Magic: The Gathering's Lord of the Rings crossover has finally arrived in 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:MTG Arena. Tales of Middle-earth sends Magic players on a journey through Tolkien's fantasy world of elves, dwarves, orcs, and goblins, with a few hobbits thrown in for good measure.
As with every new expansion in Magic Arena, Tales of Middle-earth comes with its own Mastery Pass to provide fans with free and not-so-free loot. Let's look at the rewards in Tales of Middle-earth and see how we can unlock them as quickly as our little hobbit feet can wobble.
What Is The Magic: The Gathering Arena Mastery Pass?
Magic Arena's Mastery Pass is basically like a battle pass you'll find in other live-service games, but with a special Magic twist. In addition to earning cosmetics and in-game currency, you'll also unlock new cards and earn booster packs that could unlock even more.
As with other games, there's a free track and a paid track. Everyone gets access to the rewards on the free track, but you have to shell out 3,400 gems (or $19.99) to unlock the rewards on the paid track. There's also a boosted version of the paid Mastery Pass that'll give you the first 10 levels of rewards for 5,400 gems (which would cost you at least $35 to unlock).
The good news is that if you decide to go from the free to the paid tier, you'll still get all the rewards from the previously paid tiers you didn't get while you were still on the free track. Everything is rewarded retroactively.
The Tales of Middle-earth Mastery Pass will be available from now until September 5, 2023, wh👍ich is coincidentally the release date of the 🅰next major expansion.
How To Level Up The Mastery Pass
Gaining levels on the Mastery Pass is done by gaining XP, and you do that by playing the game. Win games, complete quests, and gain more XP to level your Mastery Pass.
Each day, you'll get three daily quests that'll reward you with 500 XP and 750 Gold. These quests will require you to do certain things in-game, such as casting certain spell types or colors. Every level on the Mastery Pass takes 1,000 XP, so you can get a level 🥂and a half just for doing ꧒the daily quests.
There are also daily wins and weekly wins. The first 15 games you win each week will reward you with 250 XP, which comes to 3,750 XP every week. Daily wins provide a paltry 25 XP, but that still comes to 4,125 XP per week just for doing the weekly wins quest.
That's four levels every week on top of the 1.5 levels you get doing the daily quests, which means you can complete the entire Mastery Pass in less than six weeks if you play every day.
You can also skip levels by paying Magic Arena's premium currency, gems. It costs 250 gems to skip a level, and since the Mastery Pass has 80 levels, it'd be very expensive to just pay to unlock all the rewards.

There are 80 levels of the Mastery Pass that award a total of:
- One avatar
- Two sleeves
- Three pets
- 20 cards
- 25 Card Styles
- 53 Booster Packs
- 1200 Gems

In addition to the Master Pass, there's also a Mastery Tree. This secondary battle pass only provides cosmetic rewards, including extended art card styles and avatars based on your favorite ꦆLorཧd of the Rings characters.
To earn all these rewards, you'll need to have received every Mastery Orb available on the Mastery Pass. That means paying for the paid version andꦅ🌸 getting to level 78.
