With some changes to how these sets are handed and a few updates on what they have included in them, we decided to give this piece a bit of a revamp so we have all the accurate information you need to plan out your next Magic investment.

3 ဣ Final Fant🤡asy

Release Date: June 13, 2025

Much like 16♈8澳洲幸♔运5开奖网:The Lord of the Rings: Tales of Middle-earth, the Final Fantasy 🐲Universes Beyond expansion is a massive endeavor coming with commander decks, a full set, collector boosters and more, making it a tentpole set for the game. The Final Fantasy set will include characters from all across Final Fantasy's history but will stick to the mainline games for the most part. You can expect characters like Tidus, Terra, Cloud, Sephiroth, and even monsters like the Tonberry and Sin to be cards.

A big deal with this set is that it will be the first Universes Beyond set to release directly into the Standard format, making it Magic's 105th main expansion. This massive change was made after the set had been designed, so there's a chance that some exඣceptionally powerful cards could make it into Standard.

It has been confirmed ♒that a full suite of Commander decks coming as well, with each one based around a different Final Fantasy game. The Commander decks are:

Limit Break - White/Red/Green featuring Cloud
Scions & Spellcraft - White/Blue/Black featuring Y'shtola
Revival Trance - White/Black/Red featuring Terra
Counter Blitz - White/Blue/Green featuring Tidus

2 Marvel's Spider-Man

Release Date: September 26, 2025

There has already been one Marvel Secret Lair featuring some of the greatest heroes the world has ever seen and with the upcoming Marvel's Spider-Man set, we're going to pull the focus in a bit with a set all about the webbed wonder himself. This upcoming tentpole set is a fully draftable and Standard Legal set, meaning you'll be p🔴laying with these cards for around three years after release, at least in Standard. Given the popularity of Spider-Man and his sinister villains, we'll probably see these characters for a while in Commander.

Since this is a Universes Beyond set, things will be done a little differently. It is highly unlikely that we will see anything resembling Planeswalkers in the set, and mechan🌄ics might get a slight rewording to make sure they're all user-friendly for new players. So far we've only seen a few cards from a Scene Box, a returning feature from the The Lord of the Rings: Tales of Middle-earth set that has multiple full art cards come together to create a larger image. We do have confirmation that there are going to be collector boosters, bundles, play boosters, though there won't be any Commander preconstructed decks🍬 with this set.

1 ꦿ Avatar: The Last Airbender

Release Date: November 21, 2025

As of this writing, there's not much known about what to expect from the Universes B♒eyond Avata🍷r: The Last Airbender collaboration, but that's fair since there is a lot happening ✨this year. Much like the Spider-Man and Final Fantasy Universes Beyond sets, the Avatar one is going to be a direct to Standard release, with additional product coming in the form of collector boosters and Commander decks to collect.

The set is focusing on the original Avatar: The Last Airbender animated series and won't be touching anything from The Legend of Korra, though that's not to say something could release in the form of a Secret Lair or two. One of the more interesting features of this set is going to be seeing how they work in the four elements from Avatar: The Last Airbender, air, earth, fire, and water, ꦆand make them match up with Magic's five-color system. Either way, the set is bound to be a hit given the huge success of the animated show.
