Furthermore, it can often be good to hold onto discard spells like Invasion of Eldraine until your opponent only has two or three cards in their hand anyways. This way, you have a better chance of forcing them to discard key spells like bombs and removal. There may be a place for this card in aggressive Black decks as Prickle Faeri༺es offers evasive damage and a relatively quick clock.
7 Invas꧙ion Of Innist❀rad
Four mana for a removal spell is certainly on the expensive side, but this card will at least deal with any creature thre💛at you face (even indestructible ones). As far as Sieges♑ go, the front side of the Siege needs to be playable on its own in order for the card to see any kind of constructed viability.
While Invasion of Eldraine isn't a 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:removal spell you would normally be ecstatic to play, it's passable. The real power here comes from the back side of the card which offers two Zombie tokens as soon as it's flipped. Additionally, the Siege can spit out even more Zombies as long as there are creature cards in someone's graveyard. This card will be a bomb in Limited and may just see play in some Standard decks.
6 Hoar🐭ding Broodlord ꧒
Here's a great addition for Commander players who love Dragon-themed decks. Broodlord is a big evasive threat that replaces itself with any card you want to tutor from your deck. That's already a great baseline. Add the ability to cast Broodlord with convoke on top of this and you've got a real contender for a top end threat.
That being said, eight mana is a lot to ask of any deck. Additionally, the three black pips in Broodlord's casting cost can make it difficult for even two-color decks to cast it reliably. Nonetheless, a tutor effect is powerful no matter what you're playing and Broodlord is sure to at least find a place in many Commander decks if it doesn't make the Standard cut.
5 💧 Archpriest of Shadows 𒅌
Here's an aggressive threat for black decks that will make a single combat step a nightmare for your opponent. While the backup mechanic seems lackluster for constructed as a whole, Archpriest is one of the cards featuring this mechanic that might just sneak into some builds.
The backup ability to return a creature card from your graveyard to the battlefield means that whatever creature you target with Archpriest becomes a necessary block for opponents. Combined with dea🐟thtouch, this means your opponent will be forced to trade a creature when Archpriest enters the battlefield. That being said, casting Archpriest without another creature in play feels pretty bad.
4 🦹 Breach The Multiverse 🍌
This is yet another card that 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:March of the Machine Commander players will enjoy casting. At the bare minimum, Breach is almost certain to add three of your opponents' best creatures to your side of the battlefield. In the best cases, you'll also get anywhere from one to three planeswalkers.
That's a whole lot of value for seven mana. It's hard to see a world where this card makes the cut in any format outside of Commander, but the existence of Atraxa, Grand Unifier does make for a world where it's possible Breach sees play in some Standard sideboards. It's still rather unlikely, but the possibility is there.
3 Sheoldred
This version of Sheoldred has a higher ceiling than the all powerful Sheoldred, the Apocalypse, but it also has a much lower floor. In other words, Sheoldred is very capable of winning games on its own, however, it won't do so nearly as consistently as her Apocalypse version.
Sheoldred's ETB (enter the battlefield) trigger is good but suffers from the same problems of all sacrifice effects. Most opponents will have more than two creatures on the battlefield at any given time, so it's highly unlikely you get the value you want out of this trigger.
Additionally, the high mana cost required to transform Sheoldred at sorcery speed opens you up to instant speed removal completely blowing you out. That being said, players who do manage to flip Sh♛eoldred are likely to win the game.
2 Pile On
Now this is the kind of v🅠alue we expect out of a four mana removal spell. Not only does Pile On remove creatures and planeswalkers, it also fixes your draw step foཧr future turns thanks to surveil.
It's important to note that the presence of convoke here makes this an ideal removal spell for aggressive decks. This is sure to be a staple in future Standard decks and will likely see play in Esper Legends, Mono Black Aggro, and Rakdos decks.
1 ♚ Glistening Deluge 🅷
While there are other three mana 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:board wipes available in Standard and Pioneer, none of them are quite as full-proof as Glistening Deluge. The fact that🌄 this card gives temporary negative counters allows it to get around common white and green effects like indestructi⛎ble which they often use to survive early board wipes.
