Some of the rarest Commander decks come in the form of four-color decks. With an extremely limited number of possible commanders, these decks are restricted to only a few viable commanders. The unique color combi𓆏nation of white, blue, black, a💧nd red combines some of the best removal and control cards into one powerful deck.
You can build this style of four-color deck around a number of partner commanders, two cards that can sit in the Command Zon🌜e together. Or you can go the route of Breya, Etherium Shaper, the original non-green four-color commander that brings an absurd amount of power to your deck.
5 Cecily, Haunted Mage And Sophina, Spearsage D🍃eserter 💙
These two commanders are the Universes Within versions of two legendary creatures f🐻rom the Stranger Things Secret Lair drop. First up is Cecily, Haunted Mage, also known as Eleven, the Mage. Cecily automatically sets your maximum hand size to 11, which makes more sense with the Secret Lair version but is still pretty good. Then, when Cecily attacks, you get to draw a card and lose one life, casting an instant or sorcery for free if you have 11 or more cards in hand.
Partnering with Cecily is Sophina, Spearsage Deserter, originally Chief Jim Hopper, which can hel🦂p accelerate your draw power by investigating for each attacking nontoken creature when it attacks. Sophina also has menace, making removing it much more difficult through blocking.
Since these two depend on combat triggers, you’ll want to run all sorts of cards that either grant additional combat ꦰsteps or extra turns. A powerful enabler to these lists are cards like Is𒆙shin, Two Heavens as One which doubles up your combat triggers, and Relentless Assault, which provides an extra combat phase after your current one while also untapping all your attacking creatures.
4 Akiri, L♒ine-Slinger And Silas Renn, Seeker Adept
Coming up next is a low mana cost duo that can quickly spiral out of control with 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:all sorts of artifact shenanigans. Akiri, Line-Slinger is your first partner, a two-mana commander with first strike and vi🦋gilance and whose power is entirely dependent on how many artifacts you control.
Followin⛄g Akiri is Silas Renn, Seeker Adept, a 𒁏three-mana artifact creature that allows you to cast artifacts from your graveyard after it deals combat damage to a player. The two of these commanders synergize nicely together to reward you for your artifact-themed deck.
Since you’re in red, you have access to all sorts of Treasure token-making shenanigans through cards like Dockside Extortionist and Goldspan Dragon. With all these Treasures floating around, you can sneak in a knock-out through commander damage thanks to Akiri. If you're looking for a more sustained source of damage, utilize cards like Mayhem Devil and Disciple of the Vault to slowly ping your opponents to death when you use your Treasure tokens.
3 Bjorna, Nightfall Alchemist And Wernog, Rider's Chaplain
Another duo to come from the Stranger Things Secret Lair, 🎉the friends forever commanders of Bjorna, Nightfall Alchemist and Wernog, Rider’s Chaplain bring together two unique mechanics to take down your opponents.
Bjorna can tap and sacrifice an artifact to deal one damage to a creature, goading it so it must attack an opponent the next time it can. Wernog on the other hand has a𓆏n enter the battlefield trigger allowing each opponent to investigate. Those who don’t lose one life while you investigate for each opponent who also did.
Together, you can set up some powerful enter the battlefield triggers🗹 to keep drawing cards while goading creatures you don’t want attacking you to keep the heat off for a bit. You can use the background Candlekeep Sage and the enchantment Teleportation Circle to keep flickering Wernog, giving𒉰 you triggers both when it leaves play and when it comes back in.
Then, with all t🍨hose Clue 📖tokens in play, you can start sacrificing them to Bjorna to goad creatures you don’t like. While the two might take a little bit of setup to get going, you’ll be able to create a reliable engine with a little work.
2 Kraum, Ludevic's Opus And Tymna The Weaver
As it turns out, 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:drawing cards in Commander is really good, so why not reward you for doing so while punishing your opponents? With Kraum, Ludevic&rsq♌uo;s Opus an𓂃d Tymna the Weaver you can do just that.
Kraum draws you a card whenever an opponent casts their second spell in a turn. This can trigger for any player on any turn, so if one opponent counters two of your spells, you get to draw a card. Or if another opponent casts two spells during another player’s turn, you still get to draw a card. Then Tymna lets you pay life to draw cards on your postcombat main 🐲phase equal to the number of players that were dealt combat damage this turn.
Fitting more into a Stax or control archetype, Kraum and Tymna help keep your hands full by locking down the board and protecting your commanders with a wide range of counter spells. A common win condition that is easy to assemble is with Thassa's Oracle, emptying your library of cards to win off of its enter the battlefield trigger.
1 🗹 Breya, Etherium Shaper
The original four-colored commander, Breya, Etherium Shaper is a pure combo card, synergizing with all sorts o🉐f powerful artifacts to help secure your victory. When Breya comes into play, you get🐽 to create two Thopter artifact creature tokens. Then, you pay two mana and sacrifice two artifacts to pick one of three abilities to use, one of them being able to deal three damage directly to an opponent.
One of the easiest combos to assemble with Breya is with Nim Deathmantle and Ashnod’s Altar. Nim Deathmantle lets you pay four mana to return the equipped creature to the battlefield when it dies, and Ashnod’s Altar provides two generic m𒅌ana when yo💖u sacrifice a creature to it.
All you have to do is sacrifice your two Thopters to the Altar to gain four mana, then, with Nim Deathmantle equipped to Breya, sacrifice Breya to the Altar for a total of six mana. 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:The equipment brings Breya back to play and automatically reequips itself back to Breya, while also creat💙ing two new Thopter tokens. Keep sacrificing all your Thopters until you have an obscene amount of mana and then start acti꧂vating Breya’s abilities to drain your opponents.
