Bastion Protector is one such way, forcing opponents to take care of this creature before they can have a go at your Commander. It's unfortunate that Protector only comes with three toughness as it makes him susceptible to 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:most removal, but he's still a welcome addition to any Commander deck that needs its Commander to stick to the battlefield.

This card would be more flavorfully appropriate if it were called 'Plowshares to Swords' for the Warhammer 40K universe, but that cosmetic mistake aside, this is still one of the best removal spells ever printed in the game. Exile is the most reliable removal effect as it gets around keywords like indestructible and prevents opponents from bringing the creature back from their graveyard in some manner.
The life gain might be a turn-off, but there won't be too many cases in which it's relevant. Most Magic games, especially Commander games, end when one player manages to leverage superior resources against their opponents, and life total is rarely a resource that provides any leverage at all.

The relatively high presence of enchantment removal in Commander makes this card less reliable than it might seem at first glance, but the fact that you get value from it when you cast it makes it quite playable. This card is likely best suited for 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:control decks looking to run their opponents out of cards, as it's capable of presenting a lethal board twice on its own, assuming you have a large pool of mana to dump into it.
5 Triumph Of Saint Kath𝕴erine ♋
Speaking of cards best suited for control, Saint Katherine brings back the beloved miracle mechanic in the form of a valuable creature. Miracle effects have almost always leaned toward instant and sorcery cards in the past, so it's cool to see miracle brought back to life on a creature card.
Saint Katherine's miracle cost is an astoundingly low one generic and one white for a 5/5 lifelink creature. That's a creature that pretty much any deck would play due to the sheer value you're getting for the cost. Saint Katherine's Praesidium Protectiva ability is what makes her truly shine, allowing you to cast her for her miracle cost again and again as long as your opponent doesn't exile her.
4 And They Shall Know No Fear ♐
This is a great anthem for any 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:tribal deck playing white to include in their deck as it provides indestructible to all creatures of a certain type on your side of the battlefield. There's no other card in all of Magic that has this effect for the low cost of two mana, so tribal decks playing white ought to rejoice.
Beyond helping your board dodge wrath effects, this anthem also provides ♐all of your creatures of the chosen type with an additional point of power until end of turn. This makes it great to use as an alpha strike (lethal attack) or surprise block as well. All things considered, this is one of the best combat tricks that has seen print in some time.

Celestine is a card that triggers itself, and cards thaꦐt provide the means to trigger their own abilities already have a reputation of being powerful. Fl🌠ying, lifelink, and a 3/4 body are all already powerful attributes on their own, but the added value that her Healing Tears ability provides makes Celestine especially deadly.
While Celestine can trigger herself using her lifelink ability, she's best used in a deck that has other means of gaining life as you can then take advantage of her Healing Tears ability the turn she enters the battlefield. There's nothing better than cards that provide immediate value.
1 Vexilus Praetor 🍌
We end where we began with yet another creature who provides protection for your Commander. However, Vexilus Praetor is much better at providing protection than its Bastion Protector counterpart. Firstly, Praetor literally gives your Commander protection from everything, meaning that even cards that exile can't touch your Commander.
Secondly, Vexilus comes with flash, meaning that you can instantly play this creature in response to an opponent targeting your Commander with removal. That's a free two-for-one trade waiting to happen. Lastly, Vexilus Praetor has the all-important marker of four toughness, making him capable of standing up against many common removal spells like Lightning Bolt. For the glory of the Commander!
