Updated on January 21, 2025 by Ryan Hay: Have you ever just wanted to stop on someone with a preconstructed Commander deck? Well, the odds are in your favor if you happen to pick one of these to champion. We've added quite a few of these preconstructed Commander decks to this list since we started gathering them, and this time around we added two solid ones. The Outlaws of Thunder Junction deck Quick Draw and the Duskmourn: House of Horror Endless Punishment.
24 Endless Pu🃏nishment ജ
It Just Won't Stop
While a little difficult to manage, what with all the triggers running around, the Endless Punishment deck is a powerhouse with not only its premiere commander, Valgavoth, Harrower of Souls, but with a plethora of great c✱reatures and spells to bully yo💟ur opponents.
This iteration of the house-shaped demon Vไalgavoth comes down much sooner than its larger, main set counterpart, costing only four mana instead of nine. Once out, Valgavoth has a solid ward effect, forcing your opponents to pay two life if they want to target it. That also triggers its other effect, letting you draw a card and give Valgavoth a +1/+1 counter when your opponent l𝓀oses life for the first time on their turn.
The rest of the deck is a very strong punishm💧ent archetype, with cards ജthat have tax-like effects anytime your opponents do anything. You have cards like:
- Barbflare Gremlin
- Blood Artist
- Kaervek the Merciless
Perhaps even stronger is ✱the secondary commander, the aptly named The Lord of Pain. This shuts off all life gain effects th൲at your opponents might try to use to mitigate some of the damage you're dealing. It also helps throw around a huge amount of damage with its rather unique effect.
23 Tyran🌳id Swarm
The Scourge Of The Stars
Tyranid Swarm is a creature-focused Temur (blue, green, and red) deck based around the use of the Tyranid creature type and +1/+1 counters. Out of the box, it's a solid deck that features a good mana ramp and a wide range of high-power creatures with the ability to ♈grow in strength through the aforementioned counters.
This deck comes equipped with two interchangeable commander options that each provide significant value. While the Swarmlord itself is an impressive offensive threat capable of drawing cards whenever your creatures die holding counters, Magus Lucea Kane is a potent alternative commander that can not only grow your creat꧂ures with +1/+1 counters but also double the value of your X-cost spells and abilities.
22 The Ruino🌱us Powers
He Betrayed His Father For Power
The Ruinous Powers is a powerful Grixis (black, blue, and red) deck that reflects the forces of Chaos from Warhammer 40,000, featuring a blend of aggressive creatures, flexible control options, and the ability to cheat the mana costs of your spells. Helmed by Abaddon the Despoiler, this commander is capable of providing each spell you cast with cascade as long as its mana value is less than or equal to t♚he amount of damage you've dealt to opponents in a given turn.
This pairs quite well with the rest of the deck, which contains high-impact creatures capable of deal🃏ing serious damage to your opponents and a plethora of high-value spells to use with the cascade ꧒mechanic. This allows you to regularly cast an additional spell from each card you cast with no investment of mana required.
21 💛 Quick Draw
You'll Draw A Lot
With this deck, it's vastly more important to be casting as many spells as possible, rather than casting the best spells in the game. This deck is focused around its commander, Stella Lee, Wild Card, and various storm and storm-lite effects. Stella Lee capitalizes on you casting a second spell each turn, letting you exile the top card of your deck and giving you until your next turn to cast it. Taking this effect even fuꩵrther, her tap ability letཧs you copy an instant or sorcery spell, and all you have to do is cast three spells in a turn.
What makes her so good is that she is missing a little phrase that Wizards of the Coast has been so fond of lately to help keep Commanders in check, and that's the 'once per turn' clause. Without that, you can keep using Stella 𝓡Lee to copy more and more spells, so long as she's able to re🎀peatedly untap. While that might seem like a lot of work, its pretty easy when most of the deck is loaded with cheap spells like:
- Opt
- Treasure Cruise
- Faithless Looting
- Galvanic Iteration
Even a few upgrades to this de🐻ck can take it to an exceptionally powerful s♐tate, letting it compete with plenty of other decks with little effort.
20 ꦅ Forces Of The Imperiu෴m
They Serve A Higher Cause
As the name would suggest, Forces of the Imperium is a Universes Beyond pre-constructed Commander deck based around the Imperium of Warhammer💜 40🧸,000. An Esper (black, blue, and white) token deck, Forces of the Imperium introduces a great new mechanic in 'Squad,' allowing an additional mana cost to be paid a number of times when casting a creature to create that many token copies of it.

19 Guided By Natu♔re 🍨
The God-like Planeswalker Finally Got Her Own Card
Led by the Planeswalker 🎃Freyalise, Llanowar's Fury, Guided by N🐓ature is a potent Mono-Green deck that was released as part of Commander 2014 – the power of Freyalise's effects can drive a deck by itself, especially when considering the card advantage provided by her unbelievable draw ability.
The other cards that come with this precon form an Elf kindred deck based around populating a sizable number of elves, producing massive amounts of mana, and keeping a player's hand full of cards. In🙈 addition to featuring a wide range of Elf kindred staples (all complimenting Freyalise's abilities), the deck features several standout cards such as Emerald Medallion and Skullclamp.
18 Mutant M꧑enace
No Prophesy Will Help Your Opponents
