26 🅺 Grolnok, The Omnivore 🐠

A Froggy Kinship

Printed in Innistrad: Crimson Vow, Grolnok, the Omnivore is a deceptively powerful Simic value engine disguised as a 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Frog-kindred commander. For the cost of four 𒁃mana, this 3/3 Frog states that whenever a frog you control attacks, you mill three cards. While other frogs can trigger this ability, you can get plenty of additional value if Grolnok is the only frog you have aro𒈔und.

This is because whene𒁃ver you mill a permanent card, it's exiled with a croak counter on it. This is key, as Grolnok allows you to cast spells and play lands from exile with croak counters on them, meaning that through attacking, Grolnok's ability can effectively draw you three additional cards ꦑeach turn.

25 🍎 The Goose Mother

HONK

One of the silliest legendary creatures to be printed in recent times, The Goose Mother brings with it lots of food and lots of card draw to help you take o𝐆ver the game.

To start, The Goose Mother costs two mana, but you pay X to have it enter the battlefield with some 𒆙bonuses. For each extra X mana you pay, The Goose Mother gets a +1/+1 counter on it, and then it creates half that number of Food tokens, rounded up.

Anytime it attacks, you can sacrifice a Food token you get to draw a card, giving you plenty of answers for an🎀ything else your opponent might throw your way.

The Goose Mother needs to be supported with a ton of mana and ways to double up your tokens. Cards like Doubling Season, Parallel Lives, aꦯnd Unbound Flourishing all increase The Goose Mother's abilities, giving you a massively powerful creature to rush down your opponents.

24 ꧒ Arixmethes, Sluಞmbering Isle

Sit Back And Wait

Simultaneously serving as both mana ramp and a massive offensive threat, Arixmethes, Slumbering Isle changes greatly in its utility as the ga🌱me progresses. Four mana, this sizable 12/12 Kraken enters the battlefield tapped with five slumber counters on it. These counters are key because as long as Arixmethes retains any of them, it counts as a land rather than a creature.

However, regardless of if it's a creature or a land, Arixmethes may be tapped to produce two mana. Due to entering the battlefield as a land, Arixmethes can offer solid mana ramp while being rather difficult for opponents to remove. Once you've used this mana to cast additional spells, Arixmethes can serve as a sizable threat while retaining the ability to produce mana when ne🐼eded.

23 🌠 🧔 Lonis, Cryptozoologist

For the low cost of two mana😼, Lonis, Cryptozoologist is a commander who allows you to convert your creatures into an impressive value engine, investigating (creating clue tokens) whenever another nontoken creature enters the battlefield under your control. While clues are inherently powerful and can be an excellent source of card advantage, Lonis also provides these tokens with a potential secondary use.

At any time, you may tap Lonisꦛ and sacrifice X clues to look at the top X cards of an opponent's library, putting a nonland perm꧋anent with a mana value of X or less from among them directly into play! This means that Lonis provides the option to gradually draw several additional cards over the course of a game when needed, or you can use all of your treasures at once for a single high-impact payoff by stealing one of your opponent's most powerful permanents.

22 ꦍ Galadriel Of Lothlórien

The Scrying Queen

Manipulating the next card you're going to draw sets you up to have the best possible answer for any given situation and with the wonderfully thematic Galadriel of Lothorien, you'll be able to gaze into the future and pull exactly what you need. With Galadriel out, any time you are tempted by the Ring, and you pick a creature other than her to be your Ring-bearer, you scry three. Then, anytime you scry, you can reveal the top card o𒆙f your library afterward and if it's a land, you get to put it into play.

The core of the deck is to play anything and everything that lets you scry cards, manipulating the top of your deck to almost always put a land on top, so you can ramp up faster and faster. One of the 💫best cards you can run is Retreat to Coralhelm, an enchantment that lets you scry one anytime a land comes into play. With this enchantment you can continuously cycle through your deck, pulling more and more lands out to give you tons more resources than your opponents.

Call From The Deep

Building a deck around a specific creature type can feel limiting at times, r🃏estricting you to specific cards and running only the best strategies. With Kiora, Sovereig꧑n of the Deep, however, you can jam as many Krakens, Leviathans, Octopi, and Serpents into your deck as you can while accruing more and more value from them.

Anytime you cast one of those four deep sea creature types, you get to look at a number of🌳 cards from the top of your deck equal to that spell's mana value. From those cards, you can cast another spell with mana vꦯalue less than the original for free. Since you're in Simic colors you can ramp up in mana faster than your opponents, letting you cast massively powerful creatures with high mana costs and turn them all into two-for-ones. Kiora triggers anytime you cast a spell, not resolve it, so you still get to grab a second spell if your original creature is countered.

20 Ivy, Gleeful 🍌Spellthief 𒁃

A Unique Copy

Printed in Dominaria United, Ivy, Gleeful Spellthief is an incredibly unique and powerful commander that can be used to duplicate the value of some of your opponents' powerful speꦗlls. For two mana, this efficient 2/1 Faerie Rogue states that whenever a player casts a spell that only targets a single creature, that spell is copied, with the copy targeting Ivy.

Not o🙈nly can this provide you with the value of powerful buffing spells and even auras, but if you'd cast a spell that would target a different creature, Ivy can copy these spells as well. This allows you to simultaneously buff up two creatures with auras and pump-spells, targeting a different high-value creature while Ivy simultaneously reaps the rewards.

Released as part of Dungeons & Dragons: Adventures in the Forgotten Realms, Volo, Guide to Monsters is a Simic 3/2 for four mana who serves as 🦄the anti-kindred kindred Commander. This is because Volo is a commander who incentivizes you to run creatures that share no types in common!

Whenever a creature enters the battlefield under your control, and no other creatures that share a type with it, you create a token that’s a copy of that creature. This essentially doubles the value of all the creatures in a Volo de💞ck as long as y🍌ou don’t double up on any creature types.

Move Those Counters

Taking proliferation to the extreme is Ezuri, Stalker of Spheres. Ezuri's passiv🔥e ability lets you draw a card whenever you proliferate, turning any spells and abilities that would add counters into cantrips. A deck built around this ability is all about incremental value slowly building to an overwhelmꦍing force.

It's important tওo keep in mind that even if you don't have any counters to increase, the proliferation still happens; you just picked zero targets, so you will still draw a card off of Ezuri. With this in mind, cards like Evolution Sage and Contentious Plan can still be effective through card draws even if they don't provide immediate value.
