168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Magic: The Gathering is welcoming another prolific artist to its roster o🍒f illustrators, as the upcoming set Duskmourn: House Of Horrors includes a card by none other than Silent Hill’s Masuhiro Ito.

Following Pokemon’s Mitushiro Arita, Metal Gear’s Yoji Shinkawa, and the legendary mangaka Junji Ito, Masu𓆉hiro Ito is the latest in a long line of amous Japanese artists to contribute cards for the game.

Revealed at Magic’s D♍uskmourn: House Of Horror PAX West panel, Ito’s card is Damnation, a popular mono-black boardwipe that is included in the set&rꩲsquo;s rare Special Guests subset. The art shows Valgavoth, the demon lord who has taken control of the House of Duskmourn, in all his corrupted, mothy horror.

Ito has a long history of worജking on the Silent Hill series, having worked as the first three games’ monster designer, and taking over the role of art director for Silent Hill 2 and 3, and returning as the creature designer for the upcoming Silent Hill 2 remake. He’s per🃏haps best known for designing one of the series’ most famous villains, Pyramid Head.

Alongside Silent Hill, Ito has also done work on other games, like as the monster designer for Metal Gear Survive (ar🍸guably the only good thing about that game) and, oddly, an environment designer for World of Tanks.

Ito Is The Perfect Fit For Duskmourn

Ito is the perfect artist✃ to contribute to this set. Duskmourn is set in a near-infinite haunted mansion of the same name,ꦗ after the demon Valgavoth expanded its rooms and walls to take over the entire world. Ghosts, monsters, and survivors all run about its halls, for one big, terrifying set inspired by horror from the 1980’s to the present day. Even Valgavoth himself looks like something that could’ve appeared in a Silent Hill game, so having Ito provide art of him makes this one of the most exciting cards we’ve seen so far.

Duskmourn marks an increased involvement from Japanese artists in Magic, as it will also be introducing the Japan Showcase – alt-art treatments pri🧸marily intended for Japan that will be released exclusively through Collector boosters starting with the set. Ito’s card is not in this &ndashꦐ; it is a Special Guest that can be found in Play boosters.

Alongside Ito, we also got our first look at the mechanics of Duskmourn, and other art treatments. A particular favourite of mine are the Lurking Evil cards, which hide monsters in the background to recreate the sense of a jumpscare when you finally notice them snaꦐrling back at you.

Duskmourn: House Of Horror launches on Septembe☂r 27. Its preview season kicked off today, and over the next ten days we’ll see everyꦚthing the set has to offer.
