Toad has had a couple of home tracks in the Mario Kart series, like Toad's Turnpike and Toad's Harbor. However, we don't get to see factory-based maps all too often, especially ones that are associated with Toad. This particular map stands out as something different, and you should get the chance to play it once more.
9 Maka Wuhu
This unique course was introduced in Mario Kart 7, the 3DS installment of the series. It's part of the Star Cup, and is the first map that features a long course track that is divided into three segments, rather than the usual three laps. This charming map takes place in a landscape featured in Wii Sports Resort, Wuhu Island.
The track evolves as you drive up the mountain, beginning with a somewhat urban terrain and ending with you skydiving over the quiet ocean, all the while witnessing a beautiful sunset. These very beautiful tracks are breathtaking, and aren't very common in the series. Seeing our favorite characters, juxtaposed with these natural environments, are quite interesting and fun to play.
8 🔥 Moonview Highway
A bustling city night radiating sparkling lights is what encapsulates Moonview Highway. This particular track appears in Mario Kart Wii, and has not been recreated since. It's one of the few maps in the series that takes place on a highway and city, and it was executed in a way that makes it a joy to play.
The name “Moonview” comes from the brilliant full moon that shines over the busy nightlife. The design of the track is simply enchanting, not to mention it's a lively environment that keeps you very alert. It's about time to see this one in future installments.
7 ♋ Dry Dry Ruins 💞
The sandy hills and slopes from this map can be a challenging, yet very fun track to drive through. Coming from Mario Kart Wii, Dry Dry Ruins stands out because of its wild and vigorous layout. You’ll be driving down steep slopes, riding dash panels on the side of cave walls, avoiding collapsing columns, and more in Dry🐽 Dry Ruins.
As you drive through the track, you can enjoy views of pyramids, temples, and the Yoshi Sphinx. Without a doubt, the extremes of this track make this quite a treat to drive through. Especially with motion controls? It's totally ridiculous, but super fun nonetheless.
6 🦄 Wario Colosseum
The curvy and winding roads that make up Wario Colosseum is a distinguished track from GameCube's Mario Kart: Double Dash. This map is a part of the Special Cup and is Wario's home track in the game. The map’s rollercoaster-esque vibe is given part by its many loops, turns, hills, and music.
Its several dash panels and certain precarious spots on the road give it a special accelerating feel to the map𝓰. This map is particularly challenging, and you definitely get to refine those drifting skills. A recreated and reimagined Wario Colosseum would be mind-blowing to witness, not to mention trigger our no🌼stalgia feels.
5 🐠 Mushroom City
Another fantastic city tr♑ack from Mario Kart: Double Dash, a multi-track map that includes towers that are lit by shining stars, which gives this night a sparkling and mesmerizing effect. You can take several lanes to finish the race, which is unusual for the Mario Kart series which is a cool feature.
Additionally, the music that plays in the background adds to the fast-paced city vibe. The versatility of the map makes this one quite special, and especially fun to play with friends as 🐼you can observe which lanes they dಌecide to take.
4 🌠 Broken Pier
Arguably one of the spookiest maps of the series, Mario Kart: Super Circuit’s Broken Pier would have surely creeped out many of us back in 2001, when it came out for the Game Boy Advance♓. The track is surrounded by dark mountain ranges, with some contain🍌ing glowing haunted faces with creepy eyes.
This pier is a challenging track, as the ꧅floor is very slippery. A fascinating track, with a sinister ambience formed by the dark visual𝓀s and spooky music. Haunted Mario Kart tracks are irresistible, as we always want to know more about the lore.
3 Rainbow Road (ℱGaꦆmeCube)
What is a Special Cup without its 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:last track, Rainbow Road? The sparkly magical road up in the sky has had multiple variations over the years. This particular one has an area that resembles Mushroom City below the track, while stars♚ twinkle above the road in the night sky.
There are always new versions of this track, but we can't forget about these gems of the past. This track can be tricky to navigate, as it's a winding track and does not include safe rales in many areas. Although, this is what makes it very exciting to play, as you can't just speed your way through the race without being careful, or you'll just zoom your way towards the stars.

With each Mario Kart installment, there is a new castle for the infamous antagonist. Bowser Castle 4 for Mario Kart: Super Circuit puts you on the same level as the burning red lava, which surrounds the thin quadratic roads you're on. Simply put, this map looks like you are in the Mushroom Kingdom's version of hell.
Fans can only assume transforming this 2D retro map and renovating it for a 3D experience would be absolutely incredible. The hardcore song that plays in the background really just makes this map feel more intense, but I'm not complaining!

Rolling hills is the name of the game in this particular track, and one word in particularly comes to mind: bumpy. Yes, it's a bumpy road ahead, and certain areas of the map can be tricky to navigate. It doesn't take away the innate epicness this track encapsulates, as you rush around in front of a huge audience. Frankly, Mario Kart fans are excited to see this one return.
