Golgari Assassin
Vraska was caught in a mass arrest at an early age, 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:after the Azorius Senate decreed that those who clai🍬med allegiance to the Golgari Swarm were to be arrested due to concerns over its growing influence. Vraska was thrown into an Azori♍us prison, which became overcrowded and saw riots break out.
Vraska and others were taken away to a more secure holding area, though the riots did not stop as the guards became more and more abusive. Plans for a prison break started to form, and fellow Golgari prisoners helped to free Vraska, but this helped the guards to see who was the most important Golgari among the prisoners. They singled out Vraska and began beating her to near-death, igniting her Planeswalker spark and planeswalking away to a mysterio𝔉us swamp on another Plane.
She returned to Ravn📖ica two years later, with a creed of "a person should die the death they deserve." She recruited followers to help in her quest for revenge against the Azorius, and set herself up as a myth, only surfacing from the shadows when she deemed it right to, assassinating a target b🐼efore returning to the shadows.
Vraska sought to grow her team, and force 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:fellow Planeswalker Jace Beleren to her side. She tried to threaten him into joining her side, but Jace managed to escape and reveal her ♏existence to Ravnica, erasing all the work she had done to keep her life in the shadows. Afterward, she returned to the Golgari Swarm to rally them against the current 🐬Guildleader, Jarad.
Relic Seeker
Vraska found an invitation to the Meditation Plane at the House Of Ochran, her base of operations. She accepted and met with the Planeswalker Nicol Bolas, who promised to make her the Golgari Guidmaster and help her in her revenge in exchange for locating a relic on the Plane of Ixalan.
She accepted, and became a member of the Brazen Coalition 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:where she led a crew of pirates. She was a respected captain, using the Thaumatic Compass to help in her quest. The compass led her to Jace once again, who was shipwrecked with amnesia. Due to this, she spared his life and had him join her crew. In their travels, the two began to form a romantic relationship with one another.
They found the Golden City in the heart of Ixalan, with its defenses pulling Vraska and Jace into the water. This caused Jace's memories to return to him, with Vraska fearing what might happen to their relationship. To her relief, Jace forgave her for the past and the two grew even closer.
They met with Azor, a sphinx Planeswalker from Ravnica who had given up his Spark to create the Immortal Sun, an artifact capable of shutting off the capability of a Planeswalker to planeswalk. Vraska was about to try and kill him, but Jace, being the Living Guildpact of Ravnica, was able ﷽to banish Azor to a forgotten 🎐island, forced to spend the rest of his life there powerless.
Since Vraska was working under Nicol Bolas, she knew that he would see that she had fallen in love with Jace if he ever entered her mind. As a failsafe, Vraska asked Jace to remove all the memories she had of Jace, with Jace putting in a trigger that would restore the memories at the right time, so they could defeat Bolas. The two went their separate ways as Vraska summoned the Planeswalker Tezzeret 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:to take the 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Immortal Sun they had found to Nicol Bolas.
Vraska was correct in her assumption that Nicol Bolas would read her mind after her return to the Meditation Realm, seeing the false memories that Jace had created. Nicol Bolas was pleased with Vraska's work, calling her "Guildmaster Vraska" and telling her where the Golgari Guildmaster Jared was located.
War Of The Spark
Upon her return to Ravnica, Vraska killed Jarad and took his place as the Golgari Guildmaster. She worked with the Erstwhile and Kraul factions of the Golgari to do so, though the Devkarin were upset, as they wanted their leader to take over. The Kraul telepath Xeddick noticed the mental block inside Vraska's head and removed it, allowing her to remember Jace, Ixalan, and, most importantly, Nicol Bolas' plans.
With the knowledge of Nicol Bolas' plan to invade Ravnica, she attended the guild summit and agreed to assassinate the Orzhov Syndicate Guildmasters the Obzedat with help from fellow Planeswalkers Ral Zarek and Kaya. To assist, she led an army to Orzhova as a distraction to allow the 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:ghost assassin Kaya to take the Obzedat out.
Afterward, Nicol Bolas discovered her betrayal in her assistance. Bolas threatened to turn the Erstwhile against the Golgari and cause destruction to the entire ꦓguild. She was forced to betray Kaya and Ral Zarek, feeling regret while she chose to side with Bolas once more, thinking of Jace painfully while she did so.
Vraska finally got her revenge for her youth by killing the Azorius Guildmaster Isperia by turning her into stone. Vraska feared if she stopped working for Bolas, she would be taken out and lose her position in the Golgari. Ral Zarek invaded the Undercity to try to assassinate Vraska. She was saved by Xeddic, who sacrificed herself to buy Vraska time. The emissary of Rakdos, Hekara, was also killed by the acting Azorius Guildmaster Lavinia, who was being possessed by Nicol Bolas. Ral Zarek almost killed Vraska, but s꧟he narrowly escaped by planeswalking away.
As Vraska had retreated back to Ixalan to save her life, she was not present when Nicol Bolas' invasion of Ravnica began. Fearing that the Golgari Swarm would crumble with no leader, she ultimately chose to return to protect the Golgari. Upon her arrival, she discovered Ral Zarek and Kaya already trying to convince the Golgari to join the fight against Bolas. Though the two were skeptical after her betrayal, they agreed to her help, and Vraska united the Golgari and pledged them to assist in the war with Bolas.
The Undercity was used to protect the civilizations from the war up above. The Planeswalker Ajani and his team were the ones evacuating the surface to the Undercity. She traveled with others to convince the demon Rakdos to join the fight, but refused due to the death of his emissary Hekara. However, thanks to the Orzhov member Tomik, they were able to reanimate Hekara and turn her into a blood witch, and Rakdos agreeওd to join.
Vraska attended the ritual to empower the Living Guildpact, which required the leaders of all ten Ravnica guilds to help empower the spell. Thanks to the ritual, they were able to revive the dragon Niv-Mizzet as the new Living Guildpact, replacing Jace. She later met with Jace for the first time since Ixalan, where Jace discovered the mental block was already removed. Vraska confessed to killing Isperia despite knowing it would help Bolas, though Jace forgave her once again.
With Nicol Bolas defeated, Vraska attended the Planewide Celebration, where she met up with Jace once more where they kissed and fully followed through on their feelings for each other. This was short-lived, though, as Vraska was put on trial and ordered to capture the Planeswalker Dovin Baan, who was also working under Bolas as penance for her crimes.
At first, Vraska didn't follow through with this plan and worked with Baan once more to cement her control over the Golgari. A plan to fake his death was forged, although this was discovered by the Dimir guildmaster Lazav, who had one of his assassins finish the job and give him leverage over Vraska.
The Phyrexian Invasion
A few years after the War of the Spark, 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:the Phyrexians had begun invading other planes such as Kaldheim, Capenna, and Kamigawa. They made the biggest move on Dominaria, where they invaded and converted many Dominarians into sleeper agents in their assault. They were successful in capturing the Planeswalker and creator of Mirrodin (the plane which later became New Phyrexia,) Karn.
Once the dust settled on Dominaria, Vraska arrived with other Planeswalkers – including Jace and Kaya &꧋ndash; and agreed to assist in the offensive against New Phyrexia before it could spread to other Planes. Having fully returned to the side of good, she sought to save Karn and the Multiverse before it was too late.
When the strike team of Planeswalkers entered New Phyrexia, they were immediately split up by a planar disruption. Vraska was alone after landing on the Plane, where she was captured and taken to Sheoldred's Colosseum, where she was forced to fight an unending horde of Phyrexians.
This caused her to become infected by phyresis, and her process of compleation began. She knew she would betray everyo💎🐼ne, including her love Jace because of it.
Vraska's mind called out for help, and Jace, blinded by love, dropped everything to run after her. However, the Planeswalkers arrived too late, and phyresis was already deep in her body, progressing too far to do anything to stop it. She begged Jace to flee,༺ but he refused, instead creating an illusion of life on Ravnica to enjoy together one last time.
Unfortunately, Jace lingered too long. The two shared a kiss, and Vraska, now completely corrupted by Phyrexia, trapped him in her grasp as she stabbed him with one of her tentacles, and injected Jace with glistening oil. Jace was doomed to the same fate as Vraska, the gorgon telling him "You're as doomed as I am."
Sheoldred's Colosseum was destroyed, but Vraska was able to survive. She continued to fight for the side of Phyrexia, turning against those she came with.
