One of the major fallout effects from the Phyrexian Invasion of the Multiverse was the desparking of many Planeswalkers in 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Magic: The Gathering. While some willingly gave up thei🙈r spark, other 🅷Planeswalkers would have their spark stripped away unceremoniously.
Starting with March Of The Machine: Aftermath, many desparked Planeswalker🥀s have been revealed from characters new to old. Many of them found themselves stranded on whatever Plane they were last seen on with their abiliওty to travel between them stripped away. Each Planeswalker reacted differently to their spark being lost, with some of the Planeswalkers taking it hard while others settle into their new lives.
Why Did Planeswalkers Despark?
During the 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:events of Phyerxia: All Will Be One, a Planeswalker strike team traveled to New Phyrexia to try and destroy it. To do so, they utilized an artifact called the Sylex, which was capable of destroying entire Planes. Their plan backfired, and many were compleated and turned to the side of Phyrexia. Jace Beleren held the Sylex and took it to the Realmbreaker - the tree that stuck its bran⛄ches into other Planes to allow Phyꦯrexians to travel to them without needing a Planeswalker spark.
However, what remained of the strike team saw that detonating the Sylex could potentially destroy the Planes that it was already attached to. Jace decided to start the detonation despite their protests and was stopped when Elspeth Tirel stabbed him through the heart and took the Sylex in her own hands.
Before it could destroy anything, she took the Sylex with her into the Blind Eternities (the world between Planes), where it would detonate. Though it appeared to do nothing at first, the Sylex detonation was determined to be the reason that many Planeswalkers' sparks had gone dull.
