Alesha was the first openly transgender character in Magic: The Gathering. James Wyatt’s short story that accompanied the set Fate Reforged explained Alesha’♏s character a little better than her card: “She had been so different – only sixteen, a boy in everyone’s eyes but her own, about to choose and declare her name before the khan and all the Mardu.”

Chandra has a bit of a messy publicationꦍ history when it comes to her sexuality. She was originally intended to be pansexual, and for a long t🎀ime the story was building up a relationship between her and Nissa Revane.
Unfortunately, that intention got erased when Wizards of the Coast released War of the Spark: Foresaken, a novel by Greg Weismann that described her as being exclusively heterosexual. Eventually, the matter was rectified when, in the Innistrad: Midnight Hunt storyline, Chandra was implied to have begun a relationship with the cathar Adeline. Chandra was later featured on a card from Secret Lair: ♓Pride Across The Multiverse.
7 Kynaios 🌠and Tiro of Meletis
Unlike the majority of characters on this list, this pair are not planeswalkers. Long before the Mending era (the current age of Magic's story), on the plane of Theros, a pair of lovers that saved Meletis from a tyrannical ruler.
Kynaios and Tiro inspired enough people to challenge the immortal Agnomakhos and overthrow his rule. After the archon’s fall, Meletis became a beacon of freedom for all of ಞTheros. A pair of staꦑtues would be erected in their honor at the mouth of a river leading out to the ocean.
Unfortunately, history would forget the love between Kynaios and Tiro, and eventually they would be descrꦆibed as fueding generals of enemy armies rather than the lovers they truly were.
6 Niko Aris
Niko Arist first appeared in the Norse-inspired set Kaldheim, however they are from the city Kynaois and Tiro founded;. Meletis on the plane of Theros. A non-binary Planeswalker, Niko’s story is relatable for a lot in the LGBT community. They had a specified destiny set in place by the168澳洲幸运5开奖网: powerful Klothys, God of Destiny, but learned that they didn’t have to f꧋ollow this predetermined plan. They deliberately followed their own path, facing the ire of both Klothys and her champion, Kalix.
Ni☂ko met the planeswalker Kaya on Kaldheim where the two formed a bond after saving one another, and later the entire plane of Kaldheim.

One of the planeswalke♏rs with the most cards in MTG’s histor🧜y, Nissa Revane is the quintessential green planeswalker. She’s an elf from Zendikar who feels the existence of her home plane as if it is a part of her, and will go to any length🔯s to protect the land. As a member of the Gatewatch, she is as protective of her home as she is of other planes.
The same controversy from the🌠 War of the Spark novel that surrounded Chandra also affected Nissa, as 🦩they had formed a close relationship prior to the novel and even professed their love for one another. Sadly, Nissa has yet to pursue another relationship in the same way Chandra has.
4 Ral Zarek
Ral Zarek comes from one of the most popular planes in all of Magic: The Gathering – Ravnica. Ral gained control of the Izzet League after its former leader Niv-Mizzett became the new Living Guildpact, the binding entity that keeps all the guilds t🌳o♊gether.
Members of the Izzet were uneasy with Ral’s romantic relationship, as it was with🌠 Tomik Vrona, a wealthy Orzhov property owner who now serves as its guildmaster.
However, Tomik and Ral eventually married when their relationship became public knowledge, and the two 🧸share an apartment together.
3 Sa🌳heeli Rai
This inventor and Planeswalker comes from Kaladesh, the same plane that Chandra was born on. Sometime before War of the Spark, Saheeli Rai and Huatli, from the dinosaur-dominated plane of Ixalan, began a relationship togetheꦺr.
Their relationship is featured on the Secret Lair: Pride Across The Multiverse card Heartbeat of Spring, and also told in the release's accompanying story, .
The two met on Kaladesh in the city of Ghirapur after Huatli’s first planeswalk, and it didn’t take long for Saheeli to be smitten with Huatli. Fascinated by Huatli's description of dinosaurs, Saheeli got to work created artificial constructs of the beasts right there on Kaladesh.

Vadrik o🌠f Nephalia is an Astronomancer from the plane of Innistrad, who lives in a lighthouse where he studies Innistrad’s moon and the then-growing Eternal Night. This is good for the people of Innistrad, as it helps give insight to werewolves and can offer humans more protection against them.
Vadrik is an openly gay꧂ man married to Hailin from Lambholdt. The two are featured in Margaret Killjoy’s story . Vadꦿrik is also good friends with the werewolf planeswalker, Arlinn Kord.

Will Kenrith is a fascinating planeswalker from Eldraine. Not only does he share his pl🧸aneswalker spark with his twin sister Rowan, but also, during his time at Strixhaven, was 🐷forced to replace his severed leg with one made of ice that constantly requires his focus to maintain.
Will𒐪 is also heavily implied to be gay or bisexual in the novel Throne of Eldraine novel, The Wildered Quest. A brief excerpt reads: “Will felt the familiar ache, seeing his friends riding toget🎉her. It had been so much easier to be companions when they were younger, not to wrestle with the complicated, intense feelings each friend raised in him now: accomplished, attractive Titus and brilliant, beautiful Cerise.”
