There are few characters in 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Magic: The Gathering more iconic than Teferi, the time-meddling mage. Teferi's cards often represent the character's experiments with temporal magic, looking into the future through scrying, or sending enemies back in time by bouncing creatures into their owner's libraries.

Since the introduction of planeswalkers in 2007, Teferi has appeared on seven different planeswalker cards, with wildly different levels of power. Teferi has been both an unplayable mess and an unstoppable force across his various incarnations. Here's every Teferi planeswalker card, ranked from weakest to strongest.

7 Te🌸feri, Timebender 🍃

Magic: The Gathering Teferi, Timebender full card with background

Teferi, Timebender is by far the worst Teferi planeswalker. For six man🅠a, it gives you the ability to untap one artifact or creature. This is an incredibly over-costed effect that is outperformed by low mana value cards like Dramatic Reversal and Co🌠rridor Monitor.

Of course, there's always a chance you'll get to activate this ability more than once, but this is incredibly unlikely. Teferi, Timebender's ultimate ability is too powerful for any opponent to leave Teferi alone, guaranteeing that it'll never stay on the battlefield for too long.

Teferi's -3 ability is the best in its lineup, drawing you two cards. Unfortunately, this just isn't strong enough to justify casting a six-mana planeswalker.

6 Teferi, Timeless Voya𓂃ger

Magic: The Gathering Teferi, Timeless Voyager full card with background

Teferi, Timeless Voyager just misses out on the bottom spot on this list. It oꦅutclasses Teferi, Timebender thanks to a few small changes that make it more worth using.

Teferi Timeless Voyager's -3 ability is its best, allowing you to temporarily remove a threat from your opponent's board and preventing them from drawing into a different card next turn. Six mana is still a ton to pay for this effect, but it doesn't feel quite as bad as Teferi, Timebender's untap ability.

Timeless Voyager's ultimate ability can win you the game if you somehow manage to activate it. Unfortunately, pulling this off is so hard that you could probably win the game faster by spending your mana elsewhere.

5 🍸 Teferi, Temp🧔oral Archmage

Teferi, Temporal Archmage is another expensive planewalke♉r, costing six mana to cast. It makes up for this cost somewhat with abilities that make it a complete upgrade to the previous ✱entries in the list.

Temporal Archmage's +1 ability is a stronger version of Timeless Voyager's +1, allowing you to scry two before drawing a card, filtering your deck in the process. Its -1 improves massively on Teferi, Timebender's untap effect by doubling the number of targets and giving you complete freedom of where to use it.

Unfortunately, Teferi, Temporal Archmage doesn't see much play in the modern day. While it was a decent addition to the pool of Commander-focused planeswalkers back in 2014, it's been eclipsed by many incredible planeswalkers since then.

4 Teferi, Who Slows The Suns🥃et

Magic: The Gathering Teferi, Who Slows the Sunset full card with background

Teferi, Who Slows The Sunset isn't an amazing card, but still marks the point on this list where Teferi planeswalkers go from unplayable to decent.

Its first two abilities are slightly stronger versions of those found on Teferi, Temporal Archmage, giving you more scrying and the ability to tap enemy permanents while untapping your own. You also get to use these abilities for a reasonable price, thanks to this Teferi's mana value of four.

If you can keep Teferi alive long enough, its ultimate ability is also pretty good, allowing you to untap your permanents on your opponent's untap step, as well as draw during their draw step. While this version of Teferi was never going to define a meta or join top-tier decklists, it successfully finds a home in Limited and more casual 60-card decks.

3 Teferi, Master Of Tim🌸e 𝔉

Teferi, Master of Time card and blur

There was a lot of people saying "Am I reading that right?" when Teferi, Mast🍰er of Time was revealed. The thought of a planeswalker activating abilities on every turn frightened many players, and rightfully so.

The reveal came only a year after the release of Oko, Thief of Crowns, a planeswalker so strong that it completely warped Standard until 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:it was eventually banned. For m༒any players, Master of Time was just another example of an overpowered, format ruining planeswalker.

Luckily, Master of Time didn't prove to be quite so powerful. While its instant-speed ability activations are certainly powerful, its loyalty abilities are tame enough to stop it becoming completely broken. Teferi's typical draw effect has been toned down by the addition of a forced discard, while his bounce ability has been replaced with a temporary phasing out.

This version of Teferi sees a large amount of play in Commander Superfriends decks, where its instant-speed acti♍vations can activate four times per turn cycle, getting you to that ultimate even quicker.

2 🅰 ๊ Teferi, Hero Of Dominaria

Magic: The Gathering Teferi, Hero of Dominaria full card with background

The top spot on this list is highly contested. Everyone who has played against the final two Teferi planeswalkers has their own opinion as to which is the bigger menace to face, and which is the strongest Teferi that you can add to your deck. Both cards frequently make lists of 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:the strongest planeswalkers ever.

Teferi, Hero of Dominaria just misses out on the top spot on our list, on account of its higher mana value. To make up somewhat for this casting cost, Hero of Dominaria comes equipped with a set of excellent loyalty abilities. Its first ability goes beyond the typical card draw effects of other Teferi planeswalkers by untapping your lands, leaving you poised for a counterspell throughout your opponent's turn.

Its second ability is also an upgrade to a previous Teferi ability, this time removing a creature by sending it to an opponent's library third from the top. If you're using this ability, the game will probably be over before you ever see the removed card again.

Hero of Dominaria's ultimate ability is also great, and all-but game ending if you manage to activate it. Unfortunately, you'll almost never see this happen, as anyone who sees Hero of Dominaria hit the table will immediately start trying to remove it.

1 Teferi, Time Raveler ꦅ ܫ

Magic: The Gathering Teferi, Time Raveler full card with background

Teferi, Time Raveler is the strongest incarnation that the iconic time-mage has had. Its abilities are simple yet powerful, it's very easy to cast, and it fits easily into many 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Azorius (white/blue) decks.

Time Raveler is also the most flavorful Teferi card, with loyalty abilities that relate to controlling the flow of time (and the match). This incarnation of Teferi comes with a passive ability that caps all enemy actions to sorcery speed, forcing their deck to run at a slower pace than yours. This severel🍰y limits their ability to interrupt your plays, as well as deal damage to Teferi.

Teferi's first loyalty ability gives a similar effect, basically turning your sorcery spells into instants until your next turn. The combination of these two abilities gives the user an incredible advantage, so much so that Time Reveler has become one of the most consistently annoying cards to face in Modern.

Teferi's appearance as Teferi, Time Raveler 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:also sees him at his most fashionable, some𒊎thing that lets him flex on your opponent with more than just his abilities.
