When Nissa was a child, she would have constant nightmares, something that her fellow village shunned her for. This was because Nissa was an Animist, a shaman who could communicate with the land itself. These were shunned from the village, believing that they would bring danger. Nissa fle🥂d her village before her mother could discover her secret.

Nissa would make her first connection to the land, feeling its soul. The land would show her visions coming from a mountain, where Nissa traveled to. Her friend Mazik showed up and explained that the land was hurting and needed Nissa to save it. They traveled to the mountain together but were attacked by a group of vampires. Nissa learned how to summon elementals, which allowed her to defeat them. This was her first experience with the Roil, something that the village spoke lowly of. However, Nissa discovered that the Roil was a reaction to an enemy of the Plane, and she discovere🦋d that she was abl꧅e to calm it down.

Upon reaching the mountain, she parted ways with Mazik to face what was inside alone. This turned out to be an Eldrazi titan, which Nissa tried to destroy. This failed as the power of the Eldrazi wrecked her mind, the trauma of it causing Nissa's spark to ignite, and she planeswalked for the first time.

Nissa wound up on the Plane of Lorwyn. It was here she immediately felt a pain coming from the land. She felt a disturbance within it, the Great Aurora that would turn Lorwyn into the darker side of Shadowmoor. Niss൩a was forced to hunt with a group of elves that were killing boggarts. Before she co💦uld talk to the elves about this, the Great Aurora came. While she thought about staying and learning more about the land, she felt her ability to planeswalk return and Nissa decided to planeswalk away back to Zendikar.

Fighting The Eldrazi

After returning to Zendikar, Nissa has a period of peaceful life. This was interrupted when villages near her own began to disappear. An emergency meeting was called, where the entire village was attacked by an Eldrazi brood. The leader of the tribe, Suntina, was killed in the attack, and Nissa stepped༺ up to take the role. She led them to investigate the other vill♏ages, which would lead to all but Nissa being killed by the Eldrazi.

Nissa would have been killed, but the Planeswalker Sorin Markov arrived and saved her. Sorin requested Nissa to take him to the Eye Of Ugin, a cavern that held a spell that could impression the Eldrazi. On the path to the Eye Of Ugin, they teamed up with a group of goblins and a Kor woman named Smara, who were on the eye to the Eye Of Ugin themselves to free a witch vessel in a crystal ꧂Smara carried.

They were forced to flee by boat after being ambushed. Goblins on board the vessel ♌began disapp🥃earing after the food was quickly exhausted. It was on the boat that Sorin revealed that he was a Planeswalker just like Nissa, and told her that he was on Zendikar to put the Eldrazi Titans back down in the ground.

They arrive in Akoum, the location of the Eye Of Ugin. They were stopped by Brinelin, a moon Kraken who denied them access and demanded a tribute. Sorin killed one of the goblins, but Brinelin deemed it not worthy enoug🦄h. Nissa told the Kraken of her lost friends and the threat the Eldrazi posed, and allowed them to pass. The group was captured by a group of elves, but managed to escape when they were attacked by an Eldr🐬azi brood.

They traveled through the caverns but were attacked by a group of Nulls, vampires of Zendikar, and Nissa was captured. The Null said they were hunting the Mortifier, who would eventually turn out to be Sorin himself. However, Nissa believed them to be talking about Anowon, a vampire they were traveling with. Nissa was res🌌cued, and they made it to the Eye Of Ugin.

At the Eye Of Ugin, Sorin prepared a spell to reinforce the prison containing the Eldrazi. Howeve🐬r, Nissa betrayed him and instead broke ꦍthe Hedron that was keeping the Eldrazi Titans inside the prison, believing they would flee Zendikar. However, this proved false, and Sorin left Zendikar to deal with his own business after the betrayal. She swore that she would find Sorin and bring him back to Zendikar to help fight the Eldrazi. She left Zendikar in search.

Upon returning to Zendikar two years later, Nissa returned to the Joraga tribe, but the tribe was attacked by the Eldrazi Titan Ulamog and his brood, killing them all but Nissa. Feeling immense guilt over freeing the Eldrazi, Nissa vowed to use her magic to save Zendikar and the Multiverse. She summoned a particular Elemental that she named Ashaya. Normally, the Elementals Nissa summoned would return to the land after a battle, but Ashaya stayed. Ashaya taught Nissa how to use the leylines that could help her defeat the Eldrazi.

During a battle with Ulamog's troops, Ashaya would be destroyed and she felt her connection to the land leave her. She arrived at the Tazeem Sea Gate (a region of Zendikar) and began helping the Kor and Merfolk there, but were almost killed by Eldrazi broods. Luckily, they were saved when the Planeswalker Gideon Jura arrived. She sensed that Gideon was a Planeswalker, and questioned in hopes that he may know why she could not communicate with the land anymore. However, this was a skill only Nissa had, and this led her to go to the Khalni Heart. She successfully 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:re-establi🦋shed her connection to the Plane but was attacked by Ob Nixilis, a former Planeswalker trying to ge𝔍t his spark back from it. Nissa defeated him and managed to revive Ashaya and the two returned to assist Gid𓄧eon and the Sea Gate army in taking back the city.

They were joined here by the Planeswalker Jace Beleren who activated the hedron to trap Ulamog after Nissa unearthed them. The plan worked until Ob Nixilis returned and put himself between them, successfully re-igniting his spark. All of them were defeated when Ob Nixilis coaxed the Eldrazi Titan Kozilek to their location to destroy their offensive. Kozilek was capable of distorting reality, which caused too ༺much strain to fight back. They were all defeated b💎y Ob Nixilis, with the demon declaring he would have left peacefully if Nissa had not stopped him earlier. He captured them all and took them hostage in a cave on Zendikar.

Joining The Gatewatch

Nissa, Jace, and Gideon were all tortured in the cave, saved by the Planeswalker Chandra Nalaar. The group of four decided that they would be able to save the Multiverse from threats by working together, and together they formed the Gatewatch, becoming the first four members. Niss✱a gave the oath, "For the l🧸ife of every plane, I will keep watch."

Though Jace had promised to not harm the Eldrazi or allow them to escape, he knew he could not keep it, and he and the Gatewatch decided it would be better to kill the Eldrazi Titans instead. They managed to entrap them on Zendikar, and by using the leylines of the Plane, Chandra used her heightened magic to set them ablaze. This destroyed two of the three Eldrazi Titans Ulamog and Kozilek, with only Emrakul surviving who had been missing fr🧜om Zendikar before the attack on the Titans began.

It was discovered that Emrakul was on the Plane Innistrad, who had been summoned onto the Plane. They tried to defeat Emrakul in the same way previously, but the leylines of Innistrad disobeyed her, unlike Zendikar's. Emrakul almost bested the Gatewatch, but they were saved by the Planeswalker Liliana with an army of zombies. Nissa knew that Emrakul was too big to be destroyed, remembering the Eldrazi that made her spark ignite. They decided that they would instead trap Emrakul in the moon, Nissa put a sigil on the moon and with the help of the Planeswalker Tamiyo, was successful in placing the Titan inside, enꦦtrap♛ping it there for the foreseeable future.

After the Eldrazi problem was solved, Nissa took residence in Ravnica, though felt strange on the plane due to being so far away from nature. She met the Planeswalker Dovin Baan, who traveled with her to Kaladesh to search for Chandra and Liliana who had left prior. Nissa helped Chandra and Liliana flee from arrest, where Liliana angrily condemned Liliana for enabling Chandra's recklessness.

Nissa worked with Chandra to save her mother Pia Nalaar from imprisonment. They succeeded in finding the prison, but Baral, an officer of the law, was already waiting for them after being tipped off by Dovin Baan. They were captured, but saved by the Planeswalker Ajani Goldmane. The Gatewatch was successful in saving Pia and helping with the Aether Revolt on Kaladesh, saving the Plane from the corrupt government.

Afterward, she and the Gatewatch traveled to the Plane Amonkhet to confront the dragon Planeswalker Nicol Bolas. Upon arrival, Nissa knew right away that the Plane was hurt.ꦜ The God Hazoret assisted the Gatewatch from an attack of zombies, where she fully connected with the Plane and discovered Amonkhet had a curse plaguing it.

She finds herself in the God Kefnet's temple where she unknowingly starts the God's trial. It was here that Nissa found herself attuned with blue mana. During the trial, Kefnet himself showed up, angry that she had ignored some of the trials at hand. He would have killed her if not for Nissa mana🧔ging to manipulate him enough to allow her 🍸to flee.

They found Nicol Bolas, discovering that he had been creating an army of zombies called Eternals that kept their skills when they were alive. However, they were promptly defeated - Nicol Bolas, in control of the leylines, used them to overpower her. She was narrowly saved by Gideon and Planeswalked away to Dominaria.

War Of The Spark

On Dominaria, she angrily confronted Liliana upon discovering that she was using the Gatewatch to get out of the contracts she had with multiple demons. When she learned the demon Belzenlok, one of the contract holders was on Dominaria, this put Nissa over the edge, 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:claiming that Lilian🦂a was becoming a threat like Nicol Bolas. With that, she renounced her oath and left the Gatewatch, returning back home to Zendikar. Jace tried to get Nissa to reconsider on Zendikar, but she refused, only brought back into the conflict by the activation of the Interplanar Beacon that forced her to Ravnica. Trapped, she rejoined the fight again Nicol Bolas in the War Of The Spark.

During the war, Nissa made the hometree of the Selesnya Vitu-Ghazi into an Elemental to fight off the Dreadhorde. She managed to destroy the statue that Bolas had created and boosted Ravnican morale, but the tree was destroyed when Bolas brought the God-Eternals to Ravnica with the Planar Bridge.

They retreated and Planeswalkers and Ravnicas alike figured out a plan of action, with Nissa rejoining the Gatewatch here. Everyone split up into different groups, with Nissa a part of the group to convince the neutral guilds to join the fight. She tried to convince the Selesnya but was rejected due to the destruction of Vitu-Ghazi. Nissa helped to repair the leylines to generate power for the Living Guildpact in order to revive the Dragon Niv-Mizzet. Nissa survived and attended both the Planewide Celebration for the victory over Bolas as well as Gideon's memorial on Theros.

After the War Of The Spark, Nissa returned to Zendikar where she met the Kor Planeswalker Nahiri, briefly bonding. This was soured by Nahiri's want to stop the Roil even if it hurt nature. Nahiri had also accidentally killed an Elemental friend of Nissa, and her lack of care turned Nissa against her. She went to Ravnica to try and get Jace's help, but he wanted to learn more about the artifacts Nahiri held much to Nissa's frustration.

Jace eventually arrived on Zendikar to assist Nissa. They saved a falling Kor named Akiri at the Murasa Skyclave, where Nissa gave chase to Nahiri, leaving the two behind. She found herself in the Singing City, where the core energy of Zendikar was channeled with leylines. Nissa destroyed the focal point with the help of Ashaya and other Elementals. Jace arrived with Nahiri, interested in researching the Lithoform Core.

However, Nsisa attacked them and forced them to retreat. Jace had taken control of Nahiri's mind and made her surrender the Lithoform Core to him. He returned to Nissa to tell her he was taking it back to Ravnica to study it, but the Lithoform Core was taken by Ashaya who gave it to Nissa. Before Jace could take control of Nissa's mind or Nahiri could attack her, Nissa used the Lithoform Core's power. The entire Singing City turned to dust and forest ash. However, the Elementals began moving, with nature springing back to new life. The damage caused by the Eldrazi was gone, and Zendikar was healing.

Later on, Nissa arrived in Dominaria during the second Phyrexian Invasion of Dominaria. She assisted in holding back the Phyrexian forces from reaching the Temporal Anchor in Urza's Tower. Nissa🌠 was able to tap into the land of Dominaria after the God Gae deemed her worthy of controlling it, allowing her to hold the Phyrexians back. Although, this made her feel the immense hatred of Phyerxians that Gaea had.
