After Nicol Bolas escaped from his prison in the Tarkir: Drago✅nstorm story, could we also be seeing the Eldrazi corrupting the multiverse once again in the upcoming sci-fi set, Edge of Eternities?

Grab An All Is Dust Sleeve While You Can

Each day, MTG💝 Arena features a new set of discounts on cosmetics and currency. You often see art treatments, pets, sleeves, and avatars on sale, but they all sometimes follow a shared theme. For instance, a theme of mana rocks could see cards like Replicating Ring and Arcan𓆉e Signet go on sale, or the day could offer a whole host of different Elves.

Today's deals look odd. The entire cycle of five 'spacic' lands from Unfinity are on offer, alon🦩gside the Murders at Karlov Manor sleeve, an art treatment for Fear of Infinity from Duskmourn: House of Horror, and an All is Dust sleeve. There doesn't seem to be a unifying theme to aꦫll of them, until you remember about this summer's set, Edge of Eternities.

Are The Eldrazi Coming Back?

Edge of Eternities is the first time Magic is tackling an outer s𝓡pace setting, with the whole set based in The Edge, a galaxy outside of the known multiverse that still borders on the Blind Eternities - the space between planes like Ravnica, Dominaria, and Kamigawa. From this, every single one of today's daily deals 💞can be tied in to Edge of Eternities in some way.

The Spacic lands are simple enoug🍰h to draw a line between, as both Unfinity and Edge of Eternities shared a sci-fi theme. Fear of Infinity is also easy to tie in, as The Edge is literally at the edge of the infinite vastness of the Blind Eternities.

Unfinity isn't a canonical set, so while it was also space-based, Edge of E꧙ternities is the first real time we're blast🎃ing off to the stars.

The Karlov Manor sleeve is the only one here that feels 🌠a bit of a stretch, but there is a link to Edge of Eternities here too. Niv-Mizzet on Ravnica is attempting to harness the power of Omenpaths - wormholes between planes - to have Ravnica replace Dominaria as the metaphysical centre of the multiverse. Perhaps this power play from Niv-Mizzet will hav♏e bigger repercussions than we expect?

All Is Dust Secret Lair card.

That leaves the one that brings everyone's favourite cosmic horror enemies back into Magic: All is Dust. This sleeve uses alt-art printed in a Secret Lair drop, and shows the Eldrazi Titan Emrakul laying waste to the♍ world. The Eldrazi are vast, unknowable creatures that live in the Blind Eternities (which The Edge has a strong connection to), and any time they interact with planes results in disaster as their corruption spreads across the world.

The Eldrazi haven't been a major influence in Magic's story for quite a while, with the last we saw of them being when Emrakul spoke to Jace Beleren before hiding dormant inside Innistrad's moon. Jace seemingly died, or at least lost his physical form, during Tarkir: Dragonstorm, so it's possible that this, and the 🌠battering the Blind Eternities has taken since March of the Machine, has reawoken Emrakul.

In short: everything on sale oཧn Arena🥂 could be tied into Edge of Eternities, with the final piece of the puzzle being the Eldrazi, who were already heavily predicted to return in the set thanks to the setting's close links to their home of the Blind Eternities.

Arena Loves To Tease Sets

If this all sounds like a stretch, consider that Arena has teased upcoming sets as recently as this year. In January, it ran a series of deals that could be connected to the then-rumoured Avatar: The Last Airbender set. Just over a month later, the set was 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:formerly revealed. With this in mind, it's incredibly 🙈likely this is an oblique reference to Eꦇdge of Eternities.

The story currently has a lot of active villains, like Oko, Valgavoth, Nicol Bolas, and potentially Jace and Niv-Mizzet also being up to nothing good. It could be that the story is gearing up for something of an anti-Gatewatch, with the Eldrazi just one of many returning antagonists in the build up to this story🌠 arc's big conclusion in the third set next year.

Edge of Eternities launches on August 1, 2025.
