It seems like Peach is somewhat naïve when it comes to Bowser, but both she and Mario should know better considering how often he is the root of the majority of problems that plague their land.
5 Treats The Yoshis Badly 🐟
It's one thing to treat your siblings badly since sibling rivalry is mostly expected even in the world of video games. On the other hand, it's far less acceptable to treat those who raised you with love and care with the same level of disrespect. Most of the regular citizens and creatures of the Mushroom Kingdom are in no shape to be taking on Bowser, but Mario is willing to put their bodies and lives on the line simply because Cappy gave him this power. Mario could take an ethics lesson from Spider-Man once in a while.

There may not be a consistent military or law enforcement organization in the Mushroom Kingdom, but there are more than enough powerful beings to create some kind of Justice League-style protective detail against Bowser and his minions. Instead, Mario chooses to enlist the ♚help of civilian Toads mor🎀e often than not, the majority of which either become victims very quickly or are in no shape to help Mario in the first place.

One of the things Mario never doꦛes that makes him arguably the worst hero in all of gaming history is the fact he never holds Bowser accountable for his actions. Instead of doing the sensible thing and imprisoning him or even just banishing him from the Mushroom Kingdom, Mario and Peach just let Bowser walk away after every defeat and let him get 🐈his eventual revenge, allowing the cycle of violence to continue over and over again.
