Tee off is underway in 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Mario Golf: Super Rush as Nintendo's hit golf experience turns every Switch into a full-blown Country Club, resplendent with seven full golf courses and two brand new modes to keep fans busy for quite some time. To unlock all the various courses, however, you will first have to complete the main story of the game, called Golf Adventure, wherein you play as a young golf prodigy on the rise to becoming the next Jack Nicklaus.
To begin, you will be tasked with an assortment of game-readying tutorials, showing you the ropes of driving, putting, and chipping — but not everything is as cut and dry in these initial golf lessons. After you have the basics down, you will have to finish three holes of the Beginner's Course at five over par, which isn't too difficult, then complete a 10-minute round of 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Speed Golf at three over par.
Once both of these challenges are out of the way, you still have one more left to go before you can join the big leagues and enter into the Mario Golf Invitational: the Bonny Green Qualifying Round. In this, you will be timed for each shot and must finish nine holes at four over par, which means you must finish the course with a +4 or better. It's not too difficult a task, but you can make your new golfing life all the easier with these helpful hints.
Practice Makes Perfect
Before diving headlong into the qualifier, you're better off testing your luck and skill on the practice round course. This will allow you a quick three-hole exercise of normal golf on the Bonny Green, giving you some alone time with the first three holes so you can get to know the fairways a bit better.
You'll also be able to test out all of these various new skills that were thrown at you in the first five minutes of the game, most important among them being 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Mario Golf's putting mechanics.
Get The Hang Of Spin Tactics
Those initial trials don't exactly dive into spin tactics just yet, but they will still be of extreme importance to you later on in the game. You can put a spin on the ball to make certain types of shots with spin tactics. These will assist in better lies, which we will get into later, but it's always great to practice how best to utilize these different forms of shot-taking.
There are three forms of spinning the ball:
- Top Spin - press A right after pressing A to hit your shot.
- Backspin - press B right after pressing A to hit your shot.
- Super Backspin - press B twice directly after pressing A to hit your shot.
They all three have various use cases, which we will get into later in the better placement section, but for now, understand their importance꧃ ♛and try them all out on the practice course before diving into the Qualifying Round.
Boost Your Stats
Another great thing that comes out of practice is stat-boosting. The more you hit the practice course, the more your stats go up, so you're not wasting your time or dolling about before the Qualifying Round.
Pay closeꦛ attention to these specific stats, as they will be of the most important for the Bonny Green qualifier:
- Power - gives your drives and most other shots more distance.
- Speed - boosts your running capabilities for faster times on fairways.
- Control - gives your shots better placement when aiming in tough weather.
We would also recommend boosting, in particular, Spin, as well, though if you don't understand how best to utilize these forms of shots after the following guide, stick to the above three. Spin gets a bit confusing and is dependant upon the wind, so if it ends up messing your lies up, it might better to stick to standard shots for now until you can get a handle on when best to utilize Back and Topspin.
It's All In The Placement
As the above image shows, your lies are the most important aspect of Mario Golf. You hit a shot and it lands in a sand dune, or worse, in front of a tree. You're now down a shot (potentially even two), which can cost you the entire qualifying round. Nine holes is a lot to have to redo, and you want to get this just right if you want to earn a victory.
Thus, understanding how best to 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:work around weather conditions is a key aspect in ensuring you land those perfect placements. This can be done in a variety of different ways throughout the game. For the Bonny Green Qualifying Round, the wind is the worst of the problems you'll probably face, and the best way to tackle this is with Spin.
As the name implies, Backspin is the counter𒁏 to Topspin.
- Topspin best in the forward-angled wind, pushing your ball even further on a green or fairway when extra yardage is oh-so-necessary.
- Backspin is best utilized to stop your ball with a higher bounce, keeping it closer to where you aimed in the first place, but can be wicked if used improperly depending on the slope of the terrain your shot is aiming toward.
Practice makes perfect for Spin, as it is a relatively co🐬mplex form of shot-taking.
Drives and Putts
Aside from spin, you'll also want to practice Drives and Putts for the Bonny Green Qualifying Round. These two concepts aren't as complicated of a learning curve for most people, but getting them both down into a fluid rhythm is key to ensuring you go four over — or, hopefully, even better.
Putting comes down to knowing how best to use slopes to your advantage, whereas Drives have all to do with wind and the aforementioned Topsin.
In all, the Bonny Green Qualifying Round isn't at all too difficult, until you get the final two holes, which have a nasty bit of weather to deal with, but practice will make short work of that. Get a handle on placing your lies, understanding Spin, and boosting those stats so you can be well on your way to becoming the next best Mario Golf legacy.
