Tainted Remedy is the ultimate counter to decks that want to be gaining life. It changes any life gain effect to one that loses life. While traditional lifegain decks don't see too much play in Explorer, Tainted Remedy does make a useful sidedeck card against 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Angel decks that ga🥂in 🎀a lot of life naturally. This makes some of their bigges📖t threats into threats for themselves.

Lifegain decks do see a lot of play in Historic as well, and Tainted Remedy completely shuts those decks down. While they aren't the most powerful decks in the format, having access to a card to ensure you will often always win is good to have in the sidedeck.

8 ⛎ ♑ Back To Nature

Back To Nature is the ultimate enchantment hate card. For just two mana, Back To Nature will destroy a🍸ll enchantments on the battlefield. While there is no current big enchantment deck in Explorer, but it wi⛄ll be useful in Historic. There are plenty of strong enchantment decks in that format, and Back To Nature allows them to be completely countered.

In Historic Brawl, Back To Nature gets even better as enchantments are such a big part of the format. Back To Nature is a♓ fantastic sidedeck card in the other formats, an♈d all future enchantments decks will have to worry about it.

7 🐻 Alesha, Who Smiles At 🥂Death

Alesha, Who Smiles At Death does not see too much play in Pioneer, but what it does see a lot of play in is Commander. As such, Alesha, Who Smiles At Death is a fantastic card to lead the helm of a Historic Brawl deck. 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:A Mardu (black/white/red) deck built around Alesha, Who Smiles At Death's ability is one that enables a unique strategy not before seen in the format.

Alesha, Who Smiles At Death could 🍷see play in traditional Historic as well. A graveyard recursion death has the potential to be powerful. Since the Explorer card pool is more narrow than Pioneer, Alesha might be able to rise in popularity in the format as well.

6 🃏 Ensoul Artifact ಌ

Ensoul Artifact is the enabler of the Scissors deck, named after the art of Ensoul Artifact. Ensoul Artifact turns any of your artifacts into 5/5 creatures for just two mana. This is 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:often paired with artifacts that cost one or even no mana such as Ornithopter or Gingerbrute. This turns whꦐat would normally be 😼weak creatures into massive threats that need answering.

The deck isn't fully playable yet, it is still missing Stubborn Denial, but with a few substitutes, a powerful Ensoul Artifact deck is playable in Explorer now.

5 🌄 Favored Hoplite

Favored Hoplite is a fantastic one-drop creature that sees a fair bit of Pioneer play in Boros Aggro and Heroic decks. Unlike cards similar to it, Favored Hoplite has free built-in protection while also growing its stats. Favored Hoplite is ꩵone of the best one-drops for those decks, oftentimes played at the max number of copies allowed in a deck.

Heroic decks were already gaining popularity in Explorer, and with Favored Hoplite's introduction, it is almost equal to its Pioneer counterpart. The only major card now missing is Monastery Swiftspear.

4 🍬 Mausoleum Wanderer ꦕ

With the introduction of Mausoleum Wanderer, Mono-Blue Spirits is now identical to its Pioneer counterpart. It's a major part of Bant (green/white/blue) and Azorius (white/blue) Spirits as well, but those two variants still need more Spirits before becoming Explorer playable. Mono-Blue Spirits is still very powerful, and one of the strongest decks in the current format.

Mausoleum Wanderer is an important part of the deck, as it allows 168澳💎洲幸运5开奖网:you to have a counterspell threat at all times. Since many Spirits have flash, it's easy to build up Mausoleum Wanderer's power and instant speed, to make it that much harder to pay to resolve a spell for your opponent.

While a card identical to it already exists in Llanowar Elves, that doesn't deter Elvish Mystic's power. In fact, that's the reason why it's so good. While Kalitas is generally only played with a few copies in a deck, its effect is incredibly powerful, and one of the ways it builds up creatures to run away with a game.

Kalitas, Traitor Of Ghet not only gains you life with lifelink, but lets you power itself up by sacrificing tokens you make by destroying your opponent's creatures. Kalitas gives you a large battlefield presence and does a whole lot for just four mana.

Supreme Verdict is a card so powerful it sees play in practically every format it's legal in. For just for mana, Supreme Verdict will destroy all creatures. While there are plenty for board wipes in both Explorer and Historic that are easier to cast, Supreme Verdict is so good because it can not be countered.

This allows it to get around decks like Mono-Blue Spirits that can play ar𒊎ound board wipes normally, and almost always guarantee you will clear the battlefield of creatures. Supreme Verdict🐈 is a staple in control decks and will make decks like Azorius Control in both Explorer and Historic much stronger.
