Phyrexia: All Will Be One is a return to 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Magic: The Gathering's New Phyrexia plane, one that hasn't been visited since 2011's New Phyrexia set. The return is the cultivation of a years-long story, and delivers a ton of new cards, both with new and old characters returning.
The common cards will all be legal in Magic: The Gathering's Pauper format. Like every set, there is a plethora of new commons being injected into the format. While some will not do anything due to better options, there are a lot of new commons that will be great for the format.
10 ꧃ Planar Disruption
Planar Disruption is a card that can prevent acti✅vated abilities from being activated. While the effect on creatures is decent, there☂ are many effects that do that already. However, having the versatility to also enchant artifacts is what makes Planar Disruption interesting.
Planar Disruption 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:can notably enchant artifact lands. Tapping them for mana is an activated ability, and shuts off their ability to produce mana. While this doesn't help bring down the Affinity count, it can hinder more decks that aren't using them for Affinity such as decks using them for Cleansing Wildfire to ramp.
9 Duelist Of Deep Faith ෴
Duelist Of Deep Faith is a solid card for aggressive white decks. Since it gives itself first strike on your turn, you can attack with it without fear of it being destroyed in battle. You 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:can even give it auras to make it that much more threatening.
Since it has toxic as well, it can force the opponent to need to block it, as the poison counters it gives can get out of hand if Duelist Of Deep Fait💦h is not dealt with. An opponent loses whওen they have ten poison counters, so when combined with other cards that give counters, it can become a large threat.
8 Vraska's Fall
Cards that force an opponent to sacrifice a creature are generally good, as they get around any kind of protection. While Chainer's Edict costs one less mana and has flashback, the difference with Vraska's Fall is that it is an instant.
In addition to that, it gᩚᩚᩚᩚᩚᩚᩚᩚᩚ𒀱ᩚᩚᩚives each opponent a poison counter. In slower Infect decks looking to utilize toxic 🦄and proliferate cards, this can quickly start getting the poison counters out of hand. Since when someone has ten poison counters they lose, a removal card that gets you closer to that goal is worth keeping an eye on.
7 ♚ ℱ Experimental Augury
Experimental Augury is a card that will be a staple in decks that care about counters. For just two mana you can look at the top three cards of your library, which lets you dig through your deck in order to find whatever card you might need for the game state. Afterward, you get to proliferate, which can spread things such as +1/+1 counters 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:and poison counters.
Experimental Augury is an instant as well, allowing you to keep your mana up for interaction, and at the end step when you don't need it anymore, you can use Experimental Augury to make sure you are set up on your turn.
6 ꦉ Surgical Skullbomb ℱ
Surgical Skullbomb is the best of the Skullbomb cycle. Whenever you activate one of its effects, you can draw a card by sacrif🍌icing it. Surgical Skullbomb is the best of the lot since it allows you to u🉐se it for interaction while refreshing your hand with a new card.
Since it 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:can return any creature to a hand, ♏Surgical Skullbomb can be used defensively to save one of your creatures or offensively to put an opponent back a creature to make them fall behind on mana. It can hit the battlefield very early, since it only costs one mana and lets you save it for whe♊n you want to use one of the effects.
5 Ichor♓ Synthesizer
Ichor Synthesizer is a solid card in blue decks that are casting a lot of noncreature spells. Once it has four oil counters on it, something very easily done by its own effect, you get a 3/3 flyer that can't be blocked.
This allows you to start swinging in for a lot of damage rather early on. There are many powerful one-to-two mana noncreature spells that can even boost up the power of Ichor Synthesizer, allowing you to boost its stats to deal a lot of damage that can't even be blocked.
4 🍌 Shrapnel Slinger
Shrapnel Slinger is a solid card to include in sacrifice decks. By sacrificing a creature, you can destroy any artifact an opponent controls. This is very strong in Pauper, 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:where artifact-based decks are v﷽ery strong. Since artifact lands are played frequen🦩tly, it can destroy any of the non-indestru♓ctible ones.
In addition, it can hamper the plans of decks based around Experimental Synthesizer, as by destroying it on your turn the card that gets exiled with it must be played then, and shuts off the opponent's ability to take advantage by sacrificing it themselves.
3 Anoint With Affliction 🧔
168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Anoint With Afflicti𒀰on i🤡s a fantastic remove card, and is able to exile a creature, something that is very rare for a two-mana cost. The only card with th✃e same effect that can cost the same amount of Overwhelming Remorse, which only works in graveyard decks.
Anoint With Affliction is fantastic in decks built around poison counters. Even if you don't have the corrupted threshold, it can still target a lot of creatures that are popular in Pauper, as many of the strongest have a low mana value. It exiles it as well, making it harder if not impossible to get those creatures back.
2 🉐 Bring The Ending𒅌
Bring The Ending proves to be a great ൲counterspell, especially in decks build around poison counters. If an opponent has three or more poison counters, Bring The Ending is an easier-to-cast Counterspell. Even without them, the effect is still solid in Pauper, and timing it right so the opponent can't pay mana to negate the effect of it makes it solid.
Counterspells that can target any spell are often strong and in Bring The Ending's case, being able to act as an unconditional counterspell is especially great. Most easy-to-cast counterspells only counter specific kinds of cards, so Bring The Ending, even without its corrupted effect is still good, but that effect is what pushes it over the edge.
1 ♛ 🌼 Blazing Crescendo
Blazing Crescendo is a phenomenal card, and one that slots in ▨perfectly to aggressive red decks🅘. Effects that exile a card and let you cast them later are solid, and Reckless Impulse is one of the most played cards in Pauper red decks because of it.
Blazing Crescendo gives you one less card, but the trade-off is giving one of your creatures a +3/+1 stat boost. In hyper-aggro decks, this effect is solid and can lead to massive damage being dealt o𓃲ut while getting more cards ready for you on your next turn.
