Nintendo was always going to make a big deal out of Mario’s 35th anniversary, and a lot was expected of the company when it announced a Super Mario Direct exclusively dedicated to the world’s most famoꦜus plumber.
That Nintendo Direct ended up announcing the highly antici💛pated🀅 Super Mario 3D All-Stars collection, a Super M🥃ario 3D World re-release, and the battle royale-styled Super Mario Bros. 35. It also featured some other Mario related merchandise, like the Mario Kart Live: Home Circuit, a Game & Watch console, LEGO sets, clothing, and even some commemorative pins for early buyers of the Ma🔜rio 3D collection.
However, that’s not where it ends for Nintendo when it comes to celebrating its most prized character. A Reddit user named Nukatha recently discovered a nifty musical ꦜEaster egg hidden in the Nintendo Switch’s menus - although this pa📖rticular sound effect is currently only available for those with European or Australian Nintendo accounts registered on their Switch.
As seen in the video, the Easter egg consists of having the Switch’s clicks🐎 play out the first few beats of the Super Mario theme when scrolling through a specific piece of news. Musically inclined Switch owners might notice the Easter egg is missing o🐲ne final note, but that doesn’t make Nintendo’s surprise any less amusing.
For those who are curious, this Easter is apparently not present in other parts of the Switch’s menus and is region-specific. With this year almost at an end, Nintendo is wrapping up in great fashion by finally showing Mario Fans what its 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Supe♐r Nintendo World theme🎀 park will look like, all with a guided intro tour by Mario cre🐼ator Shigeru Miyamoto.
With Mario celebrations practically over, Nintendo fans might want to turn their attention to another franchise 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:turning 35 soon: The Legend of Zelda. All the Mario-inspired games, content, and merchandise released this year are good enough reasons to have Zelda fans excited ⭕for what could be a great year for Mario’s slightly younger sibling.
