief in them. Unfortunately, like the gods of Greek myth, many of the gods of Theros are quite fickle and petty, and often directly impact the lives of mortals.
8 Best: Lorwyn 🐷
Lorwyn is among the most lighthearted and whimsical plan🐷es in Magic: The Gatherin🍸g, inhabited by likes of kithkin, giants, merfolk, and 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:prankster goblins. The plane visually and contextually draws a great deal ofꦰ influence from Welch folklore and myth, and the plane exists in a state of eternal daylight.
It is worth noting that due to a phe🦄nomenon known as the Great Aurora, the plane can transform into its twisted reflection, Shadowmoor, a grim plane of eternal night. However, as long as one is only present on Lorwyn when this shift isn't acted, the plane is beyond pleasant.

The plane of Tarkir is a war-torn world that was once ruled over by five clans. These clans each each drew inspiration from different forms of dragons, such as monks that employed their wisdom, and necromancers who were inspired by their ruthlessness. However, in the present, Tarkir is ruled by 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:five elder dragonlords that have assumed control of these factions. While the living cond🌺itions vary between which dragon one is ruled by, no matter how one looks at it, living on Tarkir means that one would likely be forced to wage war in the name of a dragon. As if that weren't bad enough, depending on which dragon one works for, they could very well end up as their leader's lunch.
6 🧸 Best: Kylem
Appearing in Battlebond, the plane of Kylem is home to the massive arena known as Valor's Reach. Residents of Kylem come from far and wide to lay witn💙ess to the battles and competitions that are held within Valor's reachꦑ. This means that unlike the plane is perfectly suited to non-combatants that are able to access entertainment at their own leisure.
5 Worst: The 𓄧Meditation Realm
An integral plane within the lore of Magic, the Meditation Realm was an empty plane discovered by 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:the draconicౠ Planeswalker, Nicol Bolas, and it long served as his personal realm of meditation. However, after Bolas's de-sparking at the end of the War of the Spark, 🐓this once peaceful plane now has two permanent residents: the vengeful Nicol Bolas, and the warden of this interplanar prison, Ugin the Spirit Dragon.
So if one were to hypothetically enter this plane, not only would they be in a spacious wasteland, but one containing two immensely 🍸powerful dragons that have nothing but disdain for each other.

Ravnica is among the most popular planes in Magic: the Gathering, and it isn't hard to see why. These guilds offer protection and services to their members, and each provide services to the rest of the city. Though the humans on Innistrad once𝔍 had a protector in the form of the archangel Avacyn and her legions of angels, Avacyn along with many of her angels descended into madness and have been slain.

The home of the Planeswalker Chandra Nalaar, while Kaladesh has had its problems with political corruption in the past, it is currently one of the most hospitable planes⛎ in the multiverse. The plane of invention, Kaladesh totes a notable steampunk influence and his home to countless elaborate machines and contraptions ranging from robots to airships. Due to the presence of an energy source known as aether, the residents of Kaladesh are able to create a variety of inventions that can improve the lives of those who live on the plane.
1 Worst: New🐓 Phyrexia ꩵ
Once the artifact-based plane of Mirrodin, due to the influence of oil from the plane of Phyrexia, this plane has transformed into the nightmare-scape known as New Phyrexia. Ruled over by five horrifying Praetors, the prime objective of the residents of New Phyrexia is simple: survive.🐟 Being captured by any of the praetors of New Phyrexia results in a fate worse than death, as they deconstruct and rebuild the captured in their image, repurposing an individual as a member of their ranks as a form of "Phyrexian ♐Completion."
