Azorius (white/blue) is often the color of control in 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Magic: The Gathering. As such, the 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:planeswalker cards in those colors often support that archetype – sometimes they have been so powerful at dictating what goes on in a game that they've even had to be banned.
There have been a handful of Azorius planeswalkers, with Teferi being the most well-known example. The pool of Azorius planeswalkers is strong, and in many caꦫses, running multiple Azorius planeswalkers is a good idea for many decks. Many of the best also have a rather low casting cost, allowing them to hit the ✤battlefield early and start generating value.
10 Dovin, Hand Oꦦf Control 🃏
Dovin, Hand Of Control is a part of a cycle of planeswalker cards from War Of The Spark that also comes with a static effect attached to them (but only has minus abilities). As the name implies, it's great for 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:control decks, as all artifacts, instants, and sorceries 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:are taxed for one extra mana.
Since Dovin, Hand Of Control only costs three ma▨na to play, you can get it out early to force the opponent to spend more mana for their spells, which can slow them down considerably. Its -1 effect will even let it protect itself early, shutting off the damage a permanent can deal for a turn.
9 Niko Aris
Niko Aris was a new planeswalker introduced in Kaldheim and even saw niche tournament play. They're one of the two planeswalker cards that has X in its casting cost (with Nissa, Steward of Elements being the only other).
Niko Aris brings🅰 in Shard tokens that can be sacrificed for an Opt effect (scry one, then draw one). Their +1 effect can be good as a game-ender, making a high-power creature unblockable attack for lethal damage so that the downside of the ability never even has a chance to resolve. Niko Aris can make more Shard tokens to continue building up card advantage, especially in the late game.
It's also worth mentioning that Niko works very nicely with enchantment synergies, like constellation. Their Shard tokens are enchantments, setting off all kinds of other triggers when they hit the battlefield.
8 Elminster
Elminster is a rare 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:planeswalker tꦺhat can be yo💎ur commander, designed for that format. Elminster is an interesting Azorius planeswalker, as it's focused on scrying, discounting your instant and sorcery spells based on how much you scry.
Since Elminster is in Azorius colors, it is incredibly easy to scry a hefty amount to give your next instant or sorcery a steep discount. Its +2 ability guarantees a free two mana discount. Elminster's -3 ability can let you bring out multiple Dragon tokens, as you can ensure a card with a high mana value is exiled to get the most out of the ability.
7 Dovin Baan ꦬ
Dovin Baan's introduction to Magic The Gathering was a strong one. It will shut down an opponent's creature by weakening its stats as well as preventing its activated abilities from being used. If Dovin Baan can't be taken care of, this essentially prevents that creature from being used in a meaningful way.
If you manage to use Dovin Baan's -7 ability, it effectively ends the game, as your opponent will only be able to untap two permanents each turn, and that includes lands. Its -1 ability gives you a small 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:but steady draw engine🦩. Since Dovin Baan only costs four mana to cast, you can get it out early to force the opponent to deal with it quickly, less they want the -7 ability to resolve.
6 ⭕ Venser, The Sojourner 🍃
Venser, The Sojourner only had a few printings, but is a fantastic Azorius planeswalker. It's a 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:perfect include in Blink decks that want to take advantage of permanents with ef🅷fects that trigger when they enter the battlefield. The Blink effect being a plus ability lets you continuously use it without wor♍ry.
Venser, The Sojourner is even a good include for go-wide creature decks, as for -1 you get to make all your creatures unblockable. If you get to use Venser's -8 ability, you generally win the game, as anything you cast will also act as permanent removal.
5 Dovin, Grand A🐈rbiter
Yet another Dovin, Dovin, Grand Arbiter is 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:a brilliant Azorius planeswalker that can quickly build up loyalty. It only costs three mana to cast, allowing you to start upticking it quickly. It🎀s +1 ability will let you get even more loyalty so long as you have creatures that can attack. If multiple creatures deal damage, multiple loyalty counters are given to Dovin, Grand Arbiter.
Dovin, Grand Arbiter's -7 is very useful for digging through your deck. Looking at ten cards and adding three cards from them to your hand is fantastic, and lets you pick out whatever cards you need for any given game state. Since Dovin, Grand Arbiter gets loyalty fast, it's not uncommon to trigger the effect multiple times, a rarity for planeswalker cards.
4 ཧ Teferi, Who Slows🌞 The Sunset
Teferi, Who Slows The Sunset is a four mana Azorius planeswalker, and one of the many strong Teferi ones. Its most useful effect is its +1 ability, as it lets you cast spells for free, untapping artifacts and lands after using them. If a permanent enters the battlefield tapped, Teferi, Who Slows The Sunset allows you to +1 to untap it for immediate use, while also tapping pesky blocker🅰s or denying your opponent their resources.
If you manage to use its -7 ability, you generate a ton of advantage, drawing into new cards and untapping your lands on your opponent's turns as well, to use the new cards you just drew right away.
3 🌄 Narset T✨ranscendent
Narset Transcendent is the perfect support card for decks playing a lot of noncreature spells. Its +1 ability lets you add the top card of your library to your hand so long as it's a noncreature, nonland card. While it's a bit of a gamble, upticking it is worth it to get you to its -9 ability, which permanently prevents your opponents from casting noncreature spells.
Narset Transcendent's -2 ability is its strongest, as it lets you get two casts of a spell for the price of one, since rebound lets you cast it again 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:without paying its cost at the next upkeep.
2 Teferi, Hero Of Dominaria 𝓰
The face of Azorius control decks, Teferi, Hero Of Dominaria is a pheꦓnominal card that sees play across multiple formats. Its +1 ability gives you card advantage and lets you untap any two lands, letting you reuse lands that tap for more than one mana.
Its minus abilities are all fantastic as well. It lets you put any nonland permanent back to your opponent's deck, letting you ensure Terferi, Hero Of Dominaria isn't in danger from attackers. Both abilities are fantastic, and if you manage to pull the -8 off, the opponent will likely not be able to recover, especially 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:since it can target lands.
1 Teferi, Time Raveler 🗹
Teferi, Time Raveler is often considered one of the best planeswalker cards ever printed, even being banned in Pioneer/Explorer, and had to be nerfed to be re-introduced🐼 to Historic. It sees play across many forma﷽ts including Modern and even Legacy.
Like many War Of The Spark planeswalkers, Teferi, Time Raveler has a static ability that prevents opponents from casting any spells at instant speed, meaning t🍷hey can only play them during their own turn. This effect is already good enough, but by giving Teferi, Time Raveler loyalty you can cast your sorcery spells as if they were instants.
Best of all, Time Raveler only costs three mana to cast, allowing you toꦺ cast it very early to cut your opponent off from interaction on your turn.
