A classic reanimation target for years, Terastodon can absolutely d♊evastate an opponent if cast early enough or efficiently remove problematic cards on 🌟the board. When Terastodon comes into play you get to blow up three noncreature permanents.

You th♍en give that card’s controller a 3/3 Elephant token, which is a fair trade.

If reanimated early enough, you can set your opponents back a turn by blowing up their best land or even a Sol Ring. Suddenly their next tu🅘rn is going to look much worse when𒊎 they lose access to their mana fixing.

9 ♒ Ashen Rider

Having to hit eight mana to cast Ashen Rider in a game takes far too long, even in Commander games where there are all sorts of shenanigans available to ramp up in mana and Treasure tokens. Despite this Ashen Rider remains the perfect target for your reanimation spells with 🎀its extremely impactful enter-the-battlefield and death triggers.

As Ashen Rider comes into play you get to exile any permanent of your choice, and then do it again when it dies. With a reliable way to repeatedly bring Ashen Rider into play, you can quickly start removing every permanent under your opponent's control, lands included.

8 Sun Titan

An incredibly efficient bomb, Su🐻n Titan isn’t content with just being a 6/6 with vigilance but also brings back somethin🍸g else with it. When Sun Titan enters the battlefield or attacks, you get to bring back another permanent from your graveyard to the battlefield so long as its mana value is three or less.

With Sun Titan you can bring back anything from lands and destroyed artifacts as well as efficient stax pieces like Archon of Emeria and Aven Mindcensor. Sun Titan effectively rewinds y𝔉our opponent’s early remo🔴val spells and can help you reestablish a board presence just by coming into play.

7 ꦕ Triplic🤪ate Titan

While Triplicate Titan doesn’t have an enter-the-battlefield effect, it remains an incredible creature to bring back at any point in the game thanks to a great death trigger. As a 9/9 crea🎀ture with flying, vigilance, and trample, it will paint a huge target on itself for your opponents.

When Triplicate Titan inevitably dies, you get three 3/3 Golem tokens, each one with one of the original’s abili♔ties. Being able to repeatedly kill and bring back Triplicate Titan give you an army of tok𝓡ens to throw at your opponents, or to sacrifice for other effects.

By paying two life and one black mana, ꦯyou give a creature -1/-1 for the turn. This ability also lets you draw two cards since Vilis draws you cards when you lose a life.

In a Commander deck with K'rrik, Son of Yawgmoth at the lead, you can turn the black mana in your spells into Phyrexian mana, letting you pay two life instead of paying the cost. Reanimating an early Vilis and then landing a K’rrik turns your Phyrexian mana costs into card advantage.

A staple in reanimator decks in every format he’s legal in, Griselbrand counts itself as one of 🌊the best reanimation targets in Magic. While it doesn’t have any fancy enter-the-battlefield effects, Griselbrand has the ability to pay seven life to draw seven cards.

You can recover that life by attacking with Grislebrand since it has seven power and lifelink, making it an efficient way to keep your hand full.✤ Griselbrand might have dropped off in popularity in recent years, it still remains one of the best targets to reanimate.

2 ♏ ཧ Archon Of Cruelty

From Modern Horizons 2 comes the incredibly powerful Archon of Cruelty. With it enter the battlefield effect, Archon of Cruelty can turn c🧜ompletely take over the game by providing a huge amount of value.

When Atraxa resolves, you get to reveal the top 🍌ten cards of your library, adding one of each card type to your hand from the revealed cards.

This ability can net you up to eight cards, but more li🥂kely you’ll find yourself with an extra four or five cards in your hand. Reanimating Atraxa helps keep your hand full of cards to shut down your opponents, while also putting a massive creature in play for your opponents to deal with.
