There are plenty of different archetypes in the 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Magic: The Gathering Commander format, with Treasure being one of the more popular ones. Trea𝔉sure decks, as the name implies, are built around flooding your battlefield with Treasure tokens. These are used either with specific🙈 effects that can interact with artifacts, or used to ramp into high-mana spells.
Most Treasure decks will at tꦦhe very least always have red, with the rest of the colors more varied. Oftentimes, Treasure decks also include either blue and/or black, with green popping up sparingly. Treasure decks offer a ton of different play styles, allowing for a lot of variants for the archetype.
Updated May 11th, 2022 by Johnny Garcia: Magic: The Gathering's Streets Of New Capenna set has come into the game and with it a plethora of new cards have made a splash in just about every format. For Commander, decks revolving around Treasure have gotten a huge boost, the set bringing in a ton of support cards for the archetype. This includes cards that can be included in the 99, and even be used as the commander. With Streets Of New Capenna and more sets still to come, Treasure Commander decks are looking to be in a good space in the Commander format, with tons of different ways to build them.
15 𒐪 Juri, Master Of The Revue
Juri😼, Master Of The Revue is a low cost Rakdos (red/black) commander, only requiring one ♎black and one red mana to cast. Once it hits the field, it immediately starts making an impact. Whenever you sacrifice a permanent, it gets a +1/+1 counter.
It also makes Juri a threat as whenever it dies, it deals damage equal to its power to any target. Since you have to sacrifice a Treasure token to use them, this makes Juri, Master Of The Revue become a big issue by ꧃♐simply playing the game as you would normally.
14 Vazi, Keen Negotiator💝 ꦛ
Vazi, Keen Negotiator was included in the Streets Of New Capenna Commander deck as an alte𝐆rnate com𓄧mander and is a great one for Treasure strategies. It has a bit of a grouphug theme to it as well, as you can tap Vazi to give your opponent Treasure tokens equal to the amount of treasure you made that turn.
This helps you in the long run, as when an opponent uses a spell or ability casts using mana from a Treasure, you put a +1/+1 counter on any creature and draw a card. This doesn't trigger once per turn, allowing you to boost up your battlefield all while refilling your hand with more cards.
13 Jolene, The Plund💝er Queen
Jolene, The Plunder Queen does a whole lot to benefit you. Jol🃏ene will keep you safe and encourage your opponents to attack the players in a game, as they will get a Treasure token for doing so. Whenever you create a Treasure token, you will get an addition one as well. You can even sacrifice five Treasure tokens to give Jolene five +1/+1 counters.
The Treasure duplication effect can be stacked with other cards like Xorn, allowing you to get multiple Tr🌌easure with one simple activation of a spell ca▨rd if Jolene is on the field.
12 🔯 ꦚ Ziatora, The Incinerator
Jund (red/black/green) was a big winner for Treasuܫre decks with the release of Streets Of New Capenna, and Ziatora is one of the best commanders for Treasure decks in the format. During your end step, by sacrificing a𝐆 creature you can deal damage equal to its power to any target while creating three Treasure tokens.
Ziatora ca🎃n get out of hand very quickly, especially when mixed with other sacrifice synergies with cards like Riveteers Ascendancy to replace the creature you just had to sacrifice. It can trigger on-death effects easily, giving you those effects while also ramping you with Treasure tokens.
11 Ognis, The Dragon's Lash
Ognis, The Dragon's Lash is one of the best Treasure commanders that came in Streets Of New Capenna. As soon as it hits the field, Ognis can start generating multiple Treasures a turn as whenever a creature with haste attacks, you make a tapped Treasure token.
This isn't limited to one or more, meaning each creature with haste attacking will give you a Treasure. Ognis has haste itself, allowing it to build up Treasure on its own. Even though they came in tapped, the Treasure tokens can be used to ramp up early game to get to your big spells and finishers that much quicker.
10 Chatterfang, Squirrel 𝓡Generꩲal
Green and black are not the most 🌌traditional color pair when it comes to Treasure archetypes, but Chatterfang, Squirrel General makes it work. Since Chatterfang creates Squirrel tokens whenever you create a token, this turns every treasure 🍌generator into creature value.
This helps you to trigไger its other effect, as you can use all the squirrels to act as spot removal, paying for the mana cost for it with the Treasures you just created. When mixed with other cards like Academy Manufactor, you can easily flood the field with tokens.
9 🍌 Breya, Eth📖erium Shaper
Breya, Etherium Shaper is one of the best artifact commanders out there, and by extension, makes her a fantastic Treasure commander too. Breya gives you access to every color but green. This gives you the ability to play all the powerful Treasure support cards from most colors, such as Smothering Tithe 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:and Revel In Riches. With how many enchantments there are that support Treasure tokens, you'll have no shortage of cards to choose to include.
Breya, Etherium Shaper can make Treasure tokens more versat🌟ile than just being a source of mana, as her effect can turn them into removal, burn, or life gain.
8 🧜 Admiral Beckett Brass 🔥
While Admiral Beckett Brass does not directly have an ability that compliments Treasure decks, what it does offer is one of the best creature types🍎 for Treasures. Admiral Beckett Brass is the main commander for Pirates, which of♊fers a ton of effects that create Treasure tokens.
It is in Grixis (black, blue, and black) colors, which is one of the best colors you can have for Treasure decks. Since you will likely be playing with a ton of Pirate creatures, you will even be stealing the opponent's creatures while building up your Treasure stockpile.
7 ꦛ Ragavan, Nimble Pilferer
While Ragavan, Nimble Pilferer 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:warps other formats, for Coꦰmmander, it makes for a fantastic Treasure commander. It only costs one red mana to cast, and you can give it dash for one red and one generic mana so that it has haste.
When Ragavan hits, it creates a Treasure token while letting you play the top card of that opponent you hit's library. Since Ragavan, Nimble Pilferer is such a low-cost creature, this allows you to quickly build up your Treasure tokens to play out whatever cards you want.
